I just had the most amazing palate pleasures that I hadnt had in a long time. I think im in love with this food. Its "the one";) I was taking a walk when I sensed the most mouthwatering aromas emanating from this restaurant. Since it was my cheat day, my curiosity won and I later came in. The salsa was the best Ive ever had. The tortillas tasted homemade. The little packet of homemade hot sauce was very good. The fajita rey dish was plentiful and words cannot begin to describe how delicious it was. I was very impressed. Simply delectable. The price was great. The restaurant itself looks fantastic. This place is far above any Nashville Mexican restaurant. They would all be a disappointment by comparison. The only downside is that tge staff seemed a bit rude. Not sure if maybe I caught them on a bad day. But definitely the best Mexican food Ive ever had. You must try it!

Are all the 5 star reviews from people that have never had a huge plate of super tasty, hot, real authentic Mexican food and great customer service?? I ate at Los Dos Potrillos in Littleton, CO a month ago ( amazingly good food and service), and it made this place look like a Taco Bell. Pros: It was colorful inside and "somewhat" clean and the prices are very cheap. Cons: The staff was "sort of" attentive I guess and that was on a rainy Sunday when they werent busy at all! The burrito I had was very bland. The proportions were average at best. Speedy Gonzales did not cook or deliver the food, thats for sure. We ran out of chips and it took the waiter about 10 minutes to check on us to get more. Needless to say I wont be returning, and would rather drive twice as far to get good Mexican food.

My family eats there a couple times a month. Always find the food excellent and the staff friendly and competent. Other reviewers that have found otherwise probably should go to some of the more expensive (but still inferior) Mexican restaurants in Nashville. Good people and good food.

I miss this place so much that Im in Alabama thinking about it right now & just had to look it up online. I havent lived in Gallatin, TN in over 4 years. Thats how awesome this places food is!
