We sat in line for about 45 minutes on Saturday evening to get ice cream. This seems to me, that they were understaffed. If you know that your weekend nights are going to be busier, then you should schedule accordingly. It does not make customers happy to sit in a line that long. The lady who took our order also seemed a little short with us. Customer service and experience is everything. Because of what we experienced tonight, we will sadly not be back for a while. We came not long after this location opened and had to wait in line, but we figured everyone was still getting acclimated to things, tonight proved they still dont have it together. When we left the drive thru cars were out on Kingston pike waiting. Ownership/management definitely needs to re-evaluate some things because in general, DQ is great!! We were so excited to have one in Knoxville, but theres some issues that need addressed.

Awful service. The blonde lady was so rude, it was a busy night but the staff werent concerned about the finished products. I asked for a buster bar blizzard with cold fudge (making sure to emphasize the cold fudge part). She gave me the buster bar blizzard and it was made with hot fudge and was already half melted by the time I got it. Then I asked for a lid so it didnt spill everywhere and she said no, even though i was staring right at the lids through the window... And didnt give me the other buster bar that i ordered. Overall, the blizzards were fine but the service was just terrible. They were just rude and frantic and I get being busy but you dont have to be a jerk to your customers.

This specific restaurant is severely lacking in appropriate staff. We have been 3 times. Each time we went, it was approx. 3:30pm, just as school let out. We went inside once and to the drive through twice. The 1 time we went inside, it was not crowded at all, no one in front of us inside to order, yet it was at least 5 minutes before anyone even began to prepare our 3 small blizzards. Staff wasnt working on drive through orders, they were just talking among themselves or on their phones. The drive through experiences were marginally better. I understand its a fast food joint, however there should be some standard of work ethic expected.

I wish I could give them a ZERO. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru line, I parked and went in to order two CONES with crunch dip. 15 minutes later I was told there is no crunch dip. I settled for sprinkles and was handle two small cones with sparse sprinkles. 35 minutes for substandard cones. I wish I could say this was just a bad day, however last weekend I was here with my husband and we had a very similar experience. Sad, I really love DQ products, but this service is dismal.

The service was acceptible but the inside manager really missed an opportunity. I needed to pay for my order inside and he told me he couldnt, but his five through girl was on the way with my order for him to get it fixed with a clean workaround. Would have been five stars of the manager was as eager to assist as his employee. A great example for those of us in leadership as to how we can learn from our subordinates!

I am highly disappointed with this Dairy Queen. Since they have opened they have ran out of various items, at one point they were out of sprinkles for three weeks. It has been a month and I come to get my sprinkle cone and they have ran out of sprinkles again giving me the bottom barrel and charging me the same amount for a half sprinkled cone. I will not be returning to this Dairy Queen ever again.

I love Dairy Queen and have been wishing Knoxville would get one for years. Lunch and dinner food is awesome and the ice cream is always amazing. Where this Dairy Queen falls short is breakfast. The breakfast food is not up to franchise standards. It is all very greasy and the eggs are not the beat fluffy yellow square variety on a sandwich I am used to but just a hard fried egg set on my sandwich.

Absolutely disgusting, bathrooms were a mess, a worker walked out right before then I go and walk in and the toilet is clogged with handfulls of toilet paper, the ground is wet and the trashbag is falling out. Then I got my blizzard, it was melted pouring out the side, and there was some chocolate sauce of some kind which is a mystery to me since I got an oreo blizzard. Very, very dissappointing

Terrible service with my birthday cake. They spelled my name completely wrong and forgot crucial parts to my cake and the workers didnt care when I pointed it out. I even ordered the cake 2 DAYS BEFORE and told the girl over the phone exactly what to put down. Ice cream is the only thing good there.. NOTHING ELSE. I will never rely on them for any cake ever again.

I am a current employee of this restaurant. I love my job. Its the best place Ive ever worked. I read the reviews from others in here and I appreciate the positive comments. :) We are a new store. We have only been open for about a month. I am very glad to see that other people are liking it. We really do our best to take care of our customers.

Really amazing deserts! Very nostalgic! Still a very new store with new staff so understand there will still be kinks to work out. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is a bit of an issue but that may also change with time as well as the long lines. Definitely worth stopping at, I mean come on, its a Dairy Queen back in Knoxville!

The banana split was made messy and not all the toppings on it, and wasnt all the good. The prices are to high for a small split. I could have bought better quality and more ice cream at Walmart for a cheaper price. And thats what im going to be doing from now on. Soooooo disappointed, Soooooo not worth the drive or price.

I frequent this location but sadly I will no longer be doing so. I was SO excited to finally be getting a dairy queen. But now its nothing but disappointment. I get told they do not have the stuff to make various blizzards or they are out of the food item I want. This happens way to many times.

Everyone was super friendly however the quality of my food for the price was sad. I got a 4 pc chicken strip meal 2 of them were the size of nuggets and super hard and the gravy was like old looking pudding. Toast was soaked in butter. Could not eat any of it and too far to drive back.
