My wife and I travel a fair amount and enjoy dining out wherever we go. We seldom do reviews but since this grill is in our own backyard we wanted to give people an idea of what we experienced We just checked this out first time last night. What a surprise - if you like the automobile, have ever liked the automobile, know what the Mille Miglia was, who Juan Fangio was, OK sorry I get carried away. This place rocks. Our server was Kristie and she was great, her descriptions and knowledge of the menu were spot on and very helpful. We chose a pulled pork sandwich and a spicy sloppy joe. My wife felt that her Pulled Pork was more chunks than pulled (?) and the sauce was a little thin, I took a bite and thought it was good enough to order one for myself next time so there you have two opinions in one sitting. My Sloppy Joe was sloppy, spicy and the bun was just sturdy enough to keep it all in bounds (note my wife tried to steal my sandwich!). If I had paid $20 for the Sloppy Joe it might have been disappointing (something I did recently in Toronto fyi), but at $10 I am happy to say the food is good, and good for me is good, I dont walk into a place called Garage Grill and expect gourmet, I expect good and thats what I got. The prices are fair and the menu is surprisingly eclectic, something for everyone and Im betting its all as good as the photos look. From the look I got into the kitchen I get a vibe that says they care about what they plate for their customers. They have a lot of specials and events going on from Taco Tuesdays, to Martini Mondays to Car Shows. Definately makes the environment interesting and varied. Check out their website for more detail. The place was fairly quiet when we arrived but Im guessing it could get pretty raucous with a decent crowd. The music selection was just right for the setting, volume was too loud for quiet conversation but if your pulse is already hyped from the cars on display then the volume works. We plan to become regulars and jump in on some of those daily specials. I mean, come on- $3 Tacos and $5 Margaritas?? Dont know much about the owners/managers et al but thanks for this unique Draper pub, I think we locals have scored a winner. sm

Went here for brunch with a dear friend of mine. We love to have brunch and catch up about once a month. She suggested this joint last minute and after looking at the menu and the photos online I was like - heck yeah - lets try it. I wasnt sure what to expect. I knew that I would love the decor as I am a petrolhead, but what surprised me the most was the food. HOLY CRAP - it was absolutely FANTASTIC. I had the Murcielago Monte Cristo - The sandwich was perfection - the meats were juicy, the fry on the outside was perfect and not greasy at all. The fruit compote they served it with was out of this world. Together - it was continuous bites of bliss. My friend had the Tatchos - Yes - Tater Tot Nachos - and they too were divine - the chilli was seasoned well and not overly spicy, the nacho cheese was oooey and gooey - Ohhhh it was killer. But our favorite thing by far was the staff. Our server C (name withheld for privacy), was the piste la resistance - Attentive, knew the food - not just to sell certain items, but KNEW and knew what to recommend when asked. She was witty, with just the right amount of snark to keep up with my friend and I. P, A and T joined in the conversation and we felt like we had made some new friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and you can bed your Aston Martin we will be BACK again and again.

The seating for 2 is almost all tables not comfy. Service was good thats why I gave a 2. I tried the cream of mushroom soup it was extremely overran with what taste like Portobello mushrooms which are too overwhelming. Next I tried the Philly cheese steak with Swiss cheese and a salad. The sandwich was very greasy and the meat was overly mushy. The peppers are large pieces not mixed in with the steak. The salad is not something I would order again. I like leafy salads mixed greens with iceberg not all leaf. It is served with purple onion and fresh cucumbers. Next I had the Monterey chicken sandwich with tater tots. Its a typical grilled chicken sandwich nothing great. Not seasoned kind of bland. The tater tots although very crispy need some season salt or something. The chips that come with the salsa and queso are too hard. A chip should be light and crispy. The queso tasted like nacho cheese but the salsa was really good. The beer list is fairly descent however they dont have Modelo and thats my favorite. Asked if they sold their salsa I wanted to buy some but was told they "do not have a way to transport it". The atmosphere is kinda cool but unfortunately I wont be returning to enjoy that.

the queso was a total disappointment, for 8 dollars you would expect a nice bubbly chip and dip . It was a small bowl of terrible jar salsa that they added cilantro to. chips were defiantly bagged. and for the queso. Cold in small bowl and tasted like flour. The server was so annoying, he clearly was just sucking up to us. ordered a pitcher of beer, after he told us that they have been praised about the refrigeration system, because only a really cold draft will do. it was luke warm. horrible. when we ordered the main dish, every little thing we said, he said it was his favorite, yah, right.philly cheese steak has almost no cheese, meat was very tough and chewey. the southwest salad was ok, not worth the price, and i was burping gross dressing all night. waiting for our check was so long I had to go find him and put it in his hand, it was at least 45 min after we were done eating our nasty food. fool me once, never again

I love to try new places, even though you never know what you might get. The Garage has only been here for six weeks. It is not your typical bar and grill. It is decorated like a garage but there are real race, modified stock, and exotic cars in the restaurant. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu went above and beyond typical grill fare. They have a complete sushi menu. We were happy with everything we ate, but far happier with our server, Phil. I have food allergies and he was very conscientious about checking with the kitchen about many menu items for us. Finally, the bar. They have an extensive wine, beer and cocktail menu. They have their own brews as well as many other local beers. Samples are only 55 cents so we tried 8 beers before even making our final choice. Many high point options. Overall for sure a place to check out. The cars even change routinely so the atmosphere will never get stale.

We have been to this place 4 times in the past 2 months on Saturday 3-18-17 @ 630pm our 4 friends showed up there to get us a table for 7 total. No one came to take drinks or anything, when the other 3 showed up @ 7:10pm there still was no drinks on the table, then they gave us chips and salsa and cheese dip, finally after an hour we got our drinks we order and our food( which it was all seasoned way to much ) was ok, then one of our people in our party never got his food until we went and asked 2 times where it was and when we all were done eating he got his food, our waitress forgot about us the whole night its was the worst i have ever seen it. I shouldnt have left a Tip (some of them didnt) All of our checks were wrong so everyone paid everyone elses bill. I am not sure well be coming here again, will go elsewhere :( :(
