Homestead Coffee Roasters is a popular area destination cyclists, bikers (the motorized type) and anyone looking for a great cup of coffee or bite to eat at breakfast or lunch time. Situated right on the Tow path, Homestead welcomes cyclists with its bike rack and outdoor patio overlooking the canal where one can observe many varieties of waterfowl while enjoying a snack. Given its popularity, it gets busy on weekends and holidays. The wait can be long at these times, but dont get discouraged. The scenery and coffee are worth the wait.

This is a medium-size coffee shop located along the Delaware River. When I have a day to myself, I ride my motorcycle out to this place to relax and have a cup of coffee. The coffee itself is good and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. In my opinion, the views where this place is located cant be beat. Homestead roasters also has a lot of nice knickknacks which make great gifts. Be sure to check out Ringing Rocks park while youre visiting.

Just here once so far. Not exactly around the corner from me but I will be back. Enjoyed the slow atmosphere on a winter Sunday afternoon. But I was told by one of the employees that they Close at 6pm during the week and 5pm on Sundays. A lot of regulars here. Blueberry scones and brownies are great. Awesome decaf! They have several decafs.

Weve been here twice. The first time was wonderful. The second time was today, we placed our order and were told there would be "a bit of a wait" - We asked how long and were told 20 to 25 minutes, no problem. We sat in there for an hour waiting for our food only to find it had been sitting on the counter and no one had called us up.

Great place for Java, 2 dozen favors both by the cup or bean bags-- and specialty items like soaps. They roast the Homestead Coffees right on the property. Always stop here for a 5 pound bag of coffee. Winter Roast. Only way its better is if all coffees were organic. A lot is, but not all.

If you are going to order a basic breakfast sandwich "to go", expect to wait 45+ mins. Counter service was rushed and customer service was set aside during the busy Saturday morning. I will not be wasting anymore time at this place.

The Homestead Store is one of my favorite places, the staff are always fantastic and chatting with the owners is great! The food is always very good and the atmosphere is fantastic! I wish I could give them a 10 star review!

Michael, one of the owners opened up the roastery for me near closing time to show me the place. He is very knowledgeable. I bought two pounds of beans on Michaels recommendation and they both make wonderful espresso.
