When you cant afford to go to the local hibachi house Sakura, Hibachi Express isnt that bad of an option. They have a pretty good shrimp sauce (doesnt taste like 1000 island dressing or mayo) which compensates for its not so tasty rice if you decide mix the two. The chicken, steak, and shrimp are all pretty good although they use the same sweet sauce on all of them. The shrimp arent deveined which is kind of icky but still taste good. The chicken is tender and flavorful and the steak is a bit dry but still pretty taste. Veggies are 4 times out of 5 fresh and tasty. Its a great alternative for those on the go who want a little japan in their lives - specifically their bellies. Typically around $15.00 for two meals and the crab ragoon.

Used to eat here all the time..went in a few days ago after not going in a while. In the middle of me placing my order the rude woman at the counter ANSWERS THE PHONE while Im giving my order to her! I dont care how busy you may seem to be, if you are too busy to give me your undivided attention while Im ordering food from your restaurant, I wont order food. So I didnt. Walked out while she continued to take the order of someone over the phone! Unprofessional and wont be back.

Thought Id finally check this place out since it was close to my house. That was a mistake. They managed to mess up a simple order (I got beef instead of the teriyaki chicken I ordered), the beef was bland, the shrimp sauce tasted more like spicy mayonnaise, and the overall quality of the food was not worth the price. If you want decent hibachi food, this is not the place. The trip out to Newport for Koizumi Express is worth the extra gas to pass this place by.

Horrible I got the steak and shrimp hibachi with fried rice my whole order was $22 for me and my girlfriend got 4 little pieces of over cooked steak and over cooked chicken when I asked to get a remake the lady yelled at me then i asked for my money back she said she was calling the police for me being disruprive the fried rice was hard and the shrimp sauce tasted like pure mayonnaise so i dont recommend this place to anybody

Even though its a little cheaper than the Sake Express on Cherry Rd. the food is bad. Taste like chinese food. Rice is not good, and meat is always dry. The sauce is sour and taste mostly of mayo. I gave it three chances since its so close to home, but dont come here. The wait is long. Take your time and drive to Sake, its so much more wirth your money =)

I love this restaurant the food is amazing! Me and all of my friends have always had a great experience here. The food and service is very good this is most definitely a all time family favorite! You definitely get what you pay for. This is my favorite restaurant and this is the best Japanese place in Rockhill.

The food was entirely too salty. I took it back to the register, and explained to the lady that I didnt have time to wait on another order to be cooked. I asked if I could just have a refund, because I had only taken one bite of the food. She told me no refunds. Needless to say Ill never eat there again.

Paid over $20 for two steak and shrimp plates there was literally 10 pieces of meat in my container I called and they said they would do nothing about it because thats how much everyone gets never have k been to a habachi restaurant and received such little portions horrible service horrible food

My wife and I were one of the first ones to try Hibachi. (when they had no inside seating) and we fell in love. Too bad everyone now has come to the same realization, and it takes a little longer to get our food.(15mins instead of 5) I encourage everyone to try it. We love it.

The food at hibachi express is GREAT. Its probably the best hibachi Ive ever had. The restaurant is also VERY clean and beat every time I go in there. I highly recommend hibachi express if you have never experienced it you dont want to miss out.

Hibachi chicken was pretty good. Shrimp sauce was amazing. All three people in my group thought the water tasted very strange. The staff said they knew about it, but Coke (who supplies the machine) said it was normal. No way.
