We have been buying groceries from Winco since months (after trying out Walmart and Target). A wide range of groceries, friendly and helpful staff, very reasonable prices and its 24 hours open. What else do you need from your grocery store? It has this bulk section that has coffees, flours, chocolates, pasta, rice, cereals, dry fruits, candies and lot more. It is great since it gives you the option to buy only the amount of stuff you want. Reduces wastage of food as well as money. Vegetables and fruits are fresh and of good quality. Items are generally priced lower than other stores like Walmart and Target. They have their private label products under the name Winco and Best Choice - which are cheaper than the branded ones but still maintain the base level quality. For essentials like milk, they also have coupons which waive off one milk can (1 gallon) if the groceries purchased exceeds $25. There is a cap of one milk can per trip. They have food items from across cuisines - Asian (Thai and Chinese), Mexican and Italian. With great quality groceries at a very affordable price, it is definitely the place to go for amazing savings.

Shopping there is great but working there is a different story. Pros:you get benefits, employees are friendly and you learn a lot of retail experiences. Cons: takes advantage of your work ethic and strings you along to make you think your potential is going somewhere but in reality they are just taking advantage of it for their own benifits. Mangment are manipulative and persuasive to have you doing more than you are suppose to. Manager is emotionally unstable to work in that entitlement and she projects her personal issues on other employees. Never appreciated in the hard work they put us through yet makes you feel as if you dont do enough. Working here is mentally and emotionally draining. If they just help their workers and appreciate their work then they wouldnt be losing all of their workers including me. They also have horrible communication skills. They do not inform their employees on details! They just inform few of them and then expect it to get around. If they just notice these things and change it for the better then they would still have their good hard workers and make the place a more positive place to work in!

Me and my mom use to come to this store all the time. We were loyal customers. Until one day my mom had gotten hurt by another customer at night around 7pm. A lady was trying to take her purse and my mom was trying to fight her off and hold on to her purse with all her might. Finally the police showed up after one of the employees had call them. The theives(three) tried to get away but I think they eventually had got caught. And then after a week when me and my mom was trying to shop there all of a sudden the manager told my mom that she was not able to set foot in the store anymore because of the altercation she had the with lady. He said it was company policy( which is bull) But it wasnt even her fault and you can even see it on camera when the lady tried to steal her purse. She could of sued them and would have won but she decided to let it go. My mom had gotten her face and hand messed up, and this is how Wincos repays her. I havent shopped at Wincos for all long time and i dont think Ill ever go back; not after what they did to my mom.

The store is very clean and well organized. I like the spaciousness of the aisles so I can navigate through the store without bumping into other carts. Every employee I encountered was pleasant and courteous. The produce department had a surprising large variety of fruits and vegetables, and they were presented attractively. The meat department was also quite good, with a lot of cuts of meat I did not expect to find, such as beef short ribs, smoked ham hocks, and tri-tip. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I asked 2 questions of 2 separate employees, and didnt get much help. They were out of a certain produce and I asked if they expected any more to come in or had any in stock in the back and the employee just said "I dont know", and just continued to stock, without offering to check. The second one was when I asked where could I find a certain product in the store and they just pointed in the general direction and said "I think over there". It would have been nice to get a little help in both instances.

My wife and I went to Winco on 05/30/2015, a Saturday, and had a very pleasant shopping experience. We were there in the evening time and the store was very busy, but was very easy to shop. A lot of the prices are very good (cheaper than the other stores) but some were the same or a tad higher (not by much). We spent $81 compared to the usual $100+ at Wal-Mart for the same items. The produce was very good, the floors were clean, the shelves were stocked and they had items I havent seen in years!!!! I was very impressed by the store and will return to shop here even though its further away and you have to bag your own items (but they have paper bags!!!!). The friendliness of the staff is what sets them apart from Wal-Mart? Customer service is not forgotten here and that means a lot!

I love the bulk item bins that allow you to stock up on as little or as much dried fruits and baking ingredients as youd like. Weigh your items, mark the item number, and get your stuff at great prices per pound. I do this to make my own Trail Mix with just the stuff I like and a very healthy snack option. Their prepared foods are also surprisingly good quality and make a quick bite to eat for lunch really convenient. As you shop, youll notice not everything is at a super great price, but the prices constantly change and you find tons of stuff at very good pricing with comparisons shown to what the prices are at other local grocers. Produce is the best Ive seen in my area, even better than the "high end" competitors in the are like Whole Foods and Fresh Market

I dont like coming here for some reason, I think the area/store environment is off-putting to me, but am always happy when we actually force ourselves to go. This place is where you go to save money. Their meat department is amazing! Super cheap with good cuts. Has a pretty alright deli. Also, its nice to find a place with bulk bins - yay for cheap quinoa, chia, trail mix, and Himalayan salt! Wish they all had the pour function though (when possible). People can be gross/inconsiderate, so no thanks on scoop bins. Minus one star for long slow lines at all times of the day, and the lack of organic/health foods. But hey, got to keep prices down right?

this was my first time to winco foods ever. It is a really nice, clean and well organized store. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are used to shop at Walmart, Kroger and Albertsons then there is money to save by shopping here. If you are like me, and are shopping in Aldi and the dollar tree, then you will find this place to expensive. I was honestly a little disappointed. I had heard a lot of good things about winco foods prices, but I found many thing there was twice as expensive as Aldi, which is less than a half a mile away! 3 stars for now. When you can match Aldi, Ill be back with more!
