I had an horrible experience with this restaurant. The delivery guy "Bill" was very rude and disrespectful. My bill came to about $12.30. I gave him $15.00 I sat and waited for my change, had every intention on giving a tip, might have even let him keep the remaining balance , but I wanted him to give me that option and instead of just pocketing the money and going. His response was "I dont carry change". I told him that was unacceptable. He then went into his pocket and gave me $3. By this point Im extremely irritated, but I still gave him a $1. He began to yell very loud the only thing I could understand was "call them and tell them to fire me"!! Im assuming he meant call the restaurant. He yelled this to the top of his lungs as he began to walk towards me as if he was going to attack me ! I backed up and asked him what his name was, he yelled "Bill my name is Bill" !! MY response was ok Bill I will call. He stormed out of the hospital I work at. I immediately called the restaurant told them about my experience, and they seemed to be the least bit concerned. Initially, a child answered the phone I told her I needed to speak with a manager. She put me on hold and said that I can speak with her. I told her I needed to speak with an adult. The woman who came to the phone said that her name was Judy I believe. I explained what happen . She said she would "talk to him". My response was "thats it"? She said yes, and hung up the phone. I never experienced anything like this in my life and was truly afraid for my safety. I will never order from this restaurant again and will tell everyone I know not to!!! Beyond disappointed !!! The food was good, but had a hard time eating because I completely lost my appetite after what happened.

This place had me waiting almost 2 hours for my food to get here then when it got to my place it was ice cold and I called and asked for them to do something about it they suggested i use a Microwave (Very professional) worst customer service I have experienced will not be ordering food from here again...... I would suggest you pick another Chinese food restaurant to order from there are plenty to choose from in Roxborough

Its hard for me to order Chinese since nothing compares to the food back home in NY. I must say that this comes the closest. Absolutely my favorite. Delicious and fresh everytime! My favorite is the Sesame Chicken (extra crispy), the beef with broccoli and the Lo Mein:-) I will agree with others that delivery is long but that just tells me that there is more than just me that enjoys the food at this place.

This place has pretty good food but the staff is very rude. The young lady/teenager who runs the front counter and phones is by far the rudest person weve met. She takes over the phone orders for pick up only for them not to be ready when you get to the store. If you dare ask about your food she becomes rude and basically bullshit you until you become agitated. The food isnt worth the crappy service.

New Ruby Chinese Restaurant is such a special Chinese bistro. As a Chinese foodie who was born and raised in Taiwan. I can tell you that they are unique in their very best way. Well, true story: I made them an unofficial site the very first time I visit them. Trust me, I know Chinese food, and some dishes gave me almost like religious experience.

Very rude! High prices for food that isnt that great. If you like over priced greasy food and rude people this place is for you! Dont forget to check your reciept because they will also try to over charge you. There is better food in manayunk/roxborough with better service and better prices.

New to the neighborhood and always nervous about Chinese stores, however, this stores food was very good. The service was quick and the lady was patient with me while she took my order. Will definitely order from here again.

I order here about once a week maybe once every 2 weeks, but the only thing I dislike is the time to get delivery. So I pick it up when I get it. Besides time for delivery everything is Excellent and I enjoy it.

I like the food but they cannot ever make my food until I get there... place an order for pickup, they tell me 10 minutes. I come 25 min later and get the "few more minutes", which ends up being 10.

The delivery was not only slow, but the delivery man had a bone in his pants. Food is usually decent enough to stomach, unless you get the diet specials - theyll knock your butt off.

Trash. Chicken is low grade, as are the flavors. Service is worse. Ex. They claim that chow mein (crunchy noodles) combos do not come with the chow mein noodles! Ridiculous.
