One day I decided to pick a direction and just drive and pick a random place for lunch. Thats how I ended up here. It would be an easy place to miss, but they seemed to be doing brisk business. I picked a random item off the menu, the Buffalo burgers and fries. While ordering I noticed one of the people working the grill was dressed in a US Postal Service uniform, and she was not using gloves. A little weird, but I ordered anyway. The burger came quickly. Im not sure what made it a "buffalo" burger, as it seemed like a cheeseburger with just a bunch of pickles and onions. The burger was adequate, but nothing special. I would imagine it is reliable, and theyre generous with toppings, so it could be worse. The fries were mediocre, but not atypical for a burger joint. Oh, that postal worker working the grill? As I was there she walked out of the kitchen with her food, and climbed into a mail truck, then took off. Im still not sure what happened there. Was she a customer, or...? Atmosphere appears to be going for icehouse, with random signs thrown in for good measure. Except they do not seem to serve alcohol, so thats a weird choice. Seating was ample, albeit dirty. Burger: 6/10 Speed: 9/10 Price: 6/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Perceived Hygienic Food Handling: 1/10

One of the best places to grab lunch in the industrial side of Gulfton/Sharpstown area or the Harwin strip of you want to get specific. Nothing absolutely amazing just really satisfying burgers (maybe it is the overabundance of butter on the bread or the fixins). Flat Iron Stove Top. Nothing flame broiled or grilled on an open flame unfortunately. But with the way they pan fry the patties it sears it well enough and keeps the juices in. Can get messy. Veggie options (garden burger and that kind of stuff). Price is easy. So, if you are in the area for lunch and not interested in Asian cuisine then this is a more than viable option. Family owned as well. Major +++ for me.

Gastronomically outstanding! If your looking for some good old fashioned fast food this is it. This type of food is what set the standard of all other things eaten!! Ordere your self a good old fashioned cheeseburger and fries to start and then and only then will you be one with the menu and your body will fill its need for food in your mouth and belly! I call on to all foodies to try this place and its going to be like Lays potato chips you wont be able have just one! So be aware of the best habit your about to pick up! This place is a little out of the way and in a seemingly odd location, but its one of the best burgers Ive had in Houston. It is always teeming with a large lunch crowd and everything is cooked fresh. Relatively quick and has a handful of menu items for the non-hamburger eater including chicken strips, grilled chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, etc. They have big burgers and combos for just $8. Its a nice chummy/bar atmosphere without actually being an old rundown, routy bar. If you want a burger, come here

Made our first visit today. Not much to look at from the outside, but very clean on the inside. Its an order at the counter then wait for your ticket number to be called kind of place. Had the Bacon Burger along with Sweet Potato Fries. Both were very good. Nice sized burger, crispy bacon, toasted bun. I thought the prices were in line with the quality/quantity. Its busy during the lunch hour. As I said, it was my first visit but Ill definitely go back.

Decor was sparse, but seating was plentiful. Place was deserted when I went in the early evening after work. (I guess they do more business at lunch.) Manager (owner?) was friendly. Burger was huge and tasted great. Fries were solid, too. Nice place.

Food was really good. I had the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings which were both excellent. My wife had the chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. Dont judge by the outside. Worth the visit.

This a little place to venture out to, when Harwin shopping has taken its toll. A nice hamburger shop and please ask about the fried mushrooms. Great fries and the burger is pretty good.
