I have been eating at this restaurant for DECADES, since it was Casita Dominguez. I wanted to take my niece, who is visiting Dallas for the first time, to my favorite Mexican restaurant. Apparently, they have hired a live band to play on Saturday nights. As usual, the food was excellent, but the music was so loud we could barely hear each other speak; too much volume for such a small space. I still recommend Casita for its food, just dont go there on a Saturday night if you want to have a conversation with the person or people you are with. Two stars for obnoxiously loud music. If we could have actually talked to each other, I would give it 4 stars. I was very disappointed with the quality of our dining experience. This used to be a nice, low-key, and very pleasant restaurant.

Theres elderly man that works the front desk. He is extremely slow moving and has bad hearing. So whenever I call in my order over the phone during my 30 minute lunch, its always difficult. This gentleman has very bad customer service. He tell meni was to blame for the mixup for my order. I lost 20mins of my short lunch. The best the restaurant could do was to discount my "chicken enchiladas with chilli sauce " by 50%... Cost of my very short lunch? $6.....

Great service, atmosphere, and food! Dont let the outside fool you- its a nice-sized place inside. Having become used to Mexican restaurants in North Carolina I was hard-pressed to find similar restaurants in Texas until I came here. My only gripes are that they use cheddar instead of cojita cheese on the tacos and that the sweet tea is sometimes not as fresh as it could be.

This place is a gem. This is one of Dallas best kept secrets. The service was fantastic and the food is magnificent. I Iove the type of ground meat they use for their beef enchiladas. The best! This is true authentic Tex Mex. I also love the fact that the salsa chips were warm, thick but not too hard. Treat yourself and give this place a try! You will not be disappointed.

Service... bad. Food... sub-par. Margaritas... Ok. Just an over all bad experience. I was not impressed. 4 servers passed by us and never asked for our drink orders. We finally flagged someone down and she took our drink and food order. After that, we never saw her again. Food was bland and the margaritas were overpriced!!! Booooo!!!

Went there with a group of 11. We ordered queso and guacamole for appetizers and those were pretty good. I got spinach enchiladas which were okay and then got praline cheesecake for dessert which was amazing! Wasnt too big a fan of my enchiladas but everything else was pretty good. Service was quite timely.

I usually write silly things, but this was honestly the best Mexican food Ive had in a while. The chips were perfectly crisp, warm, and not too salty. The queso was different and unique. The fajita salad was perfect. Service was dynamically simple. Add this to your foodie itinerary.

Had a friend recommend it to me as a quiet place to go for a good meal and a drink. She was right. The service was excellent. My waitress was very attentive and on-the-ball. The margaritas were great and the food was quite good. I really enjoyed myself tonight.

Great service, amazing food! The place is small and quiet which I loved. The food is the best. UPDATE: Went back for a second time! It was for Mothers Day and they were very busy, but the service was still amazing and quick. The food was amazing as well.

Probably some of the best strip fajita steak on top of enchiladas I have ever had. I eat a lot of Tex-Mex but the seasonings were excellent on the fajita steak and the cheese was very fresh and just shredded tasting. Definitely going back again.

Love Casita! Especially when Norma Valles, the owner sings on Saturday evenings. Fun. And they take care of retired and current military the first Tuesday of every moonth. Nice to celebrate those men and women.
