After a long & exhausting day at the outlets my husband & I set out to explore something other than the usual steak, ribs & seafood dinners. We had been to The Tannersville Inn and also The Smugglers Cove. Both good establishments. But it was late & we didnt feel up to a huge & heavy meal. So it was that while scanning the area we spotted this tiny little pizza joint nestled behind the Smugglers Cove parking lot. Lo & behold we decided to order a pizza to go. Well, when my husband came back to the car with this huge pizza box, I couldnt help but to reach over & peek inside. This pizza was so wonderfully aromatic that we chose to park & eat it right there & then. No plates, no utensils, just bare knuckles clashing while trying to beat each other to the next slice. Sort of Neanderthal. My husbands grunts of delight reminded me of Tim The Tool Man. Of course if it wasnt that Im a lady, I would had clobbered him over the head with a cave mans club just like Carol Burnett clobbered Tim Conway in her Cave Woman episode just to keep him from hogging up the whole pie. Needless to say, we grabbed, tugged & playfully shoved each other until nothing but the wax paper remained. All the while laughing & giggling like little school age kids. This was by far the most fun we had eating a meal. The pizza was bursting with flavor. Lots of perfectly cooked spinach, slivers & slivers of tasty pepperoni and tender juicy strips of grilled chicken. Were both ex-military & well traveled professionals, though you would not had believed it by the way we were carrying on that night. But anyway, whoever says that this is not the airiest, most perfectly prepared pizza they have ever tasted has no taste buds. We live in Jersey where pizza joints fill almost every square inch of the state. So we know our pizza. Listen, do yourself a favor & go try it for yourself. If you dont like it, listen to me carefully; (subliminal message to follow). Go out onto the parking lot, rip your shirt off, take a high propelled dive into the adjoining pond & while you happen to be up in the air yelling " Im King of The World" fill your indiscriminate beak with fat juicy mosquitos instead. Mangia stunad!

Service is as disgusting as the lousy sauce they add to the pizza. Ordered a large pizza from some guy who seem like the manager or owner. He then told me its 7.99 special. Then he turn around and gave me a small pizza. I know he was lying cause if its a special why is the price on the wall that hes showing me (after I complain) the same as the small. I asked if I could pay the difference for the large, he said no, he dont want to get stuck with a pizza. While hes talking and carrying on to justify his bad decision I walked out. What a bad decision. Now he lost a customer for life just to save what cost him like $2 bucks. Would have been better if he told me the correct price in the first place instead of his bait and switch.

This place should hang up their "Italian" want to be menu and leave the food business...ordered a chicken parm (came in a tin in which it was cooked in, with a day old chicken tender cut up) side of meatballs (image attached - no sauce and most likely frozen and microwaved) and chicken tenders, with the smallest ever side of sauce...please close your doors and dont call yourself an Italian restaurant...doesnt even deserve 1 star quite honestly! If this was delivered back home (east Jersey) this would be sent back in person and thrown at the chef. Ive added images of what my food should have looked like, which Ive gotten at various other "Italian" establishments.

We have ordered from these guys over a dozen times. Pizza sauce is bland and they use a ton of it. Way too much sauce, not nearly enough cheese. They refused to deliver tonight due to "not having enough drivers" to drive to a hotel on their normal route. We overheard the drivers complete ignorance of where the hotel even was. Well that was one of three stories we heard. The manager on duty was even less help. Believe the manager Rich doesnt care very much for the quality of his pies nor proper customer service. Skip it, Franks Pizza is the way to go in the Poconos.

Had to write a review because I read them before picking this spot. Anyone that says this is like New York Pizza either has to have their head examanined or clearly never been to NY. The ceasar salad was just romaine in a bowl the crotons and dressing came on the side in a bag and the chicken in it looked like cat food. The pizza was straight garbage. People say its like dominos well thats an insult to Dominos. Not even edible but thats what I get ordered pizza in PA thats my mistake. Very pricey as well $30 down the drain.

I ordered 2 Strombolis to be delivered to my house after waiting 2 hours i decided to call them and see whats going on but they stated the delivery driver was outside my house knocking and ringing my door bell while trying to call my phone but i was home and my dog would of started barking immediately. When i was on the phone with the manager he told me not to buy any food from vocellis anymore and didnt let me explain the situation.

Horrible delivery .. went on vacation to the Poconos ordered from this Resturant they said the food would take a half an hour it ended up taking two hours when delivery guy came he brought the wrong order took my money left then the manager had to come drop my food for me and didnt bring any change. Best part of the story is I only ordered two cesar salad and it took that long.

People who only visit dont get how good the food is I can agree on the things said about delivery its kind of slow. Over all good food, not to much space but, has nice decor. If in the area I would definitely try. People just are to harsh on it, there a small food establishment and arent very popular. Im just saying that I personally think it is a nice place.

Trash pizza. Trash service. The sizes are small but yet its the most expensive pizza around the area? It would be acceptable if the food was even good. When the pizza was delivered over and hour and half late the driver was completely rude. Then when I calmly called the store the "manger" was completely disrespectful. If i could give it 0 stars i would.

Well. We stayed in Poconos, and decided to order pizza, buffalo chicken wings and soda. Let me tell you something: out of entire order soda was drinkable. Pizza was tasteless and too thick, that it didnt even cooked through and wings were so terrible, that it was impossible to eat. The worst food ever.

Ordered three pizzas for delivery....good phone service, quick delivery. However, this pizza is probably in my top 3 of grossest things Ive ever eaten. Major bummer. We also put the leftovers in our refrigerator + the entire kitchen stinks. So much for awesome, day old pizza.
