First of all, this place is easy to miss. It looks like a parking garage (because one sits on top of it, I guess), but there are store fronts visible from the street. Beware of the "no parking" signs. If youre unsure or cant find a place to park, they told me they will validate if you park in the garage. Ok, on to the actual restaurant. CHOICES: They have tons of choices; cold and hot subs and sandwiches, salads, chips. Tons of kinds of chips, too. And they have a soda fountain as well as a fridge with bottled drinks, water, teas, etc. Oh, and if you like sauces, they have like TONS of hot sauces and spices and stuff lining the windowsills. FOOD: So heres where it gets tricky for me. Im a vegetarian. So finding good food I can eat is hard. Sometimes impossible. There are several things on the menu I can eat with no questions asked. Probably tons more if I say, leave off the ham, or whatever. I ended up trying something new (an oddity for me), I tried the thing called the Veggie, which is basically a veggie sub with cream cheese instead of... sliced cheese. It was different, but GOOD! It had several flavors that went very well together. And the bread was excellent; very fresh, not stale, not under-cooked, like other places. I am going to be going back there to try their other veggie options soon. SERVICE: AMAZING! Nothing but smiles, and I mean not the fake smiles you get because the boss is watching. The lady at the counter was very friendly. She saw me looking at the billboard and offered a paper menu. She answered my questions about the ambiguous "No parking on other side of sign" signs, and offered that I should park in the garage if Im having trouble. After I ordered and she was helping someone else, I found a tea in the fridge I liked and bought it separate. It was a dollar nine, but I didnt have any change on me, so she let me have it for a buck. When picking up my sandwich, I mentioned that it was the online reviews that brought me here, and she and the man who made my sandwich just lit up like a Christmas tree, they were so happy. Long story short, they have made a long-term customer out of me. Give them a try. At least as good as JJs or Subway, but the options are vastly superior, as is the service.

Okay guys, I debated for over a year about whether or not to write a review on here. I usually do not write reviews, EVER! The first several times my husband and I visited this place we loved it. The owner seemed passionate, if not a bit over zealous in his presentation and the food was great. We returned often as did our friends and local family. Each time family came to town we were sure to take them here...but then we started to see the true colors of the owner himself. I had seen reviews claiming he had been rude to people, but I ignored them...until slowly but surely, each one of us had at least one, if not several rude encounters with the owner. One time my sister in law called in an order and my husband (who the owner knows pretty well) picked it up. He had been extremely rude to my sister in law and when he saw mu husband he said "oh I didnt recognize your wifes voice." Oh so you pick and choose who to be rude too? If it was me it would have been different? Unfortunately I had experiences where he was very rude to me over the phone as well. One of our good friends went in for a sandwich at about 2pm with his wife. Two people. There were maybe two or three people in line. Not terribly busy. When my friend attempted to place his order, the owner rudely told him he should have called in the order! Who calls in an order for two people in the middle of the week outside of a lunch rush? It has only ever been the owner that is rude. His employees are stellar and have great customer service. We all debated so long about whether or not to continue supporting this mans business. We all wanted to avoid going there, but made excuses for a long time to keep returning. My husband recently had a bad enough experience (which he was so upset he refused to talk about, but told me to write the review), that he said he will never eat there again. My sister in law and her husband have made the same choice, as have my friend and his family. It is such a terrible, sad thing that such talent is wasted on a man who can be so rude. It is clear that his business has grown beyond what he can handle. And it is also clear that he needs to take a course in how we do customer service in these parts.

I just left this place and felt I needed to write my first review of a restaurant. Fantastic place. The sandwiches take a few minutes to make because they are quality and more than worth the brief wait. I am in town from Iowa and would highly recommend eating at this place. Not only is their food great but the two people running it today (which I would assume are the owners) are far and away the most welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful people I have ever encountered when eating at a restaurant. I would say 80% of the people there knew and interacted with the owners and the owners knew them by first name as soon as they walked in. Every person, even the newcomers like myself, were greeted and engaged by name the entire time. These owners go above and beyond and were extremely grateful, appreciative, and sincere in thanking and interacting with each customer. Truly a special local business and if I am ever here again I would certainly give them my business time and time again not only for the quality food but the exceptional people running it. PS - If you want one of their huge sandwiches call ahead because it takes a bit to make (~25-30 minutes depending upon how busy) as they put everything under the sun on it. I am a very big eater so when I learned that I went with a regular sandwich for time reasons. Which I am glad it worked out that way because just the regular sandwich was still extremely filling and might make me a little sleepy this afternoon since I cant control my eating at times. :)

This is one of those magical places where every single part of the experience is awesome. Let me just say that Im a huge fan of Firehouse subs - its one of my top 5 places to eat, period. But although Subz n stuff is a sub shop like firehouse, thats where the similarities end because they are totally birds of a different feather. First off, I couldnt find the place since Im unfamiliar with Las Colinas so I called and the owner actually came outside to flag me down which I found endearing, haha. Then I went inside and ordered and while I was waiting for my food, the super nice owner chit chatted with me about local businesses and set me up with a customer loyalty card since I mentioned I had just moved to the area. They have a super huge selection of sandwiches, drinks, and house made sauces. I took my ciabatta club sandwich home, and it was one of the top sandwiches Ive ever had. Unf, that sandwich was so good and it was so big that I got to eat it for two meals. So bottom line, dont write this place off even if you think you already have a favorite sub shop. Theres room in your heart for multiple favorites!
