It was ok. The pasta and sauces are excellent, but I do not feel that the prices match the serving sizes. I ordered a side of pasta for $8 that turned out to be smaller than a childs pasta (would have been $5). Very annoying as I planned to share it with my toddler. I also ordered the caprese salad which was in the entree section under salads, next to chicken salads, Cobb, etc. this thing was placed in the section for a meal, not an appetizer. What I was brought barely qualified as an appetizer it was so small, also for $8!!! I paid $16 for such a small amount of food I had to fill up on dinner rolls, which were decidedly ordinary and brought out after the initial and delicious breadsticks (which took forever to arrive). The service was very poor, the interior decor odd and unfinished. Overall, would not recommend unless for takeout and if you are prepared to spend a lot of money on not a lot of food.

We stopped here just because it seems to be one of the few decent restaurants in the area. I walked in not expecting more than a fizolis type atmosphere but it turned out to be way better then something like Olive Garden. The prices were very affordable. Our server Melissa was very nice and attentive to everything that we needed. She made sure our special order for our toddler was taken care of. She walked by numerous time to check on us without even bothering us. Very hospitable. Its definitely the place to go for a date night or a family meal. The food was great and their wine selection was surprisingly well picked. We will be back.

My husband and our kids ate at Mirkos on a trip through Nashville. We ate several places, but this was a favorite! First of all, this restaurant was kid friendly, but not catered to kids. We still felt like adults and our kids were well accommodated. Their prices are TERRIFIC! My adult dinner with generous lump lobster was 12.xx. My kids ate ravioli with bolognese that was delicious! Peroni is on tap and the wine selection is pretty good! The restaurant was clean and ambiance was great! Dont let the fact that its tucked away in a shopping center fool you! Our waitress was excellent and we never felt like our kids were in the way

Everything started out well when we went in, then after we got seated the host told us the server would be right over after waiting for 15 minutes the host was the one who came to get our drinks when the waiter came over he seemed like he was high on something his first thing out of his mouth was asking what we would like to drink after we are ready had drinks… We gave him our order and he told us he would bring bread right out for us another 15 minutes went by and we hadnt seen him or gotten any bread so we just walked out horrible service which is a shame because it seems like they would have genuinely good food

We had a fine but very average experience. First off, very nice people which is the main reason I feel bad giving it a 3. Im rating a 3 because I really dont think this place deserves as high of a rating it has right now. I might give it a 4 just to be nice if it had a lower rating. The server was very nice but quite inexperienced. We ended up paying double for the kids food because they rang it up with chicken even though we didnt ask for it. The pasta is homemade and it was good, but the rest of what we had was nothing to write home about -- mushroom ravioli, Alfredo, and salmon salad.

We found this place unexpectedly while visiting from out of town. Imagine our surprise to realize that its probably the best Italian restaurant weve ever been to. My wife had the Sorrentina over Capellini while I had Carbonara over Spinach Fettucine. The dishes use fresh quality ingredients, freshly prepared, and in generous amounts. Quite simply, delicious. The Chocolate Cannolis were an outstanding finish. All reasonably priced. And lastly, our server Markey was friendly and attentive. Highly, highly recommended, I know well be back next time were in Nashville.

Was in Nashville over the weekend for an author event. Ate at Mirko on my way back home. Was hesitant because of its prolixity to the airport. I wanted an awesome meal before getting on the road, and preferred to go somewhere with more reviews, but we were on a time limit. Friend and I split an order of eggplant parm and alfredo. Absolutely delicious. Could definitely tell the pasta was homemade. The alfredo was rich but not too rich, and the eggplant was fried as I requested (it comes baked). Very delicious meal. Highly recommend.

This is the best Italian food Ive had in Nashville! All of it is very fresh and they make their pasta daily on-site! Simply amazing! Our family went there last night for the first time. After dining I remarked that it was my new favorite Italian restaurant. Our 11 year old responded that it is now his favorite restaurant. It isnt a cheap dinner but it is well worth it. Lunch prices are easier on the wallet and the portions are the same. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere - perfect for a date night.

Lemon Risotto with scallops. Flavor was great. There were only 3 scallops. The server said theyd had a lot of folks order so this is what was left...then came back and said the chef said they always only provide 3 scallops. So, these scallops were not large, having only 3 was really skimpy and to be honest disappointing. Overall the other meals were the similar - great flavor but skimpy on the shrimp in the scampi. The Chicken dish had plenty of chicken. So dont order seafood.

Best pasta in Nashville. The service staff is always really kind and recognizes us now. Their carbonara sauce is unbelievable. In fact, if I had to be buried with a food (which is sort of a weird thing to be forced to do) I would choose their Sausage, Sage & Apple Raviolis and Id have them carbonara that ish all the way up to my chin. Go now. And stop by Riverside Wine & Spirits afterwards, which competes with Frugal McDougal as the best customer service at a liquor store.

My daughter had the kids 4 cheese ravioli with balognese sauce, my son had Mac and cheese, and I got mushroom ravioli with funghi (mushroom/cream) sauce. The balognese sauce was the best ever. We couldnt get over it. The mushroom ravioli was also fantastic. (The m&c was good - but kind of generic/Velveeta style, great for kids) We didnt come to Nashville for the Italian but honestly Im so glad its what we got. Cute restaurant too.

From the outside, you may expect a fast-food Italian place. One look at the inside and the menu indicates otherwise. Choose your own pasta from a wide list, then choose a sauce from another great variety. There are also plenty of entrees from which to choose. They do serve alcohol. It is not necessarily a romantic place, but thats not to say it couldnt be. It is clean, and the service is excellent even when they are busy.

Hands down, one of the best meals Ive ever had! My husband and I have already discussed making another trip to Nashville just to enjoy dinner at Mirko again. You MUST try the Italian nachos! (forgive me for not recallling the proper name of this wonderful appetizer) Excellent service and wonderful pastas! We found you on a Google search and you well exceeded our expectations! Keep up the great work!
