I hadnt been in Pierres for a long time since I tried to go there and found them closed. I needed to take a dessert to a party and decided to give them a try. I spent thirty dollars for lemon bars, cream cheese bars, and two kinds of brownies, which I then cut in quarters for the party tray. I could have saved a ton by just going to Dans or Smiths because there was nothing so remarkable about Pierres dessert bars. In fact, I like the lemon bars at Great Harvest much better. Sorry, Pierres, but I wont be back. Next time I want a splurge dessert, Ill go back to Normandie, where the prices are more reasonable, and the quality much superior.

High quality bread and bakery items. However, the staff consistently touches bread with bare hands, which represents a public health concern. I told them about this problem about half a year ago and they seemed to get better for a while, but recently they went to their old ways and the staff again handles bread with bare hands. I love French bread and Im all for supporting small local businesses, but not if they choose not to follow basic hygiene rules. I dont want to guess what is happening to the bakery items behind the curtain...

This was my first time in and I got shuffled behind other costumers who were behind me when I did finally get to the front of the line I was greated with the up most disrespect then when I ordered I was told " I cant serve that." To wich I waited for a reason and was given nothing but a dirty look. Long story short in response to you going above and beyond to be rude and ignorant I will go above and beyond to see to it that every single person I know will never again or ever spend a penny here

We have been regulars at Pierres for the past 15 years, but it seemed that it was going down and down. But for the past six months it gets better and better. And now they have Turkey Chutney sandwiches again and the best sugar cookies ever. The soups, particularly the mushrooms soup, are to die for, and sitting in Pierres eating lunch and looking out the windows while reading a paper is the best way to spend a lunch. Thank you whoever made Pierres come back.

I really wanted to love Pierres. Its close to my house and seems to have a lot of good options for breakfast and lunch. Ive had several different pastries and a Croque Madame sandwich that was pre-made and soggy. The pastries and bread dont taste fresh and are not flaky when they should be. It was very empty on a Saturday morning when a place like that should be packed in the Millcreek area. I know why now.

Holy cow, the best savory crepe Ive ever had. And the fresh fruit tart was heavenly: a perfect blend of flavors and not too sweet. I dont often heap such praise on a place, but I knew from first bite that I had stumbled on something special. This bakerys cute-yet-casual atmosphere adds to an amazing experience. Definitely coming back.

Delicious! Closest thing to a French bakery in Utah. The breakfast stuffed croissants are amazing and this place is our new favorite to stop for a quick meal before a ski day. The desserts are also very tasty, and so are the sandwiches. The only downside- theyre not open on Sundays.

I first found Pierres at the Salt Lake Farmers Market. If I need a pastry fix on a day other than Saturday I head to the store. The pastries are fresh and amazing. One of my favorites is the lemon bar but if they still have them when I get there I love their breakfast croissants.

Wonderful bread and pastries, but my favorites are the cakes. They are amazing! The carrot cake and raspberry chocolate cake are particularly outstanding. These are a family favorite for birthdays and other celebrations.

Pastries to die for! Love it! To all the haters, its French! French are French! Not warm and fuzzy. Get over it. They are awesome and make excellent food. The end.

Great lunch combos, the spinach & mushroom quiche is great. Different soups every day. Pastries are okay, but cakes are great. (Especially the Tres de Leche).

A delicious bit of France in Salt Lake City! Best bakery in town that Ive been to. The lemon crepe is to die for, and the cheesecake is second to none.

Most of the baked good are good. The sandwiches are really over priced for what you get. Dont pay $8 for one thin slice of processed deli meat.

I bought a few pastry items, and they all tasted a bit old. The bread looked promising, but I would stay away from the sweeter things.

This place is evil. So many amazing things, I always found something new to try. My kids love it as well. Great stop in the morning.

Pierres is the closest similarity to a French style braiserrie in Utah. Coffee is very similar to bakerys ive been to from Paris.

Felt like I was back in France at the Boulangerie. Traditional French bread recipes presented authentically.

Everything weve had here has been exquisite. Great service too! The sandwiches are a little pricey though.
