It was not anything to just spectacular. It was good though. They were not busy at all we were the only table at one point. All of the employees were very sweet and smiling. With the exception of one when this older guy came in from Papa Johns and sat at the bar he nodded to an employee (tall white male wearing a light blue shirt and black hat) anyway he gave him the no of she is ready to order I was ordering a banana split after we had ate there. And the employees response to this man as he walked right by me was "when I am busy they can wait". I just gave him that look of but your not busy at all.... Just kinda think it was rude and not called for. I mean I wasnt rushing in fact I was waiting on another employee to serve me. So that is the reason I am giving it 3star. I am a cook and I may expect a little more out of servers than most.

Today My wife and my son decided to go get ice cream, Ive been hearing so much about Ye Ole Fashion so I decide to stop by and give it a try.Myself and another gentleman waiting in line 7min before any employee spoke and when the gentleman ask can we be served the Caucasian employee replied some else would serve you, the gentleman beside me replied the havent yet..The employee respond with a nasty look on his face and took the order with no customer service or class.This was my first and last time ever going and I wish I wouldve went to Basken Robins from,the start. The employees need to be train on customer service we came to far away for dispicable service..

I stopped by the drive thru on my way home today. Ive come here several times over the years and the service is great, food is consistently classic American. The drive thru is an experience in itself; its basically ordering from your car instead of walking in. While the car in front of me was waiting on their food, a waiter came outside and took my order and it was ready when I pulled up. My root beer float had a ton of yummy whipped cream on it and I even got another cup of root beer to pour over the float as I ate it. Fries as always were hot and delicious. This is a great spot for ice cream, too.

I always go on Mondays for half price burgers, the bacon cheeseburger has a ton of bacon on it and their patties are thick. Ive had a couple of different experiences regarding service, but if you have any issues let the staff know they always make it right. Today, for instance, we had ordered a banana split to eat there (which was incredible I totally recommend the extra wet walnuts) and burger to go. The burger to go must have been forgotten, but once we mentioned it they quickly made us the burger and an extra one for our trouble!

Absolutely disgusting I had a dagwood sandwich one for me on e for my fiance Between that and the ice cram it costed around 38$ The sandwiches were soo gross we almost vomited i still want to puke when i think about them My fiance is a Charleston native and she said a dagwood used to be a really good sandwich And that was more of a gagwood cheap slimey sandwich meat probably from save a lot Do not go there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like their ice cream selection and getting to make a milkshake out of any flavor (yum!). Their food seems to have gone down hill recently and doesnt have the same homemade flavor it once did. The last time I was here around dinner time, it got crowded fast and they werent prepared - had to drop pretty much everything in the fryer at once. Watching all of that go down, plus the quality of the food was a little disappointing. Maybe we caught them on an off-day.

The manger working tonight was VERY RUDE to both me and his co workers I didnt like how harsh and rudely he spoke to them.... I ordered a chicken salad and I asked for extra cheese and paid for it there was no extra cheese.... I asked the manager to please get me a side of cheese he said to me I didnt serve you ask whoever served you.....the young man who served me was very nice and helpful.... They wont get me or my companies business ever again

Stopped in with family of 5. A small cone is $4. You get 2 scoops, but that is still more than the price of a 1/2 gallon. They have 32 flavors to offer, but not all were in stock, which was annoying. So 4 of us got ice cream for a almost $18... They serve food as well, werent there to eat. My opinion is this is an overrated tourist trap. We found it with Google, to celebrate National Ive cream day. For the price, I wasnt impressed.

Ice was great until I found a peace of NAIL in my ice cream!!!!!! I couldnt believe it, it was so gross. Service was really bad they didnt even give us the money back they acted like they didnt care about. I meant come on is a nail!! We talked to the manager but she only said she could not refund my money and the onwer will contact us soon which that never happped. Never going back there that was the worse experience ever.

Ive been a fan of Ye old fashion ice cream cafe since I was a kid, when the owner Rod and his family supported Ice cream socials at the neighborhood pool. Family orientated, locally owned and supports the youth in the community. The menu ranges from burgers, dogs, salads, soups, Chilli fries and Reubens. Based on the amount of food you get, I would say its very affordable. Oh and the best Ice cream in town.

To clarify this would be. 3.5 starts if available. The plusses: Nice people Very Large portions The negatives: The place needs a severe cleaning They use only non dairy whip cream No soft serve. Styrofoam cups The atmosphere is not bad for an icecream shop but I think they can do better. I am sure by the line most people dont mind but others may appreciate my point of view.

Goodness gracious,,,I ordered a large 20 oz. Chocolate and Peanut Butter shake at the drive-thru total was 6.54$. Im familiar with how food cost works and all, but this is not a price in line with reality. One could buy a gallon of ice cream in a retail environment for less. I guess indulging oneself is not exclusive property of the customer at this establishment.

We were visiting Charleston this weekend and was actually on our way to another restaurant, when luckily we got stopped at the red light! After reading the signs outside we decided to stop here instead. Glad we did! It was delicious and you get SO MUCH food! We couldnt even finish everything. The customer service was amazing as well! Id definitely go back.

I order a bacon cheese burger and fries. they were kinder of burnt or cooked in old grease. they were dark. my burger was pretty but it had a long brown hair in it. I called and was offered a 10% discount. but I doubt if I will be going back. West Ashley Ye ole fashion. I ate half of my burger already before noticing the hair. I was pissed $12 down the drain
