Not what it used to be. The Publix at Concord Road and Nolensville used to be one of the friendliest and most convenient grocery stores in the area. However, customer service has really taken a turn for the worse in the past 5 years. Compared to other Publix locations, this store has some issues. When calling in orders to the deli or using online ordering, they get my order right at best 60% of the time. Im not just speaking with regard to a coupe of orders either. I have had orders completely lost, the wrong beat sliced, 2-3x the amount of cheese I requested and the wrong type, flower orders that didnt get made, cakes that didnt get baked..... the list goes on. Part of the issue seems to be a language barrier. There are plenty of folks working in this store that speak English - it bewilders me why the couple of employees that dont are the ones taking customer orders in the bakery and deli. News to management: If your employee isnt capable of working the cash register, then they shouldnt be taken down orders either. The good news is that Kroger across the street has better service and better prices although it is not as nice of a store. Whole Foods in Cool Springs has the nicest store in the county along with the best customer service around and isnt much more expensive than a Publix.

I dont know where they get the people that work here. I dont know if they find nice people or brainwash them back at the meat counter. EVERYONE speaks, everybody is helpful, everybody is knowledgeable. They dont have ton of sales crap in the aisles. My only issue with them is the grocery cart returns always seem to be in the wrong place in the parking lot.

After visiting several other Publix stores, I discovered that this Publix does not have a large selection. The staff, however, is very friendly and helpful. This is just a smaller Publix. Also, there is a lot of construction going on that makes the entrance a pain to get in and out of.

This Publix is a joy to shop in. Hands down the best customer service Ive ever received in a grocery store, or maybe anywhere. Its not hit or miss good service; its consistently excellent.
