If there was a zero star I would pick it. This was one of THE worse places/ experiences Ive had. We were seated quickly and that was the best thing they did. The waitress took our drink order, all waters, and food order. She took 8 mins to bring the waters and 11 mins to bring the snack chips. We then waited at least 25 minutes to get our food!! No joke. My husband got up to ask when it was coming and she said it was coming right out. The dishes were over salted and the two different noodle dishes we got tasted the exact same. The other thing was that there was a table of 3 people who got seated just after us and they got their drinks, food and were leaving by the time we got our food. And they only ordered one less dish than us. Their server kept checking back with them verses ours checked with us twice, once as we asked for the bill. I also saw the people who were waited to be seated wait for 15 minutes before our server, who I guess was doubling as hostess, came out to seat them. I wanted to tell them dont bother. Oh and she never apologized for the long wait. Bad service, bad food. We wont be going back at all.

My husband and I arrived on a Friday night at 8:50 pm. The rush should have been over and when we walked in we expected to have fairly quick service. We did have to wait 5 minutes for a table to be cleaned off for us, which was fine. But the waitress took a long time to get to our table, and even longer to come back each subsequent time. By the time we got our food it was 9:45. Two other (large) parties that arrived after us were served before our 2 dishes came. No explanations or complimentary drink/appetizer while we were waiting so long for our meals. The food was pretty good. (I got the Broccoli with Hot Garlic, and my husband liked the Salt and Pepper Chicken for a change from regular Chinese fare.) But I was rather disappointed in the service. If we go back, well have to see what the service is like in the middle of the dinner rush, instead of at the end.

We have only been to Riverwoods a few times and were excited to try something new and we were drawn to shoots.... we walked in the open door only to be told that they didnt open until noon and we needed to wait outside.... it was 11:57 am. We asked if we could sit in the waiting area for the 3 minutes and we were still told to wait outside. It was very odd and unwelcoming behavior so we decided to go to malawis where we were welcomed happily, (yes we were a whole minute early for its opening). Maybe dont open your doors if you are closed, and maybe make the sacrifice and seat the only people that showed up for lunch a couple of minutes early.... you missed out on 65$ plus tips, not to mention I will Not be back and will let others know.

Theres not a lot of reasonable options for Chinese in Utah County. Once you add a requirement you can have a beer, or glass of wine, its limited to Shoots and P.F. Changs. In that light, they do well. It gives you 80% of Changs for less money and its locally owned. That said, it suffers from the same problems. Its overly sweet. The spicy isnt -- even if you ask for it that way. Its Chinese comfort food, theres no fine dining dishes. I appreciate being brought here again on a business meal, because its not part of my regular rotation.

One of my favorite places for Chinese food. The portions are good and priced appropriately. The food always tastes fresh, and Ive never been disappointed with anything Ive ordered. Some favorites are the Mongolian Beef and the Honey Walnut Chicken or Shrimp. The ambiance is enjoyable and friendly. The owner is often found in the front of the house greeting and helping seat guests; its good to see the owner engaging with his customers directly. Generally the service is quite good, but occasionally can be a bit slow.

Ive been to several Chinese restaurants in Utah and thought P.F. Changs was pretty decent, however, after eating at Shoots, theres no way I will eat at any other Chinese restaurant. Theres something about the flavor of the food at Shoots that makes you want to eat there again and again. My favorite dishes are the Mongolian beef, Singapore rice noodles, salt and pepper shrimp, and either the shrimp or chicken lettuce wraps. I also love the strawberry Boba drinks. Oh yeah, the prices are quite reasonable as well.

This place is okay. Its really expensive for pretty mediocre Chinese food. The service is pretty slow, too. They do have a pretty large vegetarian section, which is nice, and its prominently featured on their menu. I did go there a few times ago, about five years ago and havent been back, so maybe theyre faster now and maybe their food tastes better. I hope so, because I wasnt happy at all with my experience.

Took forever to get our food. Horriable Server, she spilled water all over my father and then continued to tell us that she couldnt substitue our rice with noodles. Really? How hard is that to do? The owner never even came over to apoligize about my fathers soiled clothes and continued to mop the floor without comping any of our meals. This place is a joke. I will never go here again!!!! BAD

This is not great- We just moved to Provo so I cant compare it to local places- but China Isle in American fork has way better food and the prices are much better. Asian Star at Fort Union is a lot better, and about the same price. The atmosphere was nice but I had the walnut shrimp and didnt like it- and my husband had the tangerine beef and that was OK- but we spent $40- not worth it.

everything from the food to the service to the ambience was superb. the food was very tasty and was served at the perfect temperature. the restaurant owner was our hostess and her daughter was our waitress. the restaurant was clean including the bathrooms and was quiet enough to talk to my wife. best of all the prices were reasonable. the 1 star reviews must be from their competitors.

Everything is perfectly prepared, the owner was very nice, server was great, food was delicious. We ordered the sesame chicken, which was perfectly tender and crispy. The sauce had the perfect flavor and came out at just the right temperature. Eggdrop soup was great. They also give you wonton chips to snack on before the food comes! -been here twice, and will be back frequently

Fun atmosphere within the Riverwoods shops. Beautiful interior and romantic with real oil candles. We had the tangerine chicken and honey walnut shrimp. Tangerine chicken was a wonderful and refreshing new flavor. The honey walnut shrimp was tasty, but about as good as panda express (but for twice the price). Good and fast service.

My wife and I came here for dinner the other day. Its a cozy atmosphere and the price for the food was spot on. We had the lettuce wraps and the hot garlic chicken with rice and walked out for $30 totally satisfied. The service was prompt and very kind. Will definitely be returning next time the Chinese food craving sets in.

Great food, had the bobo platter and tangerine chicken. Liked the crab puffs on the platter so much we ordered another serving. Service was a little slow but we werent in a rush so it gave us time to talk and enjoy the food. Quantity was about right for the price and the quality and taste was right on. Will come here again.
