I found Pizzeria Solario via a Google Map search for "free wi-fi restaurant". I arrived just after lunch. They do have free wi-fi, but it did require a code to log in. I was hoping for a quiet place to have lunch, catch up on e-mail and make a couple of calls. The place is really cool, but was a bad choice for my purpose today; loud music, very noisy, no good place to sit with my laptop (I am at the bar as I write this) and no available power outlets. That said, the salad that came with the lunch special I ordered was fresh and delicious. The pepperoni pizza was wonderful. A real artisan pie. Ill be back...but it will not be with a PC or during business hours and Ill be sitting outside on their expansive patio. Thumbs up to check it out for yourself.

I feel like Im in Seattle or Cambridge, MA when I walk into this coffee shop. Its really cute, very clean, comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly. The coffee here is amazing, fresh, and eco conscious!! I always get the ice mocha latte. They offer free wifi, free magazines to peruse, and comfy colorful booths and couches to sit in! I have all my meetings and meet up in the coffee shop. Every single person that Ive brought has really liked it as well. I give them a: 5 for being the best coffee shop in houston. 2 stars their coffee/limited pastry selection. 5 for the amazing staff that go above and beyond to make sure your beverage needs are met. 5 for the super nice patrons that dine at the coffee shop.

Ok where do I begin... lets start with Mr. Waiter, of which I have no idea what his name is... we are never greeted at all... just sit yourself....ok fine... I asked for a martini and his response is wow you said with such confidence... not knowing they dont serve it I asked why... his response was because we dont... ok smart-a $$...my friend orders a salad with chicken... words could not describe the look or taste of the chicken... so see for yourself... instead of the waiter saying he was sorry about our he wouldnt charge her... well he brought "fresh chicken" and still made her pay... oh no...i mean I could go on and on... I have it one star because there truffle cheese bread is good

Im picky about pizza being from New York, but Solario has some of the best Napoli style pizza in town. While it might not hit your craving if you are in the mood for a Brooklyn style slice, they are excellent. Prepared fresh and served hot. They also have some excellent other dishes. The Ragu pasta is a particular favorite, with braised short rib in the sauce making it exceptional. The Soffrito soup is also an excellent appetizer. Early in the week, Mondays and Tuesdays I think you can also get half priced wine, guaranteed to make a good meal great.

Decent wood fired pizza spot. I came here with Houston locals and my experience was not so good. Our pizzas were forgotten about and taking 40 minutes to get to us and the server pronounced things oddly. The server said it was going to take 10 minutes for the pizza to cook at 900 degrees. Something felt off about the estimate. The server had a lack of enthusiasm. There was a lot of employees for so little guests. The whole experience felt lack luster.

Delicious pizza; some of the best Ive ever had. We had the Margherita and the Sweet Sausage pizzas. I definitely plan to return for the margherita pizza. There was also a special for $2 pints, so that was another plus. The atmosphere was lovely; the service was great and our waiter was particularly helpful with the menu. Only drawback is the above average price tag for a student budget. Definitely plan to return again.

Ingredients tasted great but the crust was soggy. Apparently if you do a half and half pizza it will happen. Who knew... Didnt really want to eat it, take it home, or even pay for it. So after three beers, one half and half soggy pizza, and $45 with a tip later. I find myself at another pizza place 8 mins down the street to get a half and half crispy pizza and two beers for $25 with a tip. Oh well live and learn

Very slow wait, 20+ minutes for pizza. Pizza was good but this place is not deserving of 4 stars IMO. A customer had to leave early because of the long waiting time. The waiter who was serving 5+ tables at the same time gave the wrong table number for our meal. Seemed understaffed and no one is at the front to give you seating, you have to stand awkwardly at the front for someone to notice.

Traditional sit-down restaurant with an inviting patio and attentive service. The pizzas serve one very hungry person each. The pastas are rich, fresh, and savory. The food prices are all reasonable. The wine is significantly marked up, but theyll often provide you a taste of the by-the-glass options, making it unnecessary to splurge on uncertainty.

Its good wood fired pizza, probably top 3 I have found in this area of Houston. And the outdoor seating is great, pretty cool ambiance. But the last two times I have ordered take out, the order turned out to be wrong, however I was to be blamed, and still had to pay for it. Once maybe, but not twice. So probably best to dine in.

This place is AMAZING! Im from Chicago and know good pizza... This is the best pizza Ive had in Houston! Wood burning oven, nice decor, pleasant staff, and a half price wine bottle special on Mondays to top it off! Will definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone! Keep up the good work guys!

Food was good. Service...non existant. I didnt even know who it was, let alone someones name. Additional pizza ordered by waiter in passing. Water wasnt refilled till the check was brought and we asked. I felt if our party of 4 was completely invisible. My recommendation. ...order this to go.

Trendy, sharp lookin eatery with very good food and very good service. For the portion size of pasta, I thought this was a bit pricey. Corkage, at $8/bottle is also high, but the stemware was decent (better than most, for sure). We both had pasta, so cant comment on the pizza. steve

Great wood-oven pizza, definitely one of the best in Houston, decent wine collection, nice decor, relaxed ambience, and very nice & friendly staff. Tried their bruschetta, pepperoni pizza & picante pizza, all of which were great!

Their dishes have unique flavor combinations, along with delicious truffle cheese bread and gourmet pizzas, my favorite Sangria and a good wine selection. The waitstaff is always attentive and the ambiance is casual and fun.

The service is superb,Cactus and his crew do every thing .to make your stay a pleasant experience. Need to improve the pastry as it appears delicious and sumptuous but looks are deceiving. It is still a great coffee shop
