While in town on business I stumbled upon this martini bar. at the time of my arrival it was really dead. only two couples were present. I thought this would work in my favor. In some ways it did and some ways it didnt. Its not like most bars that have a drink menu that explains whats in a drink. They have a wall of chalk with drink names stylishly written on it but no description. As someone who suffers from food allergies I had to practically quiz the bartender - Cruze - as to each drinks ingredients. This made the ordering process difficult. At one point Cruze appeared to be annoyed stating what can you have. After giving that list he asked what alcohol I wanted. He then crafted a cocktail based on that. It wasnt what I had in mind when I began but it was good. I think the most fun I had was watching cruze work. With so many custom blends, rare liquors, and mixers it was a full out show. This is where I valued this bar. the showmanship of a mixologist can really make a difference. The food menu comes a food truck names she ate me. the selection options are few but just enough to take the edge off. from that menu we had the assorted pickles, bacon wrapped dates, and the blt. My second drink was one id heard a lot about call the Dirty Mexican Fairy. It had tequila, absinthe, and lime. This was like nothing id ever had before. not for the lightweight drinker for sure. Each drink was $11 which ill say is a steal. Signage leads me to believe they have a live band sometimes, maybe next time when I visit they will be playing.

Wow! All I have to say about the bacon and creme brule martinis! Wow! The bartender did take his time making it, fyi, but you cant rush perfection or brilliance on this scale! Ever since trying these I want to go back! The place had nice decor and looked to be an old bank judging by the vault! It was a really cool lol vine in there! We walked in to live music, not too loud like in a lot of places, and a few people scattered around a couple of tables! We ended up ordering more and more of those drinks and ended up being the only ones closing it down! It was really pleasant there and we were able to maintain a conversation with each other without any challenges! Definitely a place to check out and try those martinis! They will knock your socks off!

To clarify, this is a really good martini bar, not really a wine bar. I think they offer beer and wine selections, but their speciality cocktails are exceptional. Prices for specialty drinks range from $7-$10. The bar is classy, small, and (mostly) a local joint. The bartenders really care about each drink they make, with fresh ingredients and great preparation. Their Cucumber Martini is fantastic for a refreshing summer drink. Their Espresso Tini is fantastic for a long night, or after-work cocktail. I need to head back to try their Lemon Custard Martini and Ginger Tini. They also offer flavored Caiparinas! Great location on Crockett Street, practically on the Riverwalk downtown.

I absolutely LOVE this bar! Every bartender is AMAZING but my favorite has always been Cruze, he takes such pride in every drink he creates. I live in San Antonio and have been coming here for a couple of years now and its still by far my favorite bar. The atmosphere is calm and live Jazz band is great and I cant say enough about their awesome drinks! Its always such a pleasure relaxing here after a long week! If youre local or visiting our beautiful city and looking for great drinks, outstanding service and a relaxing atmosphere, SOHO is THE place to be! P.S. My favorite drinks are: Nutter Butter, Spicy Mexican Martini, Caramel Crème Brule and Thin Mint!

If you want an original, hand-crafted unique cocktail in San Antonio, you cant go far wrong with Soho. Theres nothing in a bottle that intimidates co-owner Lutfy Flores who can mix a mean cocktail that combines top ingredients and imagination - in fact, Id recommend letting him choose a drink for you. Since changing the bar layout early in the year, the place has really found its vibe and has become a welcome addition to the relatively small group of really cool bars in downtown. Its great to see some real quality drinks in a place that privately owned (rare to see on the Riverwalk) that can stand up to the best bars in New York, LA or Chicago.

An exceptional experience. Just assume I enumerated every positive and affirmative adjective. Having visited a number of great cocktail venues on the West Coast, and being a whisky advocate, please assign this review appropriate accord. This place is awesome. The venue is cozy, the cocktails are truly magical, and the customer service is friendly and engaging. They dont have the biggest whisky selection, but they have the best stuff. The bartenders are creative and highly professional. Its the kind of place you can go totally whisky/cocktail omikase and be satisfied.

Shame we cannot rate their drinks but I can their service. A relatively slow midweek night we waited in line for 40 min to watch the bartender give free drinks to their friends. No acknowledgement we were there taking up space in the relatively small bar area. Live music was a plus. We had to go somewhere else for drinks since we could not get served. Tip.... Hire wait staff and let the bartenders do what they do best.... Give away drinks. We my go back in a few months to see if they got their service problems resolved. Wish others better luck.

I LLLOOOOOVVVVEeEE this place. Seriously no compliant...well maybe only if the front portion could be bigger so that I could always find seating to be close to the amazing band!!! The singer and band on Friday nights has an amazing voice. Ive seen other musicians stop by which is soooo cool! The drinks are amazing! I usually stick to wine, or on the rocks because Im a picky "drinks" drinker...but the drinks and service here is great! Its My fav weekend hangout spot!

Found this place next door to our hotel, Mokara. Incredible drinks, awesome service. Our mixologist, Cruz, is an artist. My wife and I enjoyed great music and a relaxing atmosphere. Cruz kept on bringing new creations (11 between my wife and I) and each was better than the last. Will definitely visit again next time we are in San Antonio. I hope they venture out and open shop in Houston.

Best whiskey bar I have ever been to. The venue has a great atmosphere, the bartenders are great. For my wedding I intended to only bring the groomsmen here one night, it ended up being the goto destination for at least 3 nights for a large group of all of our wedding guests. The bartenders do a great job of customizing your drinks and ensuring you get the right drink.

I heard jazz playing as I was walking by and decided to stop in and take a look. To my surprise it was nothing I expected. I spoke to the owner who works just as hard as his employees. They are all so down to earth. They are heavily stocked to accommodate your taste buds. It is an upscale, classy bar that you will find yourself referring to your friends for a drink.
