Whoa baby, this was good West Indian food! We went to get it first time we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and were disappointed to see there was no seating inside, take out only. This time we planned for it. We ordered almost everything they had at the moment: Curry Goat, Jerk Chicken, Oxtail, Fried Whiting (with plantain fries), roti, mac & cheese, okra (aka "ochroes"), beef patties, and maybe some more Im forgetting. Everything was delicious! We felt it was the best weve had. The stars were the oxtail, roti, and beef patties. If the beef patties arent homemade, they sure taste it. Not the standard Golden Krust variety. Theyre quite spicy (with a heat that builds over time) and nicely flaky. The roti is flaky, moist, and huge. We got three and couldnt finish them with eight people (granted, there was lots of other food). We also think the roti was made with lard, so that helps. And then there was the oxtail, holy moly. It was powerfully good: sweet, cinnamon-y, falling off the bone. Perfect oxtail. The large dishes were all served over fantastic rice and beans, with cabbage, and fried plantains. The plantains were funny, because each dish only had two small pieces, they were tasty, but not enough. That was made up for by the massive serving of rice & beans. In each dish we were impressed by how the rice picked up the sauce from what was on top. The only disappointed part was the delivery. Granted it was a snowy night, but Caricom is right in front of Great Wolf Lodge, after an hour of no delivery, we called for an update, and were told 15 minutes. It took another 35 minutes for a total of almost 1 hour and 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Thats kind of ridiculous. The people who work there are extremely friendly. Next time were in the area, well definitely have this again! (but well order much earlier)

Ok so all those saying this place is fake are just angry because of a bad experience. Second its a locally owned shop who does by the way except credit card payment not just cash. Third the menu thing a pet peeve of mine but some items went up because they are expensive to purchase not because of who you are. They buy locally so if the price goes up in the grocery store guess what the menu price will go up too. The price of the food is listed inside right by the showcase for those who want to know. You have 2 options medium and large except for when you want oxtails there is only one size. Now the food is a blend of the Caribbean not just one spot in particular. You will get Jamaica the West Indies etc... If you can handle spicy food this place is for you. The food is delicious so if youre feeling curry stop by. I always enjoy my meal from here!

Note, all good reviews are for previous owner. New owner dont even print menu. This place is fake and cheat to the customers on the price. The food is dark and over cooked, hope you dont get sick with their food. I personally have 2 bites and have to throw the rest to trash can, and I paid $20 for this worst dish in my life. The menu you found online will be 50% more than what you will be end up paying. They will tell you a good story that the menu you found online is outdated and they dont know how to update the price online. And this place has no menu, seem like they dont want you to know the price so they can charge you depend on who you are. And they accept cash only, perfect way to cheat on IRS. I have reported them to local customer affair. Be aware and stay away. Pocono is perfect place to cheat.

sign is REALLY small so you might miss it going by. my bf went for lunch so it was around 130 pm ish. no seating so you must take out or eat in your car. we opted for the car. when we went, the oxtail wasnt ready yet. so i ordered the jerk chicken and my bf got the curried goat. she also let us try a sample of the short ribs, which are prepared the same way as the oxtail. i ordered the short ribs also so that id had something for lunch at work. All three are amazingly good. if you cant handle any spice, dont eat these three dishes. theyre all at least a little spicy. bold and delicious flavors. big portions. wish there was a little more vegetable and less rice though but thats just my preference. i couldnt eat the whole thing. next time i come to the poconos, ill def try and eat again.

I am originally from NY and I miss all the jamaican restaurants and food there. So I went into this restaurant looking for an oxtail dinner. They didnt have any oxtails so the gentleman encouraged me to try the beef shank and I did. I have to say this is my new favorite restaurant!!! The beef shank was delicious and I was able to break it up with a fork because it was so tender. The portion sizes are also more than anywhere else. Anyone who knows me knows I am very particular and critical when it comes to eating out so if I am recommending you try this restaurant it must be good. Its also very clean and the staff is very pleasant..KUDOS TO THE COOKS WHOEVER THEY ARE!!!

Noticed this place just opened and I love jamaican food so I checked this place out. The owner was very nice. We ordered the curry chicken, stewed chicken and oxtail. The food was so good. Im still thinking about the Oxtail. It was so good. He shows you your food before he puts it in a bag to make sure youre satisfied. Cant wait to go back and get some more food. His beef patties go so fast I didnt get a chance to taste it yet but he has them made in NY and brought over to his store. Great to see new places opening up in the Poconos that actually serve good food.

We tried Caricom when we visited Great Wolf Lodge, and we are glad we did. The food is homemade, and the oxtail is the best Ive ever had. The two owners are very friendly. We will definitely go back there when we visit Great Wolf again. Its located right across the street from the lodge entrance. I highly recommend this place.

We love this place. Whenever we go to Great Wolf Lodge we take-out from here at least once sometimes twice. The food is homemade and fantastic. Just two warnings 1. call your order ahead of time and pad an extra 10 minutes. 2. This is not an eat-in place, while you can eat-in you are better off taking out.

We LOVE this place. The food is technically Guyanese Carribean but it is the best jerk weve ever had in the northeast. We always stop when we visit the Poconos since the food is AWESOME and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion size.
