Do you want to watch a basketball game or enjoy the nice summer weather at this advertised sports bar with a beach themed outdoor seating area? Too bad! I was denied entry tonight for wearing an Allen Iverson 76ers jersey. Apparently there is a policy banning entry for males wearing sleeveless shirts. Thanks a lot Philly area sports bar! I guess you hate the sixers and the answer! Keep your recreational basketball teams away from this establishment. You will be refused entry. Steer clear of this venue for March madness. There is one exception. Females with sleeveless shirts are welcome.

This is the quintessential Tavern with great tavern food and drinks served by the friendliest and most talented staff. Everything is priced just right and weekends bring the best of area dance bands. The atmosphere is just what you would expect for TVs showing sporting events at the large interior bar, as well as at the outside Deck Bar. And we cant avoid mentioning the upstairs bar ready to serve food and drink to accompany the many electronic games in a setting reminiscent of a pool hall. If youre in the area, this is a "must visit".

Band was FABULOUS. However, we had waited an hour to be seated for dinner after an hour we were told it was gonna be another hour before they could seat us. Really, (it isnt like your food was 5 stars)fortunately, 2 young hotesses heard us expressing our unhappiness and told the main hostess that there was plenty of tables upstairs!! UNBELIEVABLE... all that time wasted,waiting around and the food wasnt great. I dont think I would go back. ???maybe for just the entertainment . Rate the food a 3. Just bar food

Highly recommended for a catered party! I hosted my daughters baby shower on the deck and couldnt be happier. Dave and Kevin were very helpful in booking the event and the staff was very responsive to all of my requests while setting up and during the event, from providing additional tables and chairs, to refilling the buffet for late arriving guests. Great value for the reasonable price.

dont let the blond with glasses wait on you, I have been going to the Trappe Tavern for years and recently the service has greatly declined the entire staff is miserable. I will never spend another dime of my money in this place and you should not either. The only thing half decent in this place is the hot wings other than that everything else is below average.

Our local club goes to The Trappe for our club socials around 9pm. It is usually very lively with a younger crowd outside and regulars inside at the bar. We prefer the outside Tiki area for the breathing room, they have an area for every type of customer. The drinks are good and the food was standard bar fare. We will go back in the future.

The service was amazing! We went during "All You Can Eat Crab Legs" and yhe witress could not have been more attentive. She brought us more crab legs as we finished up our baskets... and refilled our drinks and gave us new napkins.... it was AWESOME! I am definitely back.

Had the crab legs last night and will not go back. Twenty five dollars each for soft non cracking crab that looked like they came out of the trash. The fries where the best thing about the meal. Spent one hundred dollars and still not full when I left.

For those who carry firearms legally, this is a anti-2nd amendment establishment. No signs posted, will just randomly tell you to leave. Baffling considering the historical connection between the town and our founding fathers.

We loved it! We ended up there and said lets try it and we were not disappointed. It is pub food but it was well done. The place was fairly well filled but worth the wait. We will go back.
