We went to IHOP on Halloween this year and had a very bad experience there. We ordered and got the deco pancake for my grandson and our drinks (no ice for some reason) pretty quick. Then 30 minutes.....45 min.......1hour.......1hr 15min still no food in sight...I looked around and nobody else had food either..just drinks. after we found our waitress, I asked to make our order to go since,my grandson was very ready to go........I guess your resturants arent kid friendly? no wi-fi,no kid friendly area........The waitress just kept saying that they were short handed and very busy....well, I say alot of wait people standing around and them having a great time on Halloween, but no food in sight for us or anyone else..our to go package was ready in less than 5 min.I had to track down a mgr to check us out but she was busy. The waiter went to her & got some card to ring my ticket up,when she came over and stood in front of me insisting for the card.He inturned said I was about to start cursing and I said " I am not going to curse I am hungry and tired of waiting and playing your games of making me wait...."we got home and the eggs were under cooked, the hashbrowns were burnt and Im still looking for my breakfast meats....... No, I and my daughter and grandson will never go back there again.there are plenty other places to go out to eat, that will treat their customers w/better service. Yes, I had to pay full price for our meal to go. $22.25 without drinks that we paid for....@ Georgetown,Texas IHOP.

Wow this place really needs to work on their customer service .I am not one to write a review but this is just unacceptable. All I am trying to do is ask a question to this location .I called earlier at 7:30 5 times and received no answer , I called again at 9 pm It took me 7 calls (not rings) until I was able to get some one one the phone. When the young girl answered all I could hear was her and im assuming her co workers talking with eachother. When she got on the phone I asked her if they were busy tonight..she said No..So I then asked so why did it take so long to answer my call..She answers an I QUOTE . "it has been a really rough night for us , the waiter and hostess do not know what they are doing and I have no managers here so I really dont know what is going on.we just had a party of 12 walk out " .In my head im thinking Where is the manager ?!! Whos running this place?!!.Who is making sure your cutomers are satisfied??!- I dont know who they are nor do I care but this place seriously needs some direction from someone. For the record the girl on the phone DID apologize but I will definitely drive the extra 12 miles to Austin to get my pancakes. If this is the type of service u offer then I do not even want to try the quality of food.NO THANK YOU! I WILL GLADLY TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE!

My partner and I have been eating at IHOP for a very long time. We usually go to the one in Round Rock on I-35, however tonight that one was closed due to remodeling, So, we went to this one. The outside and decor are actually very good, so no complaints there. However, at that point the good things ended. There was only one server at this time. We were seated and gave our orders, however the amount of time it took to get us our food and drinks took longer than usual. The mozzarella stick were then over-cooked, and the cheese was pretty much liquefied. My partner also had ordered the International Crepe Delight with the Strawberry Banana crepe. My partner received no bananas at all. I had ordered the cinna-stack pancakes, which were again overcooked, and the cinnabon filling was inconsistent. As we were getting our check, a father and daughter finally receiving their food, and the father brought to the server a complaint. The server then said that the new manager (who apparently could not cook) was cooking and that he too was cooking. So no line-cook, only one server, and everything wrong. I would not recommend this location to anyone and I will not be going back.

IHOP fan for many years been to them inside and outside the US; but this one took the title for the smelliest. With the exception of our server whom was cordial and smiled the rest of the staff...horrible. Waitress at the front told my wife that she couldnt sit her and our daughter because she was writing an order. When we asked another server for napkins she didnt even acknowledge us. Had to request to wipe our table again because it had a funk to it. My usual IHOPs rarely charge me extra for turkey meats (we dont eat pork) and this one charge for every slice of bacon. Last thing... I35 gas stations have cleaner restrooms than this IHOP. Wife upset and I was disappointed only my daughter left happy in her sweet innocence.

It smelled like pee when we walked in. We thought it might have been because we were close to the bathrooms, but when someone finally seated us (we were the only ones waiting to be seated and the place was almost empty, so why it took so long is beyond me), the smell seemed to permeate the whole restaurant to the point that it made me nauseous. We were going to wait until the server came to take our drink orders to tell her we were leaving, as a courtesy, but she took so long that we couldnt stand it anymore and left. I have been here before and the service was ok, not great, and the food was mediocre bordering on terrible, so this was IHOP of Georgetowns last strike. I would recommend going ANYWHERE else to eat.

There was toilet paper everywhere in the womens bathroom. And the table we were sat at wasnt thoroughly cleaned, there were wrappers from the last people who came before us and their crayons. The drinks took a little to come out, but the waitress was sweet whenever she brought them out. She brought an extra water out and even though that may not seem like a big deal but it was thoughtful. Although at first we felt as if she was looking at us weird. The iced vanilla coffee had a little too much vanilla at the bottom but was still good. Two of us ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and the other ordered the chicken fried steak. The food came out really fast, that was impressive.

Teenagers ought not be left in charge of businesses at night. Service was slow at best. After two opportunities for this franchise to "wow" my family, I will more than likely never return. Crepes that are rubbery, from being microwaved (not properly heated), and poor service (quick to put a check on my table). No water refill, coffee only refilled because I asked. No salt and pepper on table, and the dirty table that had been sitting there prior to our arrival. Personal conversations of a sexual nature taking place on the dining room floor while customers are waiting for food/eating is appalling. This was not my idea of a "best choice" to spend my money.

We waited for 39 minutes for eggs, bacon, and French toast. Two couples came after us and seated several minutes after us. Ive had this happened twice now. The first time we left after waiting for food for well over an hour. I only came back again because my wife wanted to come. Sadly to say when the food came out it was wrong... Customer service is horrible the waitress seemed irritated. I have to say the restaurant wasnt that busy either. So one would think simple scrambled eggs, stuff toast and sweet tea would be an easy thing to get right... Horrible
