Went there for the first time. Wife asked for soup. No soup that night. Ordered chicken parm meal and eggplant parm meals. Came with side salads. I asked for ranch dressing for mine. Waitress plopped 2 salads down and was gone in the blink of an eye. I got a caesar salad with thousand island dressing and she got a regular side salad. Switched salads with wife since she did not mind a caesar salad. Meals came...yeah they are large, but the sauce (gravy as the Italians say) was sweet. If you ever eat REAL Italian sauce it is not sweet. My wife asked for the heck of it if they had homemade meatballs. They do not. She asked if they have angel hair pasta. The waitress said they do not, but they get asked for angel hair pasta all the time. Why no angel hair then?? Ive eaten in much, much better Italian restaurants than this before. We only ate there because we were passing by and it was there. To their credit, the chicken parm itself was good, and the eggplant was good. Other than that, I would not go out of my way to eat there...also, our waitress was a 2 on the scale of 1 to 10. Yeah, we took food home, but we will throw the sugary sweet pasta in the trash and keep the chicken and eggplant and make our own pasta to go with it.

The food here cant be beat. If youre looking for an italian dinner that makes your taste buds dance with joy, this is the place. Youll leave with a dinner and a half in leftovers. The ONLY problem we had with our visit to Giovannis was when the check came. Nearly every meal was $1 in price higher than advertised on the menu. When we questioned this, we were told that "The menu says prices are subject to change without notice". We asked for a manager because we felt as consumers we had the right to be informed of what we were paying before we ordered it. They claimed that they ordered new menus 2 weeks ago and they just hadnt arrived. It took a couple spats with the manager to get a measly $6 price adjustment on a $46 bill. The price, new or old, wasnt unfair. But ask for current prices or you might get a surprise when the bill comes. Worth a visit. Well probably wont go back again because of the way we were treated.. Sorry guys, not having current menus after 2 weeks of price changes isnt an excuse for bait and switch.

If youre looking for sit down very good Italian food this is the place. There pasta dishes are great and you are given very large portions (but pricey 17.99 for spaghetti and meatball) We made the mistake of going there this week for sandwiches , my wife and I got cheesesteaks, first off there was hardly any cheese and what was on it was melted to the bun. The meat was dry and grizzly and the roll that was toasted was not fresh . Our son got the grilled chicken sandwich it was all roll and little chicken. Add 3 sodas and our bill came to 40 dollars + tip. Bottom line If you looking for great Italian dining this is the place. If youre looking for pizzeria type food there are better choices for a lot less in the area.

This place IS AMAZING!!! Everything I had was good. I sampled the pizza, the hand-breaded fried mozzarella, and the chicken Marsala. The entree comes with a very good mixed green salad with cherry tomatoes and cucumbers and very good garlic bread. The noodles were perfectly done, the sauce was impeccable and the chicken was omg so tender. The service was outstanding and quick. And oh my gosh do they load you up on the foods. This is a two meal place. Youre paying for two meals easy plus a salad and bread. Highly recommended!!!

Food was excellent! We ate outside and got horribly slow (but friendly) service, as did the other tables outside. The parking lot was very crowded and hard to park (they now have a parking attendant sometimes which helps!) The inside layout is not much to be desired; it is so tight and claustrophobic in there. While waiting in line to pay my bill, I felt like I was standing right on another famiys table, with other waiting to pay their bill. The food is always delicious here, but skip eating at the restaurant and just take it home!!!

We just dined here, overall okay. Not for groups of two or more for dine-in unless you dine outdoors. It was extremely small, especially for our group of 5 including three children, one in a highchair. They should really consider and open floor plan, it would suit the space much better. Our waitress was also okay. Service could have been speedier and more attentive. Now the food, the food was fabulous and the place was immaculate...great new food joint for town! I will go again, but, we will dine outside.

Ordered a Buffalo Grilled Chicken Wrap w/Hot sauce, & bleu cheese dressing (description taken straight from the menu). I wasnt expecting a hot sandwich which is what I got and there was no Hot sauce or bleu cheese dressing on it. The chicken itself was seasoned so strongly with garlic that it made the sandwich inedible. Sadly this was a take out order and not discovered until I got home. The sandwich we got was not edible and was thrown away after two bites.

Best place around, all though once in awhile you have to remind them so they dont get dislexic on multiple orders. I found to slow them down on the phone and get them to double repeat tricky custom orders... They listen and respond with the tastiest sandwiches and pizza and salads in a 10 mile radius... If it wasnt for them I find myself more appt to want to cook my own food. I dont like 95% of the local restaurant s.... But I love Giovannis...

Giovannis has the best Italian food in town. They give you huge portions, enough for leftovers. Everything I have ever had from here was delicious. And the staff is very friendly! I highly recommend you give them a try. You wont be disappointed. And you certainly wont leave hungry! Also if you have an event coming up, check out Giannis. Great venue for weddings, banquets, etc.

Pizza was disappointing. I had a personal BBQ chicken pizza, and my wife had a personal cheese pizza. The dough under the cheese was slimy and soggy. Im not sure if that was caused by the grease from the cheese or not. Something just tasted "off" about this pizza. This place is near the bottom of the list for us.

Waited 30 min for a pasta dish and when it came out half the food was cold. Asked to talk to the manager and she never came to talk to our table. When we cashed out she was on register and she never apologized for the long wait and cold pasta. She just had a song and dance excuse. I will never eat there again.

Gotta give it 5 stars. Ive been coming here for years. The space is cramped, but Ive never really had to wait for a table. Food could be considered pricey if not for the fact that the portions are huge. That aside, its always delicious. We are lucky to have pizza like this in the area
