This place is definitely worth the stop if youre in the Ludlow area, whether for a drink, dinner, or a comfortable nights sleep. Owners Eliza and Justin make you feel welcome from the second you walk in the door. The drink menu is the most diverse in town, offering a variety of beers and the best cocktails on Main Street, guaranteed. If youre able to make it for dinner, you wont be disappointed. The shared menu is perfect. With so many delicious items you have the opportunity to try a variety of flavors and dishes and enjoy it with your company. I have yet to have a dish I havent wanted to order again and again. The rooms are comfortable and affordable. Its perfect for one night or a week long ski trip, accommodating a solo skier on a budget or a family of adventure seekers. Homestyle Hostel is most certainly a gem. If youre wanting to get away or enjoy a night out yet feel at home, this is the place to be.

We must have visited on an off night. The place was crowded. Bar was empty. We were going to order some food. It took a while to get service from the one bartender who seemed to be having a bad night? My friend ordered a cocktail off the menu - was then told they were out of a component (a small amount of homemade ingredient) and that shed need to pick something else. Ten minutes went by and then I finally received my drink. He apologized after for neglecting to provide my friend with any other drink suggestions. We left without ordering anything else. Would try again if we were in the area but unfortunately were just passing through.

I feel so fortunate to have found this gem. Justin and Eliza are the most kind hearted hosts Ive had the pleasure of meeting. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and a great place to lay your head after a long day on the mountain. The specialty cocktails were AMAZING - I highly recommend the "Mexican Firing Squad". The food was sooo good... every item on the menu is worth trying. Couldnt have had a better experience. FIVE STARS! Thanks for being awesome, Homestyle Hostel. We will be back soon, for sure!

This is my 3rd time staying here, and each time has been a phenomenal experience. Tonight was my first time eating at their restraunt and the food was exceptional. The cod was cooked perfectly, the sauce was flavorful and well balanced. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food, service and accomodations. I really dont know why Id stay anywhere else when skiing in vermont. This is the spot.

This place is amazing. The beds are memory foam, the owners Eliza and Justin are some of the nicest people out there, they have a commercial kitchen which is free to use during the week, the bar is decorated really nicely, they have fun games to play, and for only $35 a night, you couldnt find a better place to stay in Vermont. Your right in the center of ludlow. There are shops and food and bars all around.

I did not dine here but did stay in the hostel: If youre reading the google reviews youre already considering staying here. Do yourself a favor and book it, the place rocks. Its clean, the bunk rooms are awesome the beds are excellent, the walls allow privacy and theres a ton of outlets if you need to charge up. Justin is an excellent host. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area

We took a friend here to celebrate her birthday. We loved it! Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The drinks and food were delicious as well. We will definitely be coming back.

A great place to stay, the hosts are incredibly comforting. the area is great I went in the summer and was able to enjoy the hikes around the area. The bar and food is also amazing.
