There is a reason I like to visit Happys as a regular customer. It is great food! I also like that there are options for specific dietary needs. As a person with gluten intolerance I return to Happys because I know when I ask for gluten free preparation they take special care to ensure there isnt a contamination issue. I love the new location. The restaurant atmosphere in the historic building is really nice. The service at the downtown location is really great also. If you havent tried Happys Downtown location you should make plans to do so.

We ordered to-go tonight. It was AWFUL. Do NOT eat here! The soup is basically just onions with liquid around it. The Lomein has absolutely NO flavor and tastes like it could be dog food. Actually, it has no flavor so I dont even know what to compare it to. We also ordered schewan chicken and yeah, thats not good either. Such a fail of a night! I read lots of the reviews before we tried this place and thought for sure it would be good. Nope. We spent $35 dollars. Total waste! Dont waste your time! Wish we hadnt!

This food was without a doubt the worst Chinese food i have ever had. Everything aside from the STEAMED rice was horrid. If i could give zero stars i would, the generals chicken was bland, and weirdly nutty, the almond chicken was thick, and had weird white splotches in it, i honestly thought it was moldy when it arrived. and the sweet and sour chicken was decent, but still very bland with no edge, it all just seemed to roll together into a nasty lump of gunk. Will never eat here again.

The food made my husband and I physically sick. We ordered delivery. The walnut chicken tasted like they took a bottle of walnut extract and dumped it on our chicken, the fried shrimp and crab rangoon were bland, and my husbands fried rice tasted bad. The best thing out of our two plates was the steamed rice I got. Not worth the $30 and will never eat here again. If youre going to get Chinese food in the Idaho Falls area, go to Mings.

First time coming here and I ordered lo mein with beef broccoli. The only thing that tastes decent was the beef broccoli. The lo mein had no taste even with soy sauce and when I asked for chili sauce the lady said it costs extra! Paid almost $12 for something not even worth it! Not going to that place ever again. There is probably another chinese restaurant in Idaho Falls that is way better than this place.

Just horrible. I ordered the curry chicken. It should be renamed Curry Celery with a little chicken . Im not necessarily complaining about amount of chicken, more the ratio of diced celery to everything else. Hard to believe in a curry, but the barely cooked celery was the most prominent taste. No more Happys for me. This has been the third bad experience. Youd think Id have learned by now.

Idaho Falls isnt normally where I would think of really good Chinese food, but I really do enjoy Happy! Im the type that gravitates to the "classic" American favorites, sweet and sour and whatnot, but every time I ask for a recommendation Ive always been encouraged to try new things that have always wound up to be solid decision making! My favorite is the concubine chicken, hands down.

I cant give them zero stars so one will have to do. This was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten, even by eastern Idaho standards. The fried rice was bland and even the packet of soy sauce couldnt make it palatable. The mandarin chicken tasted like pressed chicken coated in cardboard. Save your money and your time and look for a better place for your Chinese food.

Happys Chinese Restaurant is the best Chinese Ive has outside of of L.A. Ive been a vegetarian for 20 years and am very picky about my tofu and Happys nails it every time. I eat here so much BeBe knows my order the moment I walk in the door! I have never had a disappointing meal from Happys! Try the Mah Po tofu, it is fantastic!

This is the worst Chinese food! The soup just water! My daughter ordered sesame chicken, terrible! No flavor! Nothing we ordered was good, the pot stickers dough was not cooked, we couldnt eat anything and we told them how bad it was and they just didnt care, they charged us anyway! We payed 55 dollars a total waste. ...

My husband I ordered take out. Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The eggfooyoung was so bad it went in the garbage, it had to have been frozen and reheated. Plus when we got it, it was cold. The chow mein had no liquids in it, it was steamed veggies. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

Absolutely delicious food, bbq pork appetizer was moist and delicious, chicken in cashew chicken was so very tender. I will go back. The only downside was, that they forgot to bring my dinner salad (in leiu of soup), but "someone" picked up the tab for my dinner... which I am pretty sure was them.

Perfect! Ive been going to Happys for 20 years. They are in a new location. Tried the yellow Thai shrimp curry. It was Amazing. The rest of the tables meals were, too. Beautifly presented and perfectly executed. Highly recommended this quiet dining experience.
