We went there last year just before my daughters 2nd Bday so its not about Delhi-6 under previous owner. Food was good - I wouldnt say best I have ever tested in a while or anything like that. Now here are two things I didnt like and because of them I would never step back in. 1) This point first because it had to do with 2nd. My daughter was 1 year old at that time as I said shes going to be 2 next month. Still owner charged her for half buffet!! Where does that happen? 2) Like usual two naans were served to us (one each). When my wife requested another the guy said "Oh..OK well geeeet you another one!" Tone was like WTF you need another one for? You tell me again where does that happen? As I said in the end he charged us 2 1/2 and still he was having very hard on her heart to bring nan #3. If these things or stuff like that doesnt matter feel free to go. You may say I should have told them that my daughter was just 1 - hey its their job they should have asked me before charging. This I didnt like much but point # 2 was what got me.

Let me begin by saying the food was good. However, I feel as though the service and the cook staff is a little racist. To begin, I ordered vindalu, a very spicy curry dish. When I placed the order the waitress confirmed that I liked spicy food. Than immediately after this she asked "You like spicy?" Now I let this go but then things got worse. After taking roughly 10-15 minutes to bring us our tea. Seeing as we were the only guests this seemed like a long time. We placed our order for an appetizer and entree at the same time. Roughly 15 minutes after this a two people and a child, who appeared to be Indian came in. We waited another 45 minutes for our food. The couple who came in after us had been served everything they ordered and we still had to wait 10 minutes for our entrees to arrive. to me it appeared that our order was placed on the back burner until they were served. Kind of angering.

We are originally from India, and we go to an Indian restaurant second time only if it is really good and authentic when we go first time. And this is one place in 20 mile radius that I will go again after we went there last night. We liked the environment(music, nice agarbathi smell, decorations), Indian Kingfisher beer, lamb briyani which was outstanding, mixed plate of appetizer(non-veg samosa). My girls liked their indian food and lassies, who normally try to order chicken nuggets with fries when we go to some ethnic places-you know what I mean. The service was just outstanding, and we were served with what ever extras we were asked(except my daughter was trying to trick them to get her diet water!!) btw, I never went to Nilgiris after eating their goat for dinner--it was like eating a rubber duck floating in a can of oil!!

One thing I noticed about Indian restaurants is that the waiters are super attentive. I ordered Malai Palak Paneer and some dumplings. My friends ordered Lamb Seekh Kabob and Royal Lamb Corma. I know I did not name everything, but I dont know how to spell the name of the dishes correctly. Anyway, the food was really good. You are getting quality food that is very tasty. I recommend going here if you are looking for something more satisfying besides your typical fast foods and basic restaurants. Indian food is so flavorful. Give it a try.

We arrived a little early before they opened and it wasnt a problem. We were seated at one of the comfortable high-backed booths and courteously provided water. The buffet had a variety of delicious selections from a fresh house salad to perfectly cooked rice pudding (5 staRd for the rice pudding). I really enjoy mango lassi...this one was so smooth and thick like a milk shake. Most are thinned out and Ive had many! Id definitely come back to enjoy their offerings. Not too to spicy and very favorful.

We visit this restaurant because of lack of choice for Indian restaurants in frederick. We love indian food, but this pace is mediocre at best. One other competition is clay oven which is not much better. Value on buffet is ok, but otherwise it can get pretty pricey. I wish we had a choice of another indian restaurant, maybe where the new wegmans shopping area...anyway for the time being this is it. Usually after I eat at their buffet I feel full but thoroughly unsatisfied.

Food was great. My wife had the chicken korma and I the goat masala with plain and garlic naan bread. Staff was very friendly and were very attentive. We did have our 11 month old with us, and they had a high chair available, unfortunately only one of the three high chairs was in good shape. There was enough room in between tables that we could have just parked the stroller, which we will do next time. We will be back for the food again.

Delhi 6 is fantastic! I have enjoyed Indian Cuisine for many years and Frediericks Delhi 6 is right up there with the best. Last year I chose to go here for a first dinner date with a special woman, we are now engaged to be married. The staff bent over backwards to help me make special arrangements for that first date so that it would be memoriable. She and I still talk about it. Great food and great folks, you cant ask for more!

Id love to Give zero stars but thats not an option. Id also love to give a review on the actual food but they NEVER EVEN DELIVERED IT!!!!!!!!!! Furious and hungry to say the least. Never answered the phone when I called to ask where the hell my 30$ of food was. If my credit card is charged, legal actions will be taken. NEVER EVER ORDER DELIVERY IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY EAT.

Im not an expert on Indian food but I think this is very good food. The samosas are very good. Good food and a quiet place. Only issue I found is that for large groups, they seem a bit scattered ( not enough menus and food coming at random intervals)

Ive been to many Indian restaurants in several states, and Delhi 6 is my favorite! The food is great and always consistent. I most love the friendly and attentive staff and homey atmosphere - coming to Delhi 6 feels like coming home!

Good selection of commonly known Indian food. I have been here a couple of times and the service and ambiance is above average. Although the selection is not that vast, it is good enough to satisfy your Indian food craving.

There were several shrimp tails in the vegetarian dish; the waitress was arguing that it is not shrimp tail till I had her feel it and then she oh! My friend who has shell fish allergies almost died from this experience.

good food, good service and very friendly service. I love trying Indian restaurants in various cities around the country, this is one of the better ones. The service and the friendly environment makes it special.
