Depends on the day/evening you are there and if the manager named Brent is working. He has terrible customer service skills and frequently speaks poorly about patrons that call in or walk in right before closing only becuase I have heard it myself. Last night was by far the reason we will never step foot in this location. We will drive to Round Rock and continue to eat there, unless something happens of course but considering we got to both frequently then I highly doubt the RR team will ever go wrong. It was my birthday dinner, we used Google to ensure the closing time. On Google for the Georgetown location is says 10:30pm for closing. Sounds great becuase it was 9 or 9:15 when we walked in. I ordered the shiner fish and chips, cup of chicken and dumplins for my son and a piece of cake. My husband didnt want anything at the time. After the order was placed the waiter was walked by and I yelled sir, he came over and I asked if we could add the blackened talapia plate for my husband as he was in the bathroom. He said um, I am not sure let me go ask my manager. Thought that was odd but I will explain that. He comes back and says ok that will be fine but the fish and chips were already prepared. Given how much of a poor customer service person the manager is I was actually in shock, The food then comes out, the talapia and dumplings. No shiner fish and chips. I asked the waiter where the fish and chips was, he stated he thought I was changing my order to the talapia. I said no that is for my husband. He said I will be right back. So what do I get? I get a basket with one of the pieces of fish missing becuase someone in the back ate it. So he tells me they are cooking another piece right now. First off, you are bringing out fish that is no longer warm but had other people breathing and eating off of it. Really? Not cool. Did I eat it.Nope, did it get taken off my bill? Nope. Gross is all I can say or think. A whole new order should have been placed. So we are there thinking they close at 10:30, not realizing that Google is wrong they close at 10, trust me we would never disrespect the hours of a restaraunt. Here is the icing on the cake, the lights shut off and the manager tells us they are closing and we need to get out. My son got scared. Not one time did anyone tell us they were closing, not one time did someone at least come by and say hey just so you know we are closing soon. Really? How hard is that. Not once, instead you yell at us to get out and shut off lights. Real professional. So this now brings up another time I was there with my son and we were at one of the samll booths in the middle second booth back and all I can hear is the manager Brent talking about how if someone comes in to eat right before they close he will refuse them. The other guy standing there says what if they call in an order? Brent said well they better call it in earlier if they want it otherwise we are not making it. Really? Karma kicked his butt becuase 5 mintues before closing three people came in to eat. Did they seat them, sure did. My point there is that you should not be talking poorly or treating your aptrons poorly as they are the reason you get a paycheck each week.

Went there yesterday to have dinner with my mom for her birthday... she loves their Chicken Fried Steak... service has always been great there from the staff, but there is always pleasant Georgetownians there as well. I had the Catfish Super Combo.... BOY LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS SUPER AWESOME! I would put it up against any other catfish establishment! Then when I asked for hot sauce and the waitress went in for the kill and walked out with Louisiana "Red Dot" Hot Sauce... WOOOOO (Ric Flair voice) if you all ever have a Cotton Patch Cafe car (convertible) and wanna drive by the other fish places to show off the Super Combo.... I would be honored to sit on the back and hold the plate as we rode by in theatrical slow motion scene! Bottomline... some of the best catfish I have had in a while..... had a great time and definitely coming back!

Terrible, everything. As soon as we sat down i had second thoughts about the palce, judging from the beer/drink selection, or lack of. also the inexperianced service, certainly not friendly and comfortable, which is what i would expect fomr a place only slightly over-priced. The food was over seasoned and undercooked. my girlfriend (persuaded me to stay) had the salmon, which was damn near raw in the middle,. i had the cajon something, which was throughly cooked, but over-seasoned. the "loaded potatoe had about a scoop full of cream with bacon pieces on top,. hardly loaded. no good, no beer selection, no liquor license, i hope your not looking for a drink. wouldnt advise it to anyone, i actually told a neighboring family, after confirming they were going out to eat, not to go to the cotton patch cafe.

I usually dont like to leave bad reviews unless it is truly warranted, however after receiving the same consistently poor, or as in my last case, no service, I wanted to leave some feedback. I was seated and wait for a server to take my drink order for about 15 minutes, even after flagging 2 different people down for service. As I continued to wait, two other groups were seated, and after more time passed, servers came by and took their orders. Since I still couldnt get a drink order in even after several attempts, I decided to leave. My past experiences had some poor service as well, but after receiving no service despite my best efforts during my last visit, I needed to leave feedback. Hopefully this place turns things around at some point.

We waited 45 mins tonight before appetizers. Then another 15 minutes before our meal arrived COLD. We had been to a basketball tournament and really wanted the food warmed up. Waitress did not check back with us, so we asked for the mgr. We met Kellan Brown who didnt even ask if we wanted food warmed up. He told us "you were lucky to get in. We had a line." we never saw a line and all the tables were not full. So Kellan really missed an opportunity to simply listen and warm up our food. Instead, his actions were so unexpectedly rude, I decided to share my experience. Mismanagement is rarely in just one area of a restaurant, so readers you have been warned.

Waited over an hour for our food. Ordered to go by phone and at the restaurant. Phone order recieved first. Twenty minutes later recieved second order. Then recieved the first order. Didnt take time to check orders befor we left. Chicken, chicken fried steak and fried , what little there were, were all over cooked and fried in old grease. Salads were hot from the first order recieved....this wasnt the first time at this location at having a bad experiance...not getting waited on is the usual....those times we just walked out... To many times wait staff arguing among each other....mom likes to go there so I go....

Went in for supper last night and was seated in Courtneys section. She was, without a doubt, the best server we have ever had there! She took our drink orders promptly, brought our food out promptly (and it was hot, not lukewarm as it has been a couple of times in the past), and kept our glasses filled. She was pleasant and had a smile on ger face as she took care of us and her other tables. A few of the other servers could take pointers from her as she was near perfect at doing her job! The bext time we go in for dinner, were going to make it a point to ask to be seated in her sextion again.
