On March 28 I went thru the drive thru and ordered a tray with a shake. I pulled up and paid. After about 10 minutes I was handed my shake. After waiting another 10 minutes and seeing the guy that was running the window at the counter chatting with his friends I honked the horn. When he came to the window we had some words. He disappeared and then pretty much threw the food at me. I asked if he was the manager and he told me he was the acting manager. I asked for his name and he shut the window. After getting home I took a bite from the burger and then something made me look at the sandwich. It was very apparent that he spit on my sandwich, snot and all. I contacted Cook Out about this. They put me in contact with there insurance. I went through and told my story to them. All I wanted was the store manager to call me and discuss this. This never happened. All they cared about was that they were prepared for if I sued, they did not care about I now could of potentially caught some disease from them. If you would like to be treated like crap and potentially catch a disease, this is definitely the restaurant for you. tldr Drive thru person ignored me for 20 minutes, when I complained I received foot that was spit on. Contacted them and they did not care or ever have the manager call me.

I came to Cook Out for the first time expecting to enjoy quality char grilled and BBQ food. Im sorry to report that was not the case. The char grilled chicken was sloppily made with little wilted lettuce and a rather plain bun. The 3-piece chicken strips were adequate. The BBQ pulled pork was more like pork mush. Its consistency was more like a puree then pulled pork and dashed with Texas Pete sauce instead of offering real BBQ sauce options. Oh, and the BBQ didnt come with a bun either. There was sweet seasoned warm coleslaw and wet french fries with my plate. It looks like a leftover food for few days and it wasnt warm. Perhaps the best they offered were the milk shakes which seemed to be made from real ice cream and milk. Overall, I cant approve.Very disappointing.

I went on a Friday to get food for my family. My husband got a double burger with all fries and he literally only had 13 fries on his whole plate. I hate to have seen it if he had went for the 2nd entree. The girl at the window gave us our food and turned around to talk to someone and didnt even let us know if that was all of our food or have a nice night or anything. I thought they taught greetings at businesses guess not anymore.

Food is good and good prices, but the drive-thru is frustrating. Seems the people arent listening and always playing inside. I wont go here again. I just cant handle that type of customer service...seems to be a real issue up here though. I will send my husband instead. He has more patience with people who dont listen and act immature. I just druve off. Its ok though, got me some Taco Bell tonight instead

The prices are overly charged . For instance if you order a hot dog I believe one hot dog is $0.99 but if you add chili is a dollar $0.35 I think then if you want chili and cheese thats another $0.40 the way the menu reads is like you think that youre paying a dollar $0.45 for chili cheese hotdogs when actually youre paying $2 and something thats a little much

I love the chicken wrap. Husband, son and grandson got hamburgers. They were overcooked and had just a trace of mayo. Everyone has a bad day now and then. And the law requires them to cook meat to certain temp. So we have to be patient and specific about what we are ordering. Previous trips we very good especially Cook Out in Tuscaloosa Alabama! ROLL TIDE!

Worst food Ive ever had, couldnt eat any of it. Ordered 2 burger trays.. The burgers were burned beyond belief and ice cold, with the consistency of leather. Obviously they had been pre-cooked and sitting in a cooler all day. Fries ice cold, tea was literally water with sugar in it... Tea shouldnt be clear. This was absolutely gross and careless.

They messed up my food for the third time. Today I got my usual and they gave me someone elses food. I didnt realize that I got the wrong food until I got home. So I had to drive All they way back just for them to give me my food. Plus to top it off my Burger was crusty. Over cook. I AM DONE WITH COOK OUT!!!

Great food, my favorites, so far , are the hushpuppies...MUST TRY HUSHPUPPIES. .AWESOME.& JUST DIFFERENT WHEN YOU EAR TOO MUCH FAST FOOD...CHEESE BURGERS ARE ALSO GREAT...CANNOT BELIEVE THE COOK OUT IS OPEN SO MANY HOURS. .BUT IN CASE YA NEED GOOD FOOD, IN WEE MORNING HOURS, BEST PLACE! !

Cookout is the best if you are wanting some decent food for a good price. Always order the cookout tray, you get a entree, 2 sides, and your drink (and you can upgrade that drink to any kind of milkshake you want for like a dollar)!

The restaurant is clean. It has a great family atmosphere. Service is quick, efficient, and friendly. I love the broad menu selection, and the pricing/portion size ratio. If youve never been to Cook Out, youre missing out!

Wonderful place! The Cookout Tray is incredible with its entree, two sides, and drink which for a tad extra can be switched out for an amazing creat-your-own milkshake with their near limitless supply of flavors!

Not good tonight. Went through drive through. Came home and slaw cup had less than half of the cup full, maybe one bite. No phone number to call? Normally go inside and service has always been good.

Great burgers! A little disappointed in the sides, except for the fries. I never dined in, but it seemed like a large restaurant. The drive thru seems a bit tricky. Be cautious for other drivers.

Food is amazing here but the service is beyond slow. I sat at the drive thru for 40 minutes before I got my food then when I got my food they forgot part of my order so I had to wait even longer

It was pretty good and the food was good. The floor was made of that slippery material so I felt like I was going to fall any minute which distracted from the whole experience.

I was unable to eat the pulled pork it was do hot. The fries and hush puppies were burned. My husbands hamburger was burned. We are never going back.
