Will NEVER eat here again!! Husband & I ordered 2 poached eggs--white very done, hash browns-browned, slice of ham and a bisquit. The eggs came in a little bowl with half water in bowl---we emptied the water onto napkins at the table then cut up egg and there was still water in at least 1/3 of bowl which meant eggs were not cooked correctly, all food was COLD, ham had not even been fried, simmered or touched a heating element of any kind, husbands biscuit was burned on top and both biscuits were cold, hash browns were NOT browned and were mushy.......whew! Horrible breakfast.....the waitress NEVER came to table to ask if everything was okay or I would have told here about the cold under cooked breakfast. The place is 50s decor which is comforting and nice, however, the chairs seats slant backwards and if one is short like I am the table comes to just between end of neck and shoulder area!!! Very uncomfortable....BUT that was not the real problem.....Was the food!!! Be careful if eating here!!!! Wont return!!!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday. They were extremely busy. They did take our order quickly and were pretty attentive, but the food was slow to come out. They also have the tables packed in pretty tight and 6 of us were crammed into a tight space. However the food was delicious and well presented. Try the blueberry pancakes! The prices were also extremely reasonable. Id go back, but might wait for a less busy season.

We went to the Wimberley Cafe this morning for breakfast, and it was fabulous! The waitress was very kind and eager, the owner stopped by to check on our table, and the food was INCREDIBLE. I could not have gotten better Migas if I had cooked them myself, and the refried beans here are authentic and full of flavor. All this was during the peak of Sunday-morning-rush-hour. Fantastic visit; we will be back!!!

My sister and I were there for breakfast Not sure why people said they have great food. It was ok. It reminds me of how my mom cooked breakfast for us. My mom is not the greatest cook...i ordered 2 eggs over medium but both eggs were super over easy inside and burnt outside. My sisters french toasts were burnt and hard. Lemonade tasted like made with minutemaid. I would not come here again

We visit Wimberley at least once a year - from Oregon - and the trip would never be the same without breakfast every day at the Wimberley Cafe. In fact, I believe that Ive had breakfast there every day Ive been in Wimberley. Great food at great prices. With service that is always friendly, fast, and helpful. I would recommend the migas, but you cant go wrong with any breakfast.

Classic hometown cafe with a great breakfast (try the Tejas Omelette), and lunch (Reuben with sweet potato fries). The generous patio is great for people watching and visiting almost any time of year. Fair weather on Saturday mornings brings an authentic guitar playing musician with an amusing array of song choices. Family owned and operated, youll feel really welcome.

My FAVORITE diner for breakfast. The $2.50 breakfast tacos are amazing. Eggs, bacon, beans, cheese, fresh salsa, and hashbrowns all piled up on a toasted tortilla that takes up the plate. This is a typical-looking diner, i.e. its not fancy inside; but the prices and quality are GREAT and will leave you wanting to come back.

While I live in Wimberley, hadnt been here in years. Stopped with a friend after a run down Winters Parkway and had the Tejas omelette. I really liked it. Will be coming back soon. Staff was over worked today as it was market days, but they did the best they could do and did make sure you were looked after.

Food was really good. We were swayed around 11 for Sunday brunch and they were already out of all pancakes and several other key items. Food was good but kitchen was very slow. We had read reviews that the place was amazing so we were pretty disappointed. Well give it another try someday. ....maybe

Breakfast was cold when served. Food safety and "temperature danger zones" apply everywhere. My food was heated up in the microwave and for reason (I watched) I dont believe a food thermometer was used to check if the temp was right. Very concerning. How can food come out that cold?

My family and I went on vacation to Wimberley Texas. We were told that one of the best places to eat was The Wimberley Cafe, and I will say they were correct. The servers are excellent, bubbly atmosphere, and I would recommend eating here to anyone who visits Wimberley Tx.

They close at 5 so they dont serve food on the patio much after 4 but said they would serve us outside o problem because we had our dog with us. They were very accommodating and the food was just great and very worth the money. Great job. Id go back ithere in a heart beat

Food was fantastic, service was super friendly and very accommodating! Low prices for great portions. The chicken fried steak was the biggest Ive ever seen, and the chicken strips were perfectly perfectly cooked. Definitely returning the next time were in Wimberley.

This is our cafe on the square. Its an excellent location and is usually hopping. Big breakfast selection from pancakes to omelettes. Lunch is a large variety of salads, sandwiches, and hot items like chicken fried steak. I particularly like the Reuben.

Slow service, cold food when it was finally served, I had to endure a mentally challenged grown man (that they were aware of running around) talking to me while I was attempting to eat my cold food without choking....very disappointed

Traditional American cafe fare, with nothing too fancy. The waitresses may be over worked or hung over, so dont expect a really nice meal with great service. Also their restroom was out of order when we were there

Sunday brunch was great. Each breakfast plate came with a small sweet muffin. We sampled blueberry pancakes, omelettes, migas and huevos rancheros. Breads included tortillas, biscuits, toast, and pancakes.

Food was good. But only 1 restroom for the entire restaurant makes it a little uncomfortable. Unless you like to make friends with random strangers while standing in line.

The food was good and decent prices. Wait staff is on the ball. From what I was told, normally there is a line. But we hit it just right. Walked in and sat down.

Mediocre service and the owners are jerks. The food is nothing special and not worth the drive to WImberly to get. You can get this food anywhere.

Great food, staff is "meh", and the layout of the place is super bizarre and you have no idea where to go or who to talk to when you walk in.
