Went there on a Saturday night. Drink is a tiny place with most of the inside taken up by sofas. The music is from a jukebox so the atmosphere really depends on what is being played. This night it was slow soft blues, which made me want to fall asleep, but I cant blame Drink for their customers bad taste in music. There isnt a dress code so you can come in wearing jeans and a shirt which is nice. They had 2.5 bartenders which is ok for the size of the place. However, 1 bartender spent most of his time with another gentleman and often ignored other customers. He walked past another gentleman who was trying to close his tab 3x and took my friends drink with 1/3 left in the glass. I think one of the bartenders was a female or she was just allowed to go behind the bar and make drinks when she wasnt talking to guys in the front. There was another bartender who was decent however, he charged me another persons tab and said he was going to fix it. Just checked my checking account and he didnt, in fact they actually charge me $40 more. I checked with my other friends about their experience and they felt the same.

It is so nice to find a bar with a fantastic atmosphere like this in downtown San Antonio, which can be touristy at times. If you are looking for a more refined location (without the body shots and fraternity brothers visiting the Riverwalk), then visit Drink. You will not be disappointed. GREAT margaritas! The bar is conveniently located very close to the Riverwalk, right across from the Hotel Contessa. The bartenders are really fast and attentive, the drinks are creative and well-crafted, and the people are great. You can find classic cocktails, or request a new, fun drink to be made. Reasonably priced for the quality and the high level of service. You can sit at the bar and watch a game after work, chat with a friend on the comfortable couches, or have a nightcap after a wild night out. I highly recommend this bar.

Unprofessional bartender girl on power trip, very rude and unfriendly. This occurred sometime in January 2013 but will never return due to the lack of hospitality. The bartender was more concerned about talking and making out with her boyfriend outside of the bar. Considering the atmosphere was cozy, very dissapointed. Wish another bartender could have taken care of us.

The bartender Crystal did not acknowledge us she spent most of her time talking to a customer on the far right side of the bar his drink was half way done. We waited 10 minutes and no service .I hope she gets a good tip from the customer that kept her from doing her job .It was a real disappointment from the first visit which was great .

The bar itself was nice. However our bartender ruined the experience for us. Any attmept to talk to her resulted in a very awkward stare from her. We felt very out of place because we tried to strike up a conversation. She had a very condescending tone with us the whole time. After one beer we rushed out. We will never go back.

Bartender was awful. Waited near 10 minutes and would not acknowledge me nor any of our group. At one point, when we tried to talk to her, she immediately turned around and helped someone else who just walked up. Seems to be a common complaint here. Wont be back.

Was a quiet little place off the beaten path. It is a Saturday and they have DJ blasting the music (no dance floor and no one dancing). Used to be able to sit on the couch and chill. They must be trying to attract the riverwalk crowd.

I was staying at the Contessa and found Drink over the road. Its about a third of the price of the bar in the hotel and much more mellow. Thanks to the bartenders for great food recommendations during my stay!

Great little bar, staff was very friendly and they have a good variety of beer on tap!!! I suggest to anyone who is looking to pull up a stool to the bar and watch a game or just hang out with some friends!!!!

I always visit Drink whenever I go downtown for the relaxed atmosphere, good drinks and bartenders. Its also pretty cheap considering the area. Theres also a jukebox so I can even set the music I want.

I hadnt seen this place before since its hidden across from the Hotel Contessa. The prices are very low for the Riverwalk. You can get a draft beer for $2.50. Service is fast and friendly.

Good bar to go to for a drink. Cocktails are pricey but they do a good job. No issues with the staff, there are certainly nicer bars to go to but I cant say this one was bad.

I will never again return to this bar. Aside from the wannabe hipster bar vibe, the drinks were awful and the manager was incredibly rude. Talk about a waste of my time.
