Great find. Interesting and tasty selection of wines from Dallas, France, Italy, Argentina/Chile and Dallas. Very good and unusual cheese selection, and other nibbles. They have quince paste which is yummy and unusual. Tons of funky comfy ambiance. A terrific date place. The prices are not cheap most of the wines are in the $12-15 a glass range, and the cheese and salami selections are $6/for each small serving. But. I will definitely be going again often.

Quiet, comfortable place to relax and enjoy a great glass of wine. Knowledgeable staff with indoor and outdoor seating (great fireplace). Alan knew his wines and had great suggestions off the menu that complemented the vino. The Sunday movie (Casablanca) was a welcome change from watching the Cowboys lose again.

A real credit to the neighborhood! Very nice wine selection and delicious food. Service was very friendly, ambiance was excellent. Some of the best mac-and-cheese my wife and I can remember, and were both mac-and-cheese aficionados.

The wine is consistently amazing and the food is average unless you splurge. Sandwiches were okay but the tapas appetizers were excellent. Chill atmosphere, clean tables, nice area, kind and informed servers. Never too crowded.

Was sad to see Cafe Lago go, but Urban Vines was a nice solid stand in that we have come to love. Light fare, great drinks and a friendly staff. Live music and a great spot for intimate events or happy hour.

What a wonderful surprise! This is a fabulous neighborhood oasis, great vino, beautiful patio with fireplace and fountain, friendly knowledgeable team, and good food. An East Dallas treasure!
