My wife and I ordered our wedding cake from here, and it was amazing! My wifes best friend got her wedding cake from Stone House, and there was actually a physical altercation over who was able to take home a piece. If a fight broke out over cake, we knew we had to investigate. We were invited to have a tasting before we ordered our cake, and the owner made us nearly a dozen combinations of cake flavors and icings to choose from. The hardest part was narrowing down which flavors we wanted. Luckily, we were able to make each tier a different flavor. The price was very reasonable, and the cake was beautiful and delicious. At many weddings, the cake is just a mediocre event on the timeline that people could do with or without. However, if you order from here, everyone will be asking where you got it from! Our wedding was in Bel Air, and the staff was more than accommodating to get our cake delivered on time. Im actually writing this review on our 1st Anniversary. We just defrosted the slice that we saved, and it was still delicious! Thank you!

I stopped in to Stone House Bakery on my way home from work to inquire about cupcakes for my sisters bridal shower. As soon as I walked in, it smelled amazing! I asked about cupcakes and had a very different request for my sisters theme (she loves potato chips and I wanted to somehow incorporate chips with the cupcake). My request was not something that typically is done, but they were so accommodating and thought of different ways on how to execute the idea. In the end, they provided chocolate covered potato chips for the tops of the beyond delicious cupcakes and they were SUCH a BIG hit! Thank you to Stone House Bakery for providing fun, delicious, and affordable cupcakes for my sisters celebration! (I now stop in for single cupcakes and other treats whenever I have a sweet tooth) :)

Can you do more than 5 starts? Three words A. MA. ZING. I had their cupcakes at the Turf Valley Bridal Show but failed to get their card so was OVERJOYED to see them and their fabulous display in Sykesville this weekend. I brought them to work and EVERYONE was WOWED!!! Seriously delicious cupcakes. UPDATE: 2 months later and Im STILL in love with their cupcakes. ECSTATIC that they do the Howard County Farmers Markets so I dont have to travel as far...but well worth it if the Market gets rained out!

I cant say enough great things about Stone House Cakery! They are awesome people to work with and their FOOD IS FABULOUS! All of the bakery products, cakes, cupcakes, and pastries are made with more than just sugar and flour- they are made with love. I tried their product at a wedding show, and the next day I was ordering a small naked cake for mothers day and everyone love it!! Thank you Lois, Dean, and Sharon for a great experience and I cant wait to work with you guys for my wedding cake :)

I had never been to this bakery and saw good reviews on Yelp! I ordered a carrot cake for a birthday party. I have received numerous compliments on the cake which makes me very happy. They were so incredibly easy and fun to work with. And so amazingly nice. I will continue to use this bakery from now on for all baked good. WONDERFUL!!!! AMAZING!!!! INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! BEYOND DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!

first try at this bakery...sticky buns. now let me say I dont like sticky buns at all but the kids brought one home for me. Did I already say I dont like sticky buns? Well I can now say I dont like any sticky buns but these. They were awesome. I will definitely be trying Stone House again. As a matter of fact I am headed there this morning for breakfast for me and my husband.

Ive been buying their cupcakes for years now and they are hands down the best in the area! Mrs. Lois even did the cupcakes for my wedding and they were fantastic! Everyone enjoyed them! I will drive to anywhere they are just to get cupcakes ! Also their bread, brownies, and cookies are to die for also!

I hate desserts but ì bought assortment of cupcakes and died with sheer delight and ecstasy. They also let me in and served me on the day they were closed. My favorites were turtle cupcake cupcake and the leek soup

We lived for these cupcakes. They were flipping amazing. We got around 60 mini cupcakes and 15 creme brûlées. They were quickly devoured because everyone loved them. Lois was great to work. Would highly recommend!!
