One can easily get carried away at the produce bar after receiving your just cooked burger at the service counter. I cant have a burger without onions so the pico de gallo is a natural as one of the toppings I choose and it already contains the tomato that I also have to have on my burger. Then there are sliced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos, sliced onions, chiffonade of iceberg lettuce and fresh leaf lettuce, and pickles that may find their way on to my burger as well. Of course mustard, mayo, and even cheese (use the term loosely) are there ready to pump onto your bun. Leave the catsup alone. Thats for dispensing into the little cups and to be used for onion rings and fries. You can also get cheese, but the little plastic wrapped slice likeyou get at HEB will cost you $1 extra. Assembling the darn thing and unhinging ones jaw for the first bite is always a challenge. Pass the roll of paper towels please! Had the special Houston Texan burger today which is a 1/2 pounder with the addition of onion rings, cheese, jalapenos and bbq sauce. I cut the bbq sauce since I usually dont put that on anything except bbq, and only if the meat is not very tasty or its dry. The accouterment adjusted burger was pretty good. We order ours medium though and even commented to the order taker how no one in San Antonio seems to be able to cook the patty medium as requested. Guess how our patty was served! Point proven . . . again. Like the wide variety of soda choices the newer movie theatre type soda dispensing machines afford. The only problem is that all the soda types and flavors end up using the same final dispensing tube. As such it seems that my Coke sometimes has an orange flavor to it or my Dr. Pepper has a root beer edge. Just like the old office break room dispensing machines that used to provide both hot soup and coffee. It was not uncommon to get some chicken flavored java for breakfast. Not very crowded on a Tuesday for lunch, we were in and out lickety split. With a coupon for the many two for one deals they have, this is not a bad choice for lunch.

Having been to other Fuddruckers, this one is disappoining. We were traveling from Tampa, FL to Phoenix, AZ & decided to stop in well before they closed in order to grab a bite before we stopped for the night. Upon ordering some tenders and onion rings, the young lady at the other register leaned over to the man taking our order and said "86 rings." He didnt fully understand, so she explained quietly: "the cooks dont want to make any more onion rings." I was genuinely taken back. I looked at the man; he kind of shrugged and said "we have really good sweet potato fries." After settling for french fries (which were still good, we just wanted onion rings more) and waiting for our name to be called so we can go get our food (again, another disappointment, because every other Fuddruckers weve been to has served the meal to us) our food sat there for over five minutes -- not a huge deal, but it wouldve been great to know our food was ready. The staff was fine, but we wont be back.

Just moved to San Antonio from Seattle, never been to Fuddruckers before and thought Id give them a call for take out. Picked up the burgers, not knowing you have to put the topping on myself. Got home noticed and called to figure out what happened, the manager was nice and asked for my name an remembered who I was, he said feel free and drop in for a replacement. I called to confirm my new order, they didnt know who I was treated me like I was trying to steal a free meal, past around to different managers that loved to ask me the same questions over and over. Me and my family will never go back!

Not bad, just ok. The default is a 1/3 or 1/2 lb burger but if you look closely you might find the "managers special." A 1/4 burger with fries and a drink. I think it was still about $7 but just not as much food if that is what you are looking for. Full condiment bar - lettuce, maters, onions, nacho cheese sauce in a pump and much more. Even jalapenos - for FREE! Burger wasnt very flavorful and just luke warm. Final verdict: Ill come back but I just wont make it one of my regular joints.

The manager George is completely rude. I paid almost 13.00 for a meal and it was incomplete. I had to ask for my own silverware. He didnt even put it in a bag for me. When I called the manager was completely unprofessional. He answered "yes".... Then at the end of our combo, no bye or nothing he hung up on me. This is my first time going back in 2 years because I used to gone a week and they kept making my meals incomplete. Thanks for the inconvenience. ;(

Its pretty much like any fast food restaurant, but here you get the bread and meat and then go to the salad bar, which has nothing besides the basic (lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles) and serve it yourself. The vegetables are expose there, open, no refrigeration and I saw a mosquito flying on top of it. Disgusting af. Tables and floor looked dirty as well. First time here, but never again!!!

we were so excited to come here! Then my son (22) brought in his clear VALID ID and tried to order a beer and the douchebag drink monitor (not the girl at the register)build him no because his pic was turned the wrong way. The TX ID clearly stated he was 22. It ruined the night and his greasy appearance was disgusting and Im worried about my food now.

Did not have condiments for you to put on your burger so I asked the mgr on duty for more because the ones that are there are terrible. He told me that they all came (tomatoes )from the same box and he walked away. What a jerk! Condiment bar was half full. No paper towels on the table. Uhhh very fustrated with this visit.

Came in with my family for a BOGO special on 1/2lb burgers. Never disappointed. Price is great and burgers always come out the way we request. Condiment bar is always stocked. Fries & onion rings are fresh. Produce always crisp and delicious! Now they have the new coca cola machines where you can make your own drinks!!

went to refill soda came back to find my food got taken away by the buser, so paid 15$ to only to be able to eat less than half of it, this is the second time this has happened so if you are going to eat here do it only as a group, cause apparently you need someone to guard your food from the busers .

Not really one of our go to places for burgers. I have tried a few of the different types of meats and they are ok. Usually when I ask for a medium burger, I get a medium well every time. They have a decent option of sides, the onion rings are awesome. Love the complimentary jalapeno cheese sauce.

Tried to order two turkey burgers, by the time we finished with the last family members order (4th person) we were informed that there were no more turkey burgers. If you are running out of burgers by six pm, you should just take it off the menu. BIG disappointment. Wont be coming back.
