Of course we all know the options for eating out. Option 1 is Fast Food like Mc Donalds, Jack in The Box, Wataburger, etc.. where food is packaged, delivered and prepared. I’m not saying that’s bad. Option 2 is ONE step up from Fast Food like Chilies, Friday’s, Red Robin, Applebee’s, etc where food is packaged, delivered and prepared. I’m not saying that’s bad either. Option 3 is a nice restaurant where food is delivered fresh each day and prepared by a chef. You know the places and they can be expensive but the food is always good. My wife and I drove past the hordes of people standing in line, waiting in the heat, praying to be seated at options 1 & 2 on a typical Friday. We were seated quickly at Trios. The food was great! I mean chef quality cooked by a real chef. What?!! In this place? Granted, the exterior can definitely put you off and if you can get past the dingy interior you will be handsomely rewarded. I’m not sure what gives with this place. It has a HUGE outside area and bar and a tiny inside dining area. Why? My wife and I actually drove up to the place, gave it a hard look, then drove off. The following week we forced ourselves to go inside and again we almost left. OK, I get it, the big outside bar is for the smokers! Thank YOU!! No smoke inside. If youre a fan of any chef TV show then you will definitely enjoy the food that comes out of this kitchen. You can tell by way things are cut and cooked. Sauces, gastrics, savichi, and the prices were low. Even the drink prices were very good! Oh I hate to tell people about a good place but these folks deserve some recognition. Good Food! .. dingy atmosphere. Drag yourself in there and try the food.

Went on a pleasant ( 76 and sunny ) Saturday afternoon. Food and waitstaff was excellent. I had the Fajitas, which were excellent, my wife had the salmon which was underwhelming. The Chef does a great job with the food, and the atmosphere is very nice when the weather is mild. Just like sitting on my back patio enjoying dinner. Two people, wine/beer, guac for starters, main dishes, and ice cream nachos for desert. $61 with no tip. ( I DID tip just saying ) if its hot, they do have tables inside ( like maybe 8 tables ) .

This used to be my favorite place to go in Cedar Hill.. unfortunately I havent been since January and apparently they reopened in March. I wouldnt waste your time on trying this place out now. The service was slow and everything on the menu is just bar food and very cheap. Hector the old chef, really made this place what it was before. And he is no longer there so I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone now. I was very disappointed since this use to be my favorite place and now Ill probably never return.

Hector Angeles has brought truly "outstanding" food to South Dallas County. He had experience from the Mansion and The Anatol in Dallas and is a "Celebrity Chef". It is really too bad the restaurant is such a secret. There is no other even close to the wonderful food from Trios. Hector can and would be an outstanding caterer for your wedding or party and can provide food at a wide range of prices. I can, without doubt, say that I would rather eat at Trios than any four star restaurant in Dallas.

Absolutely love this place. Nice relaxing atmosphere, with friendly staff, great food, and strong drinks!!! We came for the first time Sunday, and because we enjoyed it so, we then came back on Tuesday night. You can definitely tell all of the food is made with love!! We will definitely be back again. Also great place for a party or social gathering!! Job well done Manager/Owners .

Our Jeep Club celebrated there. I was shocked, but IMHO their 6 oz hamburger easily wins as the best tasting burger in Dallas. Noone else even comes close. I knew nothing about this place and was not expecting that. If I ever come out this way again, I will be stopping at Trios Grill.

It is a pitiful excuse for a restaurant. If you are thinking that you are going to be served a decent meal here, forget it. It is not at all like it used to be. Poor service and watered down drinks. Oh, and the menu was nothing but trashy bar food. We will not be going back.

I was going to be in the area and was looking for places to eat with my family. I came across this place on Google maps but once I read they charge for chips & salsa that was enough to steer me away. That should be a crime in a Texas "Mexican" restaurant! No thanks!

Well Hector is a frequent guest at the restaurant i work at and offered me a cars to try the food. I was not bothered about dropping an easy $40. Fantastic service, superb entrees, i will certainly bring my love back for a nice meal and a good beer

A friend showed me this local secret when I was visiting. Food and service were excellent (even some vegetarian options, which I was thankful for) and Id definitely be eating here more often if I didnt live 2000 miles away.

I cant understand why this place is so quiet. Its not tex-mex, it really is New American with a twist. Think lamb chops, bacon wrapped chicken, and just general deliciousness.
