Terrible service at Savannah since it switched owners/names. We used to love this place when it was Magnolias and ever since they switched over, their service has been crap. I ordered a special birthday cake a week in advance and couldnt pick it up myself because I was coming in from out of town. My sister-in-law picked it up for me and luckily she asked to see it because they had misspelled the name on the cake and when she asked if they could fix it they said no. She then asked if she could have piping and icing so that she could fix it herself and they begrudgingly gave her the tools. Once we had the birthday event I noticed that they did the complete opposite of what I had ordered. I ordered a yellow cake with cream filling and no icing on top other than the birthday message. They iced the top and the inside had no filling what so ever. I decided to give them a break after all of this anyway because I wasnt going to let the birthday event get ruined. Well, we took our first bite and the cake was entirely burnt and dry. Oh! Not to mention I paid over the phone and they didnt even know how to get my payment through. They called me three times to try to get my correct information. Anyway, I called the place and I was told there was no manager on duty and to call back on Monday (it was a Saturday when I called). I showed up to the store Monday, explained what happened, and the manager got my information so that he could refund my money back into my card. I trusted hed do exactly what he said, specially since I got a refund receipt. It is now Wednesday and I still havent had a refund. This is completely unacceptable. I will never be going back and I strongly suggest anyone who orders from here knows exactly what theyre getting into.

I have eaten at Magnolia in Lewisville on several occasions and was impressed every time. Which is why I decided to buy a cake from them for my fiancees graduation. I ordered a red velvet cake, 8" double layer. It cost $25-$30...cant remember exactly. We got the cake home and I realized it was a little lopsided, not terribly, but it was noticeable. That wasnt a huge deal to me although I thought I had paid enough to get a cake that wasnt lopsided. My real disappointment came when I took a bite. The cream cheese icing was pretty good, but the cake itself was not. It was very dry and didnt really have much flavor. Long story short...My fiancee, her family and I all ate cake as planned, but in my mind it wasnt worth the money. Of course my future wife and her family didnt complain, but no one had more than one piece, and I still have half a cake sitting on my kitchen counter. In closing, their sandwiches are delicious and I havent had better frosted sugar cookies anywhere. Maybe I just got a bad cake...or maybe not.

The man working behind the register is cold and projects an attitude. He was much nicer to the white customers, but treated us differently which was very aggravating. The experience of having to encounter this man certainly ruined the experience. This cafe is located in the suburbs, close to the airport- so I was surprised to see that despite it being a diverse neighborhood, this man had the balls to treat his non-white customers as such. If you want a good experience, do not come here. A good food establishment is composed of not only good food but a good service, and for the money, though you may get adequately good food here, the poor service and attitude by the manager is not worth your trip here! Please go somewhere else.

I am the owner of BJs Event Planning & Decorating and a little too busy to plan or even cook for my son Richmonds Masquerade Graduation Party from UNT. I had tasted Savannah Cafe & Bakery harvest salad many times and loved it. So I decided to just have food catered for up to 40 people. I am so glad I did ...there was no stress and the food was the delicious and everyone keep saying how tender the chicken was and how amazing the salad was. The staff was so accommodating and friendly...I brought chaffing dishes inserts and huge glass bowls a week before the party and they came and set up all the food. It was a no hassle weekend...a special thank you to Zach for paying special attention to all the details.

Great service, great food! Had an opportunity to visit Savannah Cafe and Bakery. Its in the same plaza as Lewisville Costco, so very easy to locate. Place is big enough to accommodate parties and to cater for them. Tried a whole range of panini sandwiches, regular sandwiches, and desi dishes. Their paninis are very unique, as I dont know any other halal restaurant doing them. Their taste is very good and flavorful. I highly recommend them. Paratha rolls are also very delicious. Their sandwiches are nice for a quick bite, with many different flavors. Their desi food is for special order or catering for now, but it was very good. The karai chicken especially. All in all a great experience.

They ruined a gender reveal cake by calling and asking the father what color to put inside for a girl. The parents went to pick up the cake and it said on top that there was pink icing INSIDE (The mom had no clue what the gender was till that moment) I tried to reach out to the manager to see if there was anyway this could be prevented in the future and was hung up on and my phone number was then blocked. NEW PARENTS PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM HERE! THEY WILL SHOW NO REMORSE ABOUT RUINING A SPECIAL MOMENT. This manager needs to be retrained on how to deal with customers and difficult situations! NEVER once did he apologize for ruining this familys moment!

Man not only the food of this place is amazing, but especially the staff. I was the dummy who dropped his phone in the tiny space between the chair and wall and the owners family didnt think twice about helping us out. They didnt have to go that far but they did. Very nice customer service. Everyone there looked genuinely happy and they even gave us a complementary dish in addition to our original purchase. If anyone is looking for a place that bests Panera or just a great place for halal breakfast in general, you will be far from disappointed.

We just love Savannah Bakery! We were sad to lose the Hebron/Midway area location, but the one by Vista Ridge, though harder to get to, is almost exactly the same. Our favorites there are the cranberry chicken salad (not mayo-based, which is hard to find), turkey bacon panini, and the harvest salad. Theyve got some tasty sweets too, but oddly, thats not usually why we go. :) Their apricot tea is AMAZING. Definitely worth a visit if you havent been before! Theres bound to be something that appeals to everyone in your group.

I was in and out and they saved my day, I needed a fresh coconut cream pie and I was so short on time 25mins before they closed on a rainy Sunday afternoon, I walked with extreme high hopes "please please have something I can give to my sweetie on his birthday...."and boom 1 very fresh and yummy cream pie just ready to go home. Thank you guys so much they were polite, fast, fresh, quaint, and a awesome cafe that I will and would recommend everyone to goto. ☆☆☆☆☆ ♡♡♡♡♡ ♧♧♧♧♧
