This place was garbage. Do not waste your money here. Food: Literally the worst ramen Ive ever had. Tonkatsu broth: weak/flavorless. awful. Noodles: not freshly made. bad texture. Pork chasu: 1/2 of it was good. Other 1/2 was some very brown/grisly cut of meat that you would expect in a nice pig organ soup...not in a $15 bowl of ramen. I paid $15 for a bowl of broth and noodles (costs next to nothing)...so what Im paying for is the chasu...and yet 1/2 of it is scrap. Egg: would have tasted good if it wasnt still cold, having just been pulled out of the fridge. Other ingredients (mushroom, bamboo, ginger): none freshly made, just pulled out of a jar and plopped in my soup. Scallion: the only fresh thing in the soup...and yet there were literally only 3 tiny little slices of scallion. gotta hold back on those scallions, they are an expensive ingredient, really cut into the profit margin...smh. Experience: Bad first impression, the place is called Ippindo, they are obviously trying to rip-off the Ippudo name. Staff: all of them are Asian, which "makes sense" and "isnt racist" because this is an "authentic Japanese ramen restaurant"...no, they are all yelling at each other in Chinese. Upon receiving my order in the kitchen, the "chefs" decided to energize themselves by eating some take out pizza before preparing my soup.,

Tried all of the ramen dishes they had. The Amaru ramen was the best. The rest were mediocre. Pork broth soup was a bit watery. Actual pork was mediocre. Wasnt very flavorful or soft. Soft boiled egg had NO flavor. They need to step there game up or they wont last in the area with restaurants with excellent food. I would recommend you try it and I would only return for the one dish (Amaru ramen), but I will more times then not make the trip to Terakawa in Philadelphia which is single handedly the best place in the city. I had eaten at ever ramen place and Terakawa is the best by far.

My wife and I went, and we both left without eating much. The soft shell crab was fishy smelling and over fried. The spring roll was extremely bland. The Ramen we ordered I took one bite and did not eat any more. The meat in the Ramen looked as if it sat in the refrigerator a few days and they put it in the broth to moisten up. They saw that I did not eat and asked why and refunded the ramen off the check. Everything that Ramen should be, this was not. I have eaten Ramen in the city at a few different places I can say that we will not be returning to this place.

The foods taste just ok. We ordered Age Tofu, Katsu Don and Fukuoka Ramen. Age Tofu is good but the sauce is just not taste good., lack of some taste. Katsu Don chicken is very thin, egg is dried and place under the chicken ( I prefer the egg is placed on top and should be more tender, juicy). Fukuoka Ramen nothing stand up. The soup doesnt taste right as Japanese Ramen Soup.

Early days for this Wynnewood ramen house. Service was good, but broth was adequate - could use a bit more umami. Ordered the Hirata Buns (pork, 2 for $7), good not great. Fukuoka Beef and Ippindo (signature ramen), both were fine - beef was marinated wonderfully, but needed to be sliced a bit thinner. Will only improve with time.

Tonkatsu is flavorless and thin. Pork was tough and unappetizing . Ramen waterlogged and clumped in a knot. Takoyaki was pretty good but a little Bonita flake would be welcomed. Reluctant to give other entrees a try if the "draw" dish is so mediocre.

Meh, slightly below average ramen place. Its not terrible, but it was dissapointing. Noodles were not the right texture, broth was not that flavorful. Pork was just okay. If you want real ramen, youll have to go into Philly.

Sad to say but the instant ramen that I made in college has more flavor than their ramen bowls. Walk across the street, take the train to Chinatown, and go eat at Terakawa Ramen. One star for cleanliness and nice decor.

Average food, gyoza tasted from frozen, sauce was too sweet, stewed beef overcooked and too heavy with 5-spice. Flavors not really authentic and completely imbalanced.

Still working my way through the menu but I love everything so far! The sweet potato tempura is a favorite!

A little bland, but still good. Noodles were done correctly, broth was bland. Duck bun was delicious!

Good Ramen. Arrive before 7pm to beat crowds. Tempted to rate 5 stars to counter the one star reviews.

Meat tasted spoiled and smelled bad. Cook said it was fresh from this morning. Disappointed.
