I give Hammerjaxx five stars because for the type of establishment it is, it deserves it. The atmosphere is that of bar eatery, its non smoking, which I love, the kind of place you go with your kids after fishing or on a Saturday night when you want to get wings and pizza. The pizza, in my opinion is amazing, for not having a pizza oven, these guys put out a most delicious pizza. I am a personal fan of the wings, they arent the traditional buffalo wings you get at Kellys Pub, they are tangy and sweet, I love them. The bar is huge and the eating areas are plenty. There are two pool tables that get felted yearly. They have pool league and a poker league. Its just a nice place if you arent looking for the fine dining experience.

Were from NJ on vacation. We ordered 3 large pies. Inside of the restaurant was scattered and unorganized. When we brought the pizza home, the cheese pies were covered in pools of orange grease. The boxes left thick grease on the table as well. We would all rather have Dominoes over this stuff. The pizza felt like it was microwaved (or simply pre-made) -- cheap jarred sauce, rubbery cheese, stiff crust.

I remember when this place was called the Chug-A-Lug ! The new owners have cleaned it up nicely. They opened up the center wall, redecorated & painted, made it non smoking, fixed up the deck and outdoor horseshoe picnic table area. I stop by in the afternoon. They are always very nice. I hear the foods good and will try it soon. Im just glad they made the place presentable again. Thank you !

Ive been here twice and have been pleased with the service and quality of food. Family friendly. Its definitely a small town atmosphere, which is what you should expect in the Poconos. I have not observed "cocky" bartenders as 2 other reviewers have. Give it a try!

Very bad service order a burger supposed to be well done and was pink. Finally got done eating and had to wait a good 20 minutes to get check. Ignored by bar tender and beer change daily

Went with a bug group of friends. Service was fast and friendly. Had a gyro, it was very good. The rest said the wings and burgers were very good.
