The food was ok.I would say good but the waitress was a little rude and annoying and thats what makes the food go down bitter.the place is small and crowded,the tables for 2 are actually for one and the tables for 3or4 are actually for 2.The waitresses need to learn how to serve and be nice good or great.I just hope ya dont go threw what I did I just hate rude and poor service.3 stars is pushing it for this place.

Eh, mediocre food. Waited 40 minutes for a taco salad. The lady owner is ALWAYS nickle and diming and overcharging us. Make sure you pay attention when she rings you up. The only reason this place gets business is because its close to the plants and construction. The only good thing here is the Hippo breakfast taco. Its huge and inexpensive (surprisingly!).

Taco bell is a 5* compared to this wall paper on a plate with beans and dry rice. Had the Enchiladas Verde and I couldnt get past 1/2 of one. Worst Ive ever had! The tortilla chips had to be from a bag. Im from Texas, live in Idaho where Ive had way better. Not hard to please and really surprised to have this served in south Texas.

Good stuff!! This little place deserves some recognition for their great efforts! Ive been twice now, the food is great! Be ware: I found out this morning that the "tacos" are big! So dont order more than 2 or 3 lol This fisherman from Houston is thankful to have discovered this place :-)

The food was good and the waitress was nice. Food came out in order of who ordered first. I finished eating by the time the last person got their food. They got 3 peoples order of chicken wrong and did beef. All in all the service could use some improvement but the food was good.

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. The food is freshly prepared and not made in a micro wave, the food is hot and the plates are cold. Service is Impeccable, and patrons are met with a smile. Ive never had a bad trip to Maries thanks to Nadia and Isis.

Staff was great. Food was fast (arrived right before 5 on a Tuesday). Rice was a little bland and hubbys fajitas were slightly overcooked but the beans were good and I ate the Best Tamale Ive Ever Had!! Salsa was a bit spicy. Queso was delicious!

Nice Tex Mex and some of the cutest and sweetest waitress. Packed every time I have gone. Ask about their specialties. They will bring you something great. The plain old cheese enchiladas were correctly portioned for lunch.
