After seeing loads of instagram worthy posts and friends raving about here, we had to try it. Based on all the great reviews I was a little disappointed with the inside, it wasnt anything special. I can see how this place would be a great place to get work done! Ive heard good things about their goodies, but didnt try any when I went. I ordered a vanilla latte and was pleased with the outcome! My friend asked for rainbow latte art, and they cleverly crafted her latte with yellow and purple. I regretted not asking for an animal or color in my latte... Next time for sure! They have your typical flavor shots, but also have some interesting specials like taro and lavender and ginger turmeric!

It looks like a nice place and it had great ratings. However, I walk in and the tables were not cleaned. The customer service from the two dealing with customers were not friendly. Also, I had hair in my cream cheese for my bagel so I asked nicely for it to be changed. The second time, there was yet ANOTHER hair on my bagel!! On top of that, I asked for a rag to clean my own table and I was given a dry rag to clean up the table as if that was helpful. So theres unfriendly service, unsanitary food, and dirty eating environment... dont go here. Also, I am all about supporting local businesses in RI as a former Miss RI USA. This business needs MAJOR improvement.

I come to Small Point Café quite a lot. Being a student I love love love to come to Small Point to attempt to get my work done in a peaceful & relaxing environment. The coffee is amazing. The workers are friendly and welcoming & the food is fresh. The iced lattes are always refreshing (they are my personal favorite) and if your lucky enough, the hot cappuccinos are topped with a foam mosaic artwork that is likely to impress everyone around you. Also try out the NAE NAE toast if you find yourself always craving a simple yet totally satisfying avocado toast recipe.

Just dont eat the savory food or drink the coffee. The cookies are SUPERB and I have hopes about the other desserts -and a pot of Jasmine tea is perfect. However, the quiche got me sick and my chicken salad sandwich for $9 looked and smelled more like tuna, which was on the cheapest fake baguette I couldve imagined (so rubbery everything fell apart immediately). Again, please dont drink the coffee. I dont think Google will allow me to post the words an employee once used to describe it. I suggest hitting the Starbucks around the corner before you go.

I havent had the food. I just had the pumpkin latte. It was heaven. Expensive ($4.25?), delicious, hot. Basically, heaven for my mouth. The pumpkin was legit. It had no artificiality to it. I will definitely return for my pumpkin fix (bancruptcy be damned). Additional disclosure, I am not the girl that is waiting for pumpkin-spice-latte season at starbucks. I think I tried it there once and threw up a little by how sweet it was.

I went here for the first time today and safely say I was beyond impressed! The workers are extremely nice and gave the best customer service out of any place Ive ever been to. The atmosphere of the cafe was very relaxing and laid back as well! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who just wants to enjoy some food and not be bothered (they have vegan options too!), I will certainly be returning! :D

Love this place! Great coffee and fun inviting atmosphere. When Im there I feel like Im in a super trendy home or loft. This coffee shop has a bit more seating and is open later than other coffee shops in Providence so youre more likely to find a seat. Id like to see better quality croissants and donuts. But the cookies are fantastic. I havent tried the other food options.

The quiche was moist and had all the right textures. The toasted everything bagel with cheese and tomato made my Mother very happy. The coffee is a titch too strong for her, but thats the way I like it. My Green Tea Latte was powerful, and a nice change from the norm. Not for the faint of heart - but the artistic foam design lets you know its all made with love.

Its a great like "crunchy" style bakery. The food and coffee are both great and theres a pretty extensive menu. I had the almond monkey bread and it was amazing. Its the kind of place that goes out of their way to reduce their carbon footprint. They have a specific trash barrel for compost, use pasta as coffee stirrers, stuff like that.

Really quick service even when it gets busy. The interior has a nice, inviting, hipstery atmosphere, with a great view outside. The Mexican mocha which I ordered was extremely good, and despite having 4 shots of espresso that kicked in pretty quick, it was not overly bitter. Would love to come back the next time Im driving by Providence.

So refreshing to find a place that sells coffee from farm collectives where the workers were paid a good wage! I boycott D & D and Starbucks because their beans are unsustainable and the workers get paid like dirt. Small Point has great, Equal Exchange coffee, fast wi fi, and awesome staff. One of my favorite places in Providence

The best coffee! Food ordering seem complicated but all came through perfectly cooked and tasted great. Its a bit cosy up front as nobody wants to sit at the larger tables by the counter. This place is popular so there always a line of people jostling by. Friendly atmosphere with younger crowd and student vibe.

I ordered an herbal tea. For $3.00 I received a very large cup of ridiculously hot water with a single store bought tea bag. Multiple spoons of honey did not compensate for the lack of flavor. For the price you would expect fresh tea or at least two bags. If they cant make tea I wouldnt want to try the coffee.

First time being here. Ordered a pretty basic Pesto, mozzarella and tomato sandwich. Was thinking I would probably be hungry again in the next half an hour. Surprisingly when I actually got the sandwich it was very hardy, flavorful and filling. Plus, they make fresh squeezed orange juice to order :))

Amazing coffee shop comfortable chairs great food, decent bagels kind of nerdy. There are star wars prints on the wall. Participates in the open market with coconut drinks and reggae music. Very cool coffee shop to burn time in or hang out. Compost friendly.

Lovely cafe. Staff is friendly and helpful. When theyre busy they are very patience with all customers still. Great breakfast and lunch items. All fresh ingredients with good coffee. Best place to come to do paperwork or homework on a weekday or weekend.
