I go to this Panera all the time, have for a while and I have never had any issues until recently. Im normally not the type of person to write reviews but I am not happy. The past few times I have came the employees taking my order have been extremely rude but nothing comes close to what I experienced today. I walked up to the counter to order my food and the women taking it seemed to be in a very bad mood and but I smiled anyway and was polite. She rolled her eyes at me several times while I was ordering and she didnt even give me time to put my money in my wallet and I was also holding the tracker and my hands were full and I could tell she was getting annoyed because she was handing me my cup and I couldnt get it, as I said before my hands were full. I finally grabbed it, she gave me the dirtiest look when I walked away and as I was walking away I guess she thought I couldnt hear her but I was completely in shock by what I heard. She cussed me out under her breath. I sat there in shock and to be completely honest I was so disgusted by her attitude I debated on going up to the counter and getting my money back and leaving and spending it somewhere else with better service. I will not be coming back here anymore. I understand some people have bad days but that is no excuse to disrespect a customer like that.

I wish that I could post a picture of what I was served this morning. It was a to-go order, so I was out the door and out of luck by the time that I discovered the burnt offering to the god of scorched bagels that I was now tasked with eating. This place must have their toaster on the 8th ring of Hell setting, or perhaps theyve crossed wires with Burger King and are flame-broiling everything. In any case, I clearly did not have it my way, nor can I imagine this would be anyones way except apparently for the person who did this to a perfectly innocent bagel. Shame on Panera. Update: NO SWEET TEA??? What in the actual living hell, Panera? What do yall not understand about the fact that Southern women need sugar in order to stay pleasant? It is already hotter than Satans left armpit out here, and all yall have is unsweet and something youve put herbs or flowers in. You can take that "agave nectar" mess and shove it in your butt caves. I appreciate that yall are trying to make things healthier, but enough is enough with this.

I had the soup and salad combo, included chips, and I added a beverage. Came to $11 which I suppose is reasonable. Counter service was fine, restaurant was clean in spite of the crowd, and I thought the food was pretty good. I appreciate that the soup and the potato chips were not very salty. I appreciate Panera Bread looking out for my health in this way. But the Summer Corn Chowder could have been much improved with a few more spices for flavor. The Greek Salad was great and for two side dishes there was an adequate amount of food for my 165lb frame. Upon checking out, the server asked me to answer the question on the screen, which was, "Do you want to leave a tip?". Well, its counter service. Im just not accustomed to tipping at a place where I have to order at the counter and I find it embarrassing, or perhaps convicting, to say "No". Which I did. Overall, a good experience even if nothing more than one should expect from a semi-fast food restaurant.

I am a big fan of panera bread and that is the ONLY REASON it gets 3 stars! This one in rock hill, sc has made me very upset..first of all, I placed a to go order in the process of picking up my son some lunch from taco bell in hopes it would be ready when I got there...the girl on the phone was asking all kinds of questions and made me pay by card over the phone and by that time I was already there to pick it up...I go inside only to find out my order wasnt correct when I had already gotten back into my car with my son...this process took way too long with me hAving a young child and I shouldve just went in to order...30mins wasted when I could already been home eating and now my sons lunch is cold!!

If I could give zero stars I would. The service at this place is horrible. They never have enough soufflés and customers have to wait 30 minutes for the staff to make more. Customers who place their orders at the kiosk or online arrive at the counter to find that they must wait for their soufflé. Or they can ask for a refund from an inconsiderate manager. The manager gave a very weak apology for not having the product; not sincere at all.The manager took forever to handle the refund as he did not know how to work the register. Given the level of service and lack of product his skills will improve as he makes more and more refunds. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I love Panera Bread. But in the last year I feel like this location has really fallen off. Most of the time my order is wrong. I dont even want the free stupid pasty anymore. I just want my order to be correct. They tend to run out of some things, and substitute less than ideal things. Like bacon. When you cant put bacon strips on my sandwich, because you ran out, putting 10 little bacon bits isnt the same at all. Also, if you advertise something as a chicken avocado salad or sandwich, people DO expect to have SOME avocado in it, not just one little cube. Not just 1/20 of an avocado. Stop trying to save $ on ingredients and make your customers happy.

I came here at 9:30 on a Saturday night with my family 30 min before closing. My wife ordered the Greek salad....they were out of Greek salad dressing tonight. My son ordered chicken noodle soup and a ham and Swiss on rye......they were out of rye bread and out of chicken noodle soup....I ordered the French onion soup but they were out of that too. They did have turkey chili so I ordered that in a bread bowl..you guessed it - they were out of bread bowls. It actually got to the point where we had to ask them what DO you have available to eat here. The worst thing was it didnt seem to bother the clerk that they could not serve up half their menu items.

Came in here for dinner and had a horrible experience. The restaurant was incredibly dirty and litter was all over the floor. They ran out of bread bowls and most of the pastries. No selection to choose from of what was left. We came for bread bowl soup but could only get a cup of soup and it was room temperature. Our only choice was to pick a dirty table and wipe it off ourself next to an ice machine that wouldnt stop rattling. The staff were more distracted by their friends and family making social calls. They had no pride in their work or place of business on Dave Lyle Blvd.

Service was horrible; place was filthy-trash full, where dishes go, full; tables dirty, trash on floor. Even the yeah receptacles outside were overflowing. Out of soups and baguettes. David who took our order did not greet us or thank us. Noticed others were getting baguettes, I asked, told they were out..gentleman serviced after us, got a baguette. Soup that we did order was room temperature and grilled cheese was pressed on a one sided panini press...thats not a grilled cheese. Definitely will not go back to the Dave Lyle Rock Hill SC location. What a HUGE disappointment.
