We were told numerous times we just had to try this restaurant. We were extremely disappointed. We both made 2-3 trips to the buffet bar. And every time, something we wanted was out, or still out from the first trip to the bar. What food we did get to try was bland and not that great. The beef stew barely had beef in it. And it took three trips to the bar, to even get any of it. The fried okra was okay. But still bland. The sweet tea wasnt even sweet. And they brought it out with ice after I asked for no ice. And it was pulling teeth to get a glass with no ice.

Went there today for lunch. Most of the food was cold and didnt taste all that pleasant. The Lima Beans were soured.The only "good" thing I ate was the fried chicken. Needless to say most of my food was not eaten. Definitely not worth the $15 a person. When we tried to address the manager about our complaints he was very rude and tried to rush us out the door so others couldnt hear what we were saying and practically called us liars. Dont waste your time or money coming here. We will not be back!

The restaurant was sold a few months ago, so what has been said about Grandmas cooking may not be valid today also the new owners are not honoring the Discount that was approved by the previous owners for the past few years including the 2014 fundraising card, which as new owners they have a right not to.

When in lunch time they,had roaches its ok to have roaches in your home but when you go out to eat,you dont what to dine with them cause if any thing you can dine with them at home and the people that go there they know they seen them too,god bless to anyone who eats there me and my family will not.

Came in at 615pm on a Saturday. Food dry and hard. No taste. Tea was sour. Waitress brought our first set of drinks then nothing else from her. Did not remove dishes or check back... will not be back

The food was under seasoned, they only offer tea, not much of a selection. Nothing was good except the mac and cheese, and I mean a little kid can make that.

Great down home cooking . Two of the friendliest waitresses you will ever meet. Maw maws pie is to die for. Loved it.
