A coffee bar that doesnt serve coffee. This used to be the very best coffee house in Arlington. Now? You cant even get coffee half the time. My wife and I have been going to this location since it was Mochalux. Quite frankly, Im sad that they decided to "update" the location. Theyve decided that theyre happier being an "eatery" than a coffee bar. The hours have become less attractive, going from later hours to only having later hours on some days of the week, and last night (A Friday) at 6PM we were told that they stopped serving coffee at 5! WTF? A coffee bar that doesnt serve coffee? My wife really liked the coffee at Mochalux, and liked the coffee even better at Savor. But when you cant even get coffee, its not exactly good, now is it? I gently teased my wife by asking her how that coffee was, when obviously there was no coffee, because they have such inane rules. The decor was warm and inviting. Now it looks like theyre trying to be an upscale Pho fusion joint or something. Instead of couches and a few tables, theyve put in picnic tables, and everything is white. It has none of the old coffee shop vibe. I ended up paying money for Starbucks because my wife really wanted a caramel macchiato. Not the best choice, but when a coffee bar decides its too good to serve coffee, one does what one needs to do. Oh, and Im pretty sure they no longer serve Boba, so go to the Boba house on Arkansas and 360 next to Pho 95.

I really love Savor Coffee Bar. This place is amazing. The Coffee - Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters is local and they use the Hidden City blend which is Amazing! Who doesnt want to buy their daily espresso at a coffee shop that support local. In addition - They have Almond Milk option that is made in house! You cant even get Almond Milk at the evil Starbucks and theirs is FRESH. I have had a vanilla latte from here multiple times, it is ALWAYS great. They have fresh made crepes that smell amazing too but I havent tried any yet. I was somewhat afraid to try this place because of the Vietnamese ties and food that it serves- I thought I dont know anything about Vietnamese food or coffee. but this is NOT a Vietnamese coffee house. They serve Pho - whatever that is - But they also serve AMAZING coffee. And the baristas are trained baristas - They are great! If you dont try them out-you are missing out. GREAT Coffee. My only complaint is the hours . I wish I could go there at night after work - have an espresso after dinner. Sit and relax. but they close at 3 PM on weekdays. Oh - and they play cool music in there. I was sitting there and I heard like violin music - then I realized that it was Bad Romance by Lady Gaga - but instrumental. Kind of like Vitamin String Quartet. Freaking awesome. GO HERE!

I came down to Grand Prarie to meet with a musician and singer for a film project. Starbucks is a staple, but I wanted to try something new; something more intimate and less cookie-cutter. I chose an almond latte with a single vanilla pump; my peers purchased a vietnamese-style, tofu po-boy and a smoothie. The music track with smooth jazz; aged gentlemen sipping espresso and greeting everyone that walked by. Large groups leaning in to speak one moment, as if the atmosphere demands it, leaning back in bursts of laughter the next. Two young people on a coffee date across a picnic table, their smiles smeared like foamed milk over their half-drunk, saucered cups. The calling of charming drink-names as well as their patrons that ordered them. They serve Vietnamese coffee, apparently, which Ill be coming back to try for the first time. The raised ceilings keep the sound and space open, while the at-home decor welcomes me like an old friend I havent seen in years. Quaint, delicious, and comfortable. I came on business; I stayed two hours longer for the space. Highly recommend.

I dont drink coffee or tea so I cant say if that side of the business is good or not, but the crepes... Meh. When I went they were out of ham, out of the pork for bear cat and Banh mi, out of eggs, pretty much out of everything to make any of the real entree crepes... So I asked what do you have? We have cheese and bacon ready and fruit so we can make a dessert crepe or The Big Cheese, was the reply. Thats all? Yep. Nah, thats okay, I really came here for food not a dessert. Thats fine, would you like to order a coffee or a drink. There was no recommended offer to what else they could offer in the line of food, so they really missed the mark on that side of the business, big time. BTW, thus was a Thursday at around 11 am, so they couldnt have used everything up during a lunch rush, they just didnt bother to keep stuff in stock to provide proper business.

Great atmosphere and the music is on point. Love the open layout and the large selection of seating. They use Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters and that is a huge plus, however, their barristers are amateur at best. My biggest complaint is that this place is trying to do too many things at once and perhaps two things that dont necessarily mix. The main problem with this spot is that on one hand they are a coffee shop and classic cafe, and on the other hand theyre a Vietnamese style restaurant. Unfortunate for their guests, those two smells do not mix well. Should they choose to focus on one aspect of their business I would think that they would do well. In fact, Arlington is in need of a great coffee spot since the only decent cafe you can find in this suburban wasteland is Starbucks.

Went here Sunday 8/22 to pick up a pound of coffee and they had a special running for a free latte with a pound of coffee. Heck yeah Ill go for that. This was my first time here but I was happy to see they use Oak Cliff hidden city for their espresso which is absolutely fantastic and the latte lived up to the name with subtle vanilla and fruit notes. There was no astringency that I have come to associate with the espresso of some mainstream coffee chains. They seem to be freshly opened as some customers where coming in saying they were happy to see the place reopened because they were loyal regulars to the place under the old name. I just moved to the area and I think I may become a regular myself if I can get my weekend treat of a delicious latte like I had that Sunday.

Every time I come here I get exactly what I order, the exact way I want it ordered. The staff is extraordinarily friendly, and their live events are usually well done, and in good taste. This place is perfect for study, meeting with friends, small business meetings, and just to get away from the clutter and noise of the city. The quality of the products blow Starbucks out of the water, and it is better priced as well! Id recommend the Cafe Dmonde (Iced or Hot) Or if you are a boba person the almond or honey dew milk tea are fantastic! Also I work here, but I was a customer first :D

Staff was very friendly and the environment is nice and quiet in the morning. My husband and I got coffee and breakfast here on a Sunday and it was delicious! Everything is made fresh at the time you order, so it isnt super fast service, but it is fresh and you can tell by the way it tastes! We got the flyboy sandwich and the bees knees crepes, and were not disappointed. For coffee we got the white thunder and a mocha. They were both great as well. We loved it and will be coming back for lunch or dinner some time. I cant wait to try the pho!!
