Visited for the first time on a Tuesday late evening 8:00 pm & there were (2) other people dining. The place was clean and decorated with large comfortable chairs that were a bit large for the space. And because the tables were very close to one another there was little space for the chairs to be pulled out so guests can sit without disturbing the neighboring guests already seated. The restaurant is narrow and small. While I did not order it, I tasted the "Yassa Chicken" and it was delicious! Some of the other members of my party ordered the "Chicken Kabobs & Grilled Steak" & they also said their selections were good. Pricing was moderate and portion was comparable. They served warm water with little ice. For their to be only (2) other guests who were already eating when we arrived, it took a long time for them to serve our food for a party of (5). Servers were pleasant. Overall a nice experience but could be enhanced further with minor changes.

The food is good but customer service is TERRIBLE!!!! I ordered through Grub Hub and they gave me sweet potato fries instead of sweet potatoes. I called them TWICE line just kept ringing with no response. Normally when you call a professional establishment they pick up within 3 rings NOT THIS PLACE!! I even had Grub hub call them 3 TIMES!! Save yourself some time and your money and go to ERA. At least they pick up the DAMN phone! *2 weeks later. I decided to give them another chance to redeem themselves. They claimed they never received my ordered (yeah okay I ordered through Grub Hub come again?) and of course when Grub called them multiple times no response. The rep had to contact the driver who told her the Resturant claimed they never received my order. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Good meal ruined by burned plantains. My first experience with Youma was great. I couldnt wait to eat there again. I was eager for my husband to try it too especially the plantains. But we were disappointed by the blackened plantains! Unfortunately, I didnt discover it until I got home. They could have offered to a replacement side or just mentionedit, Im turned off from Youma.

This place is excellent because, they have Senegalese cooks who are cooking the food and the food is traditional authentic traditional dishes. The waitress is pleasant and very attentive. Very reasonably priced with a great portion. Its my familys third time here at Youmas and we will continue to patronize it.

If I could I would give this 4.5 stars. The food was amazing food a perfect blend of spices and herbs. All the meat was perfectly cooked everything was just amazing but the food took a while to cook but that was kinda made up for with the cozy atmosphere and nice staff.
