Kitchen staff was just very rude at Cheesesteak Factory. Its my all time favorite place in Surfside and they ticked me off enough that 3 of us may never go back..... my friends chicken cheesesteak didnt look like it had cheese on it at all, it was very dry compared to the other 2 sandwiches we got AND she requested mayonnaise so youd think it wouldnt be so dry.... She wasnt complaining at all, very polite about it, she went to the counter and told the young guy at the counter that she didnt get any cheese on her sandwich. The guy in the kitchen piped in, "its in there, its cooked in it" she politely said, Im sorry but there really doesnt seem to be any in it. So they reluctantly took it back, and this is where I got ticked off, loud enough where we could hear him the cook says "I dont make mistakes, Ive cooked here for 3 years, theres cheese in that damn sandwich shes crazy" ..... thats horrible customer service. You can say whatever you want but NOT where the customer can hear you! Im surprised I kept my cool. It was just VERY rude, VERY unprofessional, and completely uncalled for. I literally go here like once a week or every two weeks. Ive never experienced such disrespect. They come across as young punks that think theyre doing such a great job that they cant be touched, the attitudes the whole time we were there came across as disrespectful conceded punks! I will not go back there as long as they are there nor will I recommend anyone go there to only be treated that way. There was also another family in there that didnt like a sandwich they ordered. They werent complaining either just responded when asked how everything was...His response was "yes, thats what it is, everyone else likes it" customer service just SUCKS there now. Not sure whats going on but they need to get it together. They all 3 seemed to be unattended with no manager to keep them in-line... just a VERY disappointing experience and very let down. In case anyone reading this is anyone that matters or even cares to address it, it was Sunday 8/6/17 around 4-5pm.

What a great place to get cheesesteaks. You can call ahead and pick it up through the drive-thru or just walk in and order, even if youre taking it with you. I ordered a Hot Pepper with fries and a Reuben and took it with me. I liked the option of cherry peppers, banana peppers, or jalapeños. The food is great! The food is obviously fresh and they care about quality. Both the cheesesteak and the Reuben were top notch. No complaints at all! The fries were some the best Ive had in some time. Dont miss out on the pepper bar. It is also where condiments are, but the prize is actually the fact they have pickled peppers to add. Cherry peppers, banana peppers, jalapeño peppers again, with the added peperoncini.

The people here are always so friendly and helpful. I stop by for lunch or dinner often as it is close to my office as well as my home. I have been coming to the Cheesesteak Factory since the day they opened. They are on their 4th owners. The 4th time is definitely the charm in this case! The food is better than it has been since the original owner. It is delicious! They are back to GREAT QUALITY. Thank you, thank you! The menu has expanded and now includes some really great salads allowing me to visit and enjoy even on my "diet" days. I also LOVE the Hot Pastrami, the Chicken Cheesesteak and of course the classic Cheesesteak. I highly recommend a visit!!

Its so nice to eat home made food in this friendly setting. I can taste that there are no injections in the meat..Everything is hand carved, It makes such a difference in the quality of the meal!! This little place is a bangin sleeper cell!! Who knew that so much deliciousness could come out of an unassuming place!! I had the M. O. P. On a salad. I love that I can enjoy the steak and not have any carbs or gluten..and the home made buttermilk ranch...! Wowza.. It blew my mind ..I cant even!! DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OVER AND OVER!!!! ..Extremely happy customer here!! :):):)

First off, let’s get one thing straight: this isn’t “fast food”. The delightful husband and wife team that runs the Cheesesteak Factory (some of the friendliest proprietors you’ll ever encounter) wouldn’t be caught dead slinging the subpar “cuisine” found at your local dollar menu drive through. Instead, the food my family was served was freshly homemade and, quite simply, AMAZING. There was even plenty to choose from for my four-year-old son - who is a professional picky eater. If you’re looking for a return to the good old days of real food served by real people, look no further.

We went to the Cheesesteak Factory today after hearing some friends rave about how great the food was. Dusty and his crew did not disappoint!! Best cheesesteak Ive ever had!! It doesnt matter what part of the world your from, they can make it just the way you like it. He explained to us how fresh all the ingredients are and how they butcher their on steak in house. We will definitely be coming back every time I visit Myrtle Beach from now on!!

Been there several times, they have trouble with continuity the sandwiches are delicious but never the same. Home made potato chips are awesome. Took a super long time to get the order due to lack of staff. Cashier gentle man needs customer service training and while there the cooler doors were never shut plus the dining room tile was filthy and needs a good steam cleaning. Great place could be better with a professional team.

This is one of the best shops i have ever seem too. The staff as very friendly and happy to make conversation while you wait for your food. The food is fantastic and as a picky eater it made me want to try new things they had. I would recommend this small but cozy shop to anyone. This is on my top list and a must to go to when my family and I come to myrtle beach on vacation. It has an odd way of making you feel at home.

Being on vacation from Va. , our first choice of dining was a wide ranging seafood buffet and we found those! What I will remember about this nice vacation, foodwise... is having the best cheesesteak sandwich Ive ever had and then seeing the solar eclipse right after! Absolutely stellar afternoon! This place is the best sandwich shop in Surfside! Can we open a new one in Fredericksburg?

Absolutely delicious! Had the traditional cheesesteak with provolone , peppers, and onions. Thought I would get a 10 inch eat half tonight have the rest for lunch tomorrow. But no, ate every bite plus an order of the absolute best sweet potato fries I have ever tasted. I know we will sure go back and you need to try it. Melt in your mouth! Yum!!!!!

WOW! JUST WOW! Great food and great portions at a great price! I had the angus beef steak cheesesteak and from the first bite it was easy to see how they have won as many awards as they have! On our vacation there was nothing better than having a beach day followed by a fantastic dinner at The Cheesesteak Factory! 100% recommended!
