A few weeks ago myself my wife and a friend of ours visited On the Rocks pub we had a few drinks played pool and conversated with the bartender it was a great time ... Today myself my wife and my sister walked in expecting the same thing but thats not what happened after making my wife throw away her fountain drink (no outside drink policy) I proceeded to tell the bartender our drink order she them replied with " we dont serve people with facial tattoos now as I said I have been here before more than once but as if that wasnt bad enough the was a gentleman at the bar that also had a facial tattoo but there were two differences between him and I he had a drink in front of him and I did not ... Oh and also I was black and he wasnt !!! In these pictures you will see a picture of me my wife and sister having a drink elsewhere because of this incident and the pictures of me my wife and friend at On the Rocks pub before there supposed policy turned racist...

We werr there on a 3 day weekend trip every club gave bad service we came to this place right before we left for home and told the bartender our experience...dont remember her name but she was pretty hispanic girl. She said round of shots are on me first thing! We had a great time talked alot and she knew how to make a hurricane! (I asked every place around and know one knee how to) love the bartender! Would recommend for people to go there and thats the only one we will go to if we come back to san Antonio :) thank you on the rocks!

In San Antonio for work and stopped by this bar because it had high reviews. Atmosphere was nice. Bar has pool tables, shuffle board and ping pong. Bar staff (Jordan) was very friendly and knowledgeable about establishments in the vacinity. Will return for sure!! Highly recommend for a chill atmosphere and good drinks at reasonable prices.

Light on a Friday at 9pm, but not complaining. AC is on too.... live music, $5 beers....pool tables. Music started at 930ish and they were rocking lots of good tunes. By 11 it filled in a bit but wasnt crowded at all...a few empty tables still and room at the bar. Might be the best river walk bar Ive been in...

I must have been here on an off night music wise because I swear I heard cotton eye Joe like four times. Its a club not a bar so much. Its tight and loud but people werent rude so theres a plus. Drinks were not weak and service, even as crowded as it was, was never really slow.

Crowded and loud. Severely understaffed. Finally, after sitting patiently at the bar and being ignored we were approached by a bartender. We ordered drinks and he told us he only served beer. A few minutes later we saw him pouring drinks for another patron. We left!!!

Awesome hangout spot with nice specials on drinks. Apparently they have a karaoke night as well! I wasnt able to stay until it started but it sounded fun! No snacks though. Would be nice if they had some chips or peanuts at least! I guess they do that on purpose.

In the Rocks had a dive bar feel. It was busy but everyone was just standing around. Not a lot of seats and no real dance floor. The pool tables were ok but the music volume was to loud so you couldnt really talk without yelling.

Neat little dive bar with good prices and a dj. They had a good selection of craft nerds on tap when we went. The shuffle board game works and theres plenty of tvs. Theres a McDonalds right above it if you get hungry.

Trendier spot brings a bigger crowd in but only a few bartenders working anytime I come. The environment is good but the wait is a little offputting- mostly around the later hours of the night

$10 a head for a UFC fight is fairly normal, but charging $5/person for seats (open seats) is ridiculous. Nickel and dime your customers until they take their nickel and dimes elsewhere.
