I should have read the reviews!!! There was so much that went wrong? was bad? aaaweeful! I liked the chips & Salsa was great, we did get the bottom of the barrel in chips though - you know the small barely able to scoop the salsa size, we got a second basket becasue the waitress finally noticed. Appetizer was good. Meal OMG. the meat was not fullly cooked & pinkish, and had Large veins in it, hello trim the fat? Food tasted mainly unfresh. Everything was luke warm. Despite this we ate the other stuff on our plate (we were hungry) and then later that night BOTH got upset stomachs. They need a refresher on the temps, quality control, & cooking. Find a mexican food rest. near by & go study what they do. Seriously. Waitstaff was actually Very friendly but completely unaware. After reading the reviews...UH? are you guys going to fix some of this stuff? You either Really dont see it, dont want to or the cooks & wait staff are not continually reenforced about this & go back to doing what they want - because WOW the Same consistent bad reviews on the same issues since 2009!! Price point is ok, If it would have been good food I would have considered it a fair value.

Chili relleno was the worst Ive ever had or seen. The chili was almost nonexistent and totally Burnt. The slop they put on top was disgusting as well as yellow cheese. We ask for the waiter to take back, which he did...fine no issue there. We ordered 1/2 plate of nachos...he brings out a huge plate and I ask my wife...wow Id hate to see a full plate it was so much food. We go to pay bill...they charged for full plate of nachos...my wife ate less than half of plate mind u...we disputed the bill...manager comes out we explain issue of size...he then says we will adjust price...he then leans over and grabs remaining nacho plate and leaves...who does that?...wow...we will never go back there again...ever...met enchiladas plate plate was very very bland and the beans tasted as though they came from a can and rice was hard... One last note...relleno means stuffed...not thrown on top!...I will let all of my family that lives in NB, to drive the extra mile and go to mamacitas...way better food...In my opinion

I took guests to Adobe Cafe this week-end, and we waited a very long time for our food. We were talking and did not complain, but our waiter finally came by and said the kitchen had had a large order to get out before ours. When our food arrived, it was not even warm. None of it. RIce, beans, cold chicken enchiladas, soggy chimichangas. Either our order had been prepared and left sitting for 45 minutes or it was hurried and sent out unheated after the table of sixteen was served. Being too courteous, my guests did not tell me at the time how bad their food was. Later we decided we should have sent the entire mess back. Theyve lost me as a customer.

Salsa tasted like bleach, chips were the cheap store bought brand you bring to a potluck when you are forced to show up with at least 1 item. My shrimp were ok but the sauce was disgusting. Too much flour made it too thick and not enough cilantro and lime left it utterly tasteless. If you want Mexican this is NOT Mexican. If you want Tex Mex this place is just that, and good Tex Mex does exist but not here. Seriously, if you value where you spend your money and value the quality of your dining experience, go somewhere else. I gave 2 stars because the restaurant was the only thing open at 930pm and I was hungry.

Just went there today. Its pretty expensive for a mexican restaurant. The wait staff is nice. The hostess was super friendly when we walked in but gave me a super bad look on the way out. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Our waitress was running the bar and doing tables. She was pretty fast since she had all this other jobs to do. Would recomend. The dishes were put together very nicely but i did not like my dish. The salsa is very good. Chips are good. Queso is really really really good. Clean restaurant. All together nice place. Just dont like the prices and didnt like how the hostess looked at me leaving.

We have been going to Adobe for many years now, and your can sum it all up with Great Food (the Sizzlin Fajitas and Cheese Enchiladas are to die for!), and the wait-staff are very friendly; they treat you as if you were family. consistency is also very important, in over 10 years of going there, never had a bad experience in the quality of the food or courteousness of the people who work there. If I could give them a 10 star rating out of five, I would. The prices are extremely reasonable. a definitely "must" if in the mood for great Mexican food.

My wife and I, along with 2 couple friends, generally eat at Adobe every Saturday evening after church. We enjoy the company and the environment at Adobe. The staff, especially the management staff, go out of their way to ensure that our needs are met. And there is a good selection on the menu and the food is good. Took our grandchildren there tonight (12/27) and, as usual, the service was friendly and good. The service was also very good, with our waitress paying particular attention to the needs of our 8 and 6 year old grandsons.

Just wish that the drive thru customers were a little more catered to. Meaning if it takes me 20 minutes just to get to the ordering screen and then another 25 minutes to get my food is ridiculous. Like El Nopalito they have waiters and waitresses taking orders on all their drive thru customers. If yall did this yall would have a drive thru line that moves every couple of minutes. Also our food wouldnt be cold when we got home. In my opinion, we really like the food here just a hassle most times.#NBLOCAL

We were seated promptly, placed our order, and received it promptly. Everything was fabulous - tasty, hot, and everything on our orders were correct. We eat there relatively often - both inside and drive-through. Both the inside wait staff and the drive through have always been very polite and helpful. We have brought family and friends to dine with us; and they, too, enjoyed their meals. Thanks Adobe Café for exceptional dining experiences.

Extremely disappointing experience! The wait staff was courteous but the food was awful. Didnt taste fresh - leftovers from our refrigerator that are 3 days old taste better. The tortillas were burned, flavorless if you dont count the burned taste. Rice was good but only half a spoonful! Come on, folks...rice is cheap!! Perhaps a few drinks before dinner would have made it better but we wont try it again.

I had an awesome first experience! Free chips/salsa, awesome food, and friends staff. The food was a little pricey for some menu options, but I was glad the manager was willing to give me a military discount! Thank you so much! The waitress Debbie was awesome as well. She checked on us frequently, made sure our chips/salsa/drinks were refilled, and was VERY polite! I will be coming back! -A Satisfied Customer

Weve passed this place many times and finally decided to stop. Im SO glad we did! The service was GREAT!!!! The food was very tasty and didnt take long considering the restaurant was pretty full. The quesadillas were full and flavorful and our crispy tacos were perfect! We were very happy and would most definitely return. I love when restaurants take pride in service and quality and this one did just that.
