I will begin by saying that our server was very sweet. My husband and I ordered the same meal (pot roast) only to find out twenty minutes later that only one was available, therefore I ordered another dish which was shrimp & Tilapia over a bed of angel hair pasta smothered in a butter sauce with spinach on the side. When my meal arrived I was a tad bit shocked because there were approx. five leaves of spinach on the plate and I am not kidding folks; five leaves of spinach. The Tilapia & shrimp were cooked beautifully but the pasta however was dry because there was no butter sauce. When I asked for more spinach, a healthy bowlful was provided without problem. When the check arrived our server apologized for the wait and showed my husband where they had taken off $5.00 for our troubles. The place had a down home feel and it was packed. Would we go back? No.

Disappointing, waitress waited on us, brought water ,food ,ticket ..never asked again if we wanted drink refills...when I got there is asked for a booth way in the back because a friend and I were going to reconnect and visit for a while..We also ate..will not go back for a long time...she did however ask numerous tables around us 3 or more times if they wanted refills...bad bad service

Has been good in the past but last week our food arrived 40 minutes after we placed our order and food was lukewarm. I mentioned it to the waitress and we did not receive a discount or an apology. We went to the wheel inn this week which is a great place where the food and service are more consistent not to mention the great prices for what you get.

the waitress was so rude! my eggs actually bounced off my plate, I asked for new ones and she got snotty brought them back and cooked them longer THE SAME EGGS, I didnt eat them and refused to pay! come to find out they microwave there eggs GROSS!!! POOR all around!

Service has really gone down hill. Used to eat there all the time, now not so much. Dirty dishes, overcooked food, and wait staff that doesnt pay attention to the customers.

Basic Perkins, though the staff is very warm and friendly. Its a comfort spot to go to with my grandpa, and there is always something good to eat!
