Amazing! This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant, Its a shame I live 360 miles away. We were visiting the area and saw they had great reviews and were open to 11:00 so we stopped in for a late dinner. The food was amazing, both in quality and portion size. In addition to the traditional salsa they also brought our another dip which was made with refried beans and cheese sauce. I have never seen this at a Mexican restaurant...unless you were paying for it. My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla thinking it would be a good late night option and not too much. It was massive and, more importantly, very reasonably priced. Additionally, their service was top-notch. Everyone was eager to help and really made us feel welcome...even though it was close to closing time. If you have not checked this place out I HIGHLY suggest you do. Be aware though, GPS takes you to the wrong side of the highway. They need to get that fixed. They are across from Cracker Barrel. So if GPS takes you to a bunch of hotels, turn around and look for the Cracker Barrel sign. If you guys want to open a place in Grove City OH, contact me!

I enjoyed the welcoming friendly atmosphere & the food was great. I had authentic chicken taco soft shell & it was ok but not to my taste buds & the meat was PLENTIFUL overstuffed unlike any other establishment. I had a margarita on the rocks & it was delicious & they had 2 for 1 deal & I was buzzed & am NEVER buzzed off margaritas or darquiri type of drinks due to having A HIGH tolerance! It was delicious! The FREE chips, FREE cheese/bean dip (usually NOT FREE ELSEWHERE) & FREE SALSA (wasnt thick but good Flavor) were plentiful. My boyfriend had shrimp & beef (or steak) chimichanga tacos that were huge & delicious & I ate his guacamole which Ive NEVER LIKED but I DO NOW!! Price was excellent, atmosphere excellent, food Was great, service impeccable & the staff spoke Fluent English so no worries there! Im Def a fan & look forward to trying new things!

WOW!!!!! Really great food! Ive just moved here from DC and finding good, flavorful Mexican food is tough. this place is it! Watch out for the GIANT margaritas…they are powerful! The food is prepared well with fresh ingredients and the chef even places surprises like a nice piece of cooked cactus or fresh cilantro on your entree. This is definitely not the typical texmex restaurant that you get plain food and a pile of rice and beans. The menu is creative with items like carne alsada and a really nice special with seafood and several selections of meats all cooked together in a nice pottery dish…which keeps it hot throughout the meal. Its way more than a sports bar - its great food for the entire family. Clean bathrooms and service area…and the service is fast! Diane P.

One of the top two Mexican Restaurants in town! Free chips and salsa, and bean dip when you dine. There only 2 Mexican restaurants in town that give you free bean dip, that I know of. CHEAP $ PRICES, Large portions! We are treated like family here. Knowing basic Spanish will help with menu items, and communication to waiting staff if you have any special requests. Ie - extra or none of something. My favorite items are the 3 chicken tacos with soft corn tortillas. And all of all varieties of enchiladas. My wifes favorites are the fajitas. They also have a very large bowl with a little of every meat they offer, it is huge! It will feed a large family. It is only like $16, it is massive!

This is located in a strip center near the interstate. Ive eaten at several area Mexican restaurants and I typically get Enchiladas Rancheros. This was probably tied for having the most pork, however I was not particularly impressed with the flavor of the meat or how it was cooked and the cheese inside the enchilada was even bland. My date had some cold unmelted, cold cheese in her dish. Also, the salsa was very watered down and Ive had the bean and cheese dip they serve here at other places outside this area, and it tasted way better. Overall the benefits here are large portions and competitive prices. My dish was 8.50.

I cant get enough of Taco Boy. The absolute best guacamole dip this side of Texas. I ask for some fresh jalapenos and chop up in it. The best chicken soup I have ever had. Yes, chicken soup! Ask for their Mexican Sandwich and treat your children to a glass of Mexican Water, truly refreshing non-alcoholic beverage. Their Mexican dishes are as close to authentic Mexican food as I have ever had since living in San Diego. You will absolutely love these people that work there. They love what they do. I just heard they opened one up in Morristown, cant wait to visit them there as well.

Food: The food was fantastic. I always knew the slop on a plate you get at other Mexican restaurants was an Americanized version of Mexican food. I ordered a bunch of stuff off of Taco Boys authentic side of the menu. The beef cheek tacos were out of this world!! Service and atmosphere: very friendly service and vibrant atmosphere. My wife and son were big fans. I will definitely go back to watch nfl games and chow down on some real Mexican comfort food.

Love me some Taco Boy. The wait staff is excellent and very friendly. I saw the one review about the salsa and believe they probably got a bad batch. The salsa they serve now is some of the best in Knoxville. I like the fact that they have some authentic Mexican dishes on the menu, but the traditional choices are also very good. Overall value is excellent!

Without a doubt, some of the most delicious and authentic Mexican food you can find. Super-friendly folks and fast service! Cucko, the proprietor is probably one of the nicest guys in the business-makes you feel like youre among family! Side note: When the parking appears to be full there is actually more space in the back, so dont be deterred.
