Worse experience Ive had with any bakery. I got a cake for a co workers birthday that costed $26, turns out there was mold on the bottom of the cake. I have attached images of the mold, it was on the bottom of the cake as well as black mold dots inside the cake. When I brought it back to this bakery two ladies stated that it was the cardboard and then when i stated the mold was in the cake too. They told me "oh the cake was burnt on the bottom", clearly it was furry black mold. When I asked for a refund she refused at first and then stated she ate a slice before and its fine.. I dont understand how she ate a slice when I had a full cake and she didnt eat a slice of what I brought back. I asked the two ladies for a refund and they refused, after stating there was mold they offered to give me partial refund still stating it was not and asked me to go back to my office and get the slices of cake I already cut off. I was fine with giving them the slices back but they still only would give a partial refund due to "taxes". Taxes are not $10+ . They took back the original receipt and gave me only partial refund. I attached pictures of the mold under the cake and inside of the cake. I hope this does not happen to anyone else and just posted this due to how rude their customer service is and was as I bought the cake.
