I am a return customer of over 100+ meals here and id like to say it is very uneasy in this place. The food is pretty on and off, depending on the cook but i wouldnt say either are good in my book. Consistently i have had bad waiters/waitresses and usually you are seated near others that are very loud. One time there was a guy blasting his phone in my fiancees ear i had them rearrange the seating. Ever since i always ask to be seated away from others its just easier that way. Considering its back to back youd think they would have a policy on the noise. I have had a few good servers and some average meals but for the price just make food at home. The owner stares at you oddly. The milkshakes are overpriced and crappy, their cakes are interesting but at 6$ a slice you can bet its not worth it. I do recommend their god father burger it was really good when i had it, happy days waffle special is decent. The person cleaning the bathroom left the toilet scrub on the sink and didnt clean it after which was pretty disguisting i must say.

The single star I give is for the food and one manager only. Was there last Sunday. Just moved to the area, 65, single diner, only needed one seat. Just one. They nicely placed me at a table on the East side. Crowded walk space two cant pass at the same time, tight table placement, but ok. Nice Buffett good food. Halfway through my meal they started prepping tables next to me and I heard Mgr say " party of 12". I offered up my table to make it possible and moved down one. Everyone was happy. Finished, just completed my bill, checking my GPS to determine where to go after, a worker comes up to me and tells me if I am to stay I must move to another table. I abruptly left and will not return. Many places to eat alone, where you and elders are respected. Its a "family bistro" and I dont have one. I dont belong there.

Was there today, we been going to this Diner for many years, but i have to say this Diner is changing, there must hired all new people its just not the same anymore, the Waitress we had today was not friendly at all and it is not the first time that we had Waitresses there what where not friendly in the last view months. Something changed at that Diner and the change is not for the bettet and also there music is little bit off, i like Oldies but the Oldies they play are just a little bit to old, there need to update the Oldies there playing lots of these songs are getting to me. Maybe its time to go to a different Diner. Most of there food is ok but it looks like there cutting back on the Senior menu. Its not as good anymore.

My soup (Italian Wedding) was good, bacon was tasty, and my wife enjoyed her french toast. My main dish, the veggie burger platter, was awful. Veggie burger...no bun. Paired with two disgusting stuffed grape leaves and leather tough pita. Avoid. Also, while well mannered our waitress was horrible. Between never having eaten the food (and therefore offering no recommendations when asked), screwing up the bill, and asking us to repeat ourselves (she wrote nothing down), the climax was her nearly dropping a heavy soup spoon on my babys head. She may have been new, but if so this place needs to update their training procedure.

We go to Happy Days when we want a good omelette... we love that they offer Egg Beaters! The asparagus omelette is one of our favs... as well as the veggie. great place for breakfast... or for late night food. we have gone to Happy Days after many concerts... so glad theyre open 24 hours. They have plenty of tvs, which usually have a disney movie on to keep kids entertained. the interior is cool with the nostalgic decor... and yes, I usually bring a sweater... its not freezing, but I find that most restaurants are never the temp I like. *shrug* Its good diner food. good coffee. not greasy.

My love and I went to dinner last night. Food took a while but was good. After the food arrived we noticed a man staring at us. My love was upset about this and when the check arrived my love asked the waiter who he is. He was told the person staring is the cook. My love expressed his displeasure to the waiter at us being stared at. The waiter apologized and asked if this would keep us from coming back. When my love said no he called us gentlemen. An older gentleman who looked like he is the owner was beside the waiter and just glared at us. LGBTQ Not Welcome should be on the font door.

Our waitress, Miss Angi, never introduced herself to start out the evening. she never came around to see if anything needed to be changed or if anything was good when in fact she got my order wrong, she would talk to workers and we would watch and wait for her to pick up our check because we needed to leave to meet with someone within 30 minutes. and when my card only let me take a certain amount out I gave her a $5 and she didnt give me the correct change!! Then she left and talked to workers again who were counting all their money they made in tips in public!!

I LOVE this place! Ive been going with my husband for years. Their portions are so big that they can sometimes give you three meals out of it! I have never had troubles with anyone in the staff, no matter who I go with, or how goofy we get. The breakfast buffet is delicious, warm, and with plenty of choices. Its a really family friendly atmosphere as well.

I love Happy Days! I eat there a lot and have always had friendly waitstaff and have no complaints about their food. I love diners and diner food and this is very good diner food -- cant go wrong with breakfast...and Im fond of their pierogies. The food isnt fancy, its a diner -- you want organic lamb with chevre and fresh beets, go somewhere else.

Nice place to get a quick meal. Serves breakfast all day and has a pretty extensive menu. Service is always quick and friendly. Not recommend for quiet conversations . Due to the 50s theme there is usually loud music playing and a television in every corner of the restaurant. Conveniently located . Plenty of parking.

Food is always great whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner! You definitely get your moneys worth! The service is great! 1950s setting is always a great place to sit and dine! Along with the fifties music! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to a diner thats open twenty four hours!

Low prices but very generous portions. I never ordered something I did not like. I love their hot sandwiches and grillers. They also have very good chicken pot pie. I never ordered pancakes but Ive heard very good things about them. Happy Days is my favorite lunch place in Downingtown / Thorndale.

Great diner food. The breakfast is their best food, but their Mac n Crab is a great deal and so tasty! When I first tried this place about a year about it was rather ordinary, but it has really blossomed into my go to diner in the area. Highly recommend for an inexpensive and familiar meal.
