This place wouldnt be bad if the staff wasnt lazy. The bathroom courtesy check call sounded and no one actually checked the dirty bathrooms. Then later on, there were 15 people in line, one poor little blonde cashier trying to do it all by herself with the manager standing by the side and the Cinnabon chick just milling around. Cinnabon wouldnt help until a customer asked if she could ring stuff out too, and then she finally decided to actually provide some customer service since her big secret that she had the power to help was out. The guy that cleans the showers is the worst. Bought the shower, 5 were open and just needing to be cleaned, and yet still had to wait half an hour--not because he was being thorough, but bc he kept disappearing. And when he finally did "clean" it, he took a spray bottle in for not even 1 minute and then cleared it for the next customer. When I went in, there was debris on the seat, toilet paper was low, and I know nothing had been wiped down. Another customer actually asked for a mop so he could clean his shower himself. As for what this place has amenities wise, 2 washers (pay extra quarters for heavier loads) and 4 dryers, so you pretty much have to sit back by the machines and watch them like a hawk to find an opening. Game room is like 3 beat up machines. 8 showers, Idle Air in the lot, Subway, Huddle House, and a Boss shop in the back.

Every time I come here I have to wait over 30 minutes for a shower despite the day or time. The female managers excuse today was that the shower cleaner went on break and she wasnt smart enough to put another employee back there to cover. (This is why men do better in leadership positions.) When I came in there were 7 people in front of me waiting. The shower was mediocre at best. 1 towel is all and very tight and small. The staff wasnt too friendly, but Im used to the South and it is kinda unfair to compare the two. The food selection here is poor. Subway is boring and Huddle House isnt very good. I didnt notice any soup or deli in the main store. The salad at Subway compared to everywhere else is $$$. Lesson learned. Never eating there again until they can bring their prices down. Then there is the ubiquitous chemically laden cinnabon. Not much here for people like me who try to eat healthy. Too much junk.

For those who complain about this place, Ill never figure out why. (1) I watched a employee get down on his KNEES and scrub the shower floors and around the toilet. Cant get any better clean than that. (2). The staff was very polite and quick. (3). Coffee, hot and fresh, no complaints. Then, the icing on the cake! Went to huddle house for my first time. Was not displeased. Karen was exceptionally polite, very nice to talk to. Ordered my food, she brought it out in 3 minutes flat. Food tasted great, staff was very friendly. No long wait. Karen went above and beyond not just by being polite but taking care of 6 others on top of me and still keeping her cool workout messing up a order. This truck stop gets so many bad reviews and for my 2nd time being here, Id enjoy coming back again. I have absolutely no complaints. Everyone pulled their weight here like truck stops should do everywhere.

They have miles and miles of space to improve upon. Showers were far from satisfactory. The bathrooms looked like they are a set from the walking dead. Staffing is very poor in quality and quantity. Spoke to the manager on duty, at least she tried her best, but she had very little to work with sorry to say. I would not give 1 star, only because the manager showed effort, but had her hands so full she couldnt see what was in front of her. I hope for great improvement in the future, and will revisit and update this review if/or when they make the needed changes to make this an acceptable truck stop.

They cant wait to give each other funny looks and make you leave at this place. If this is customer service Jimmy haslem an the Cleveland browns will go to the super bowl lololol. The Cinnabon here has very very old product on display an will warm 1 of them for me then give the next customer the one fresh out the oven. I asked could we at least warm it she ignored me so I had to come back. It was still hard even after it was warm it was so old. I come here sometimes an always get good service. But this Maybe the last time I buy something from this place!

First it depend on what you expect from a truck stock. Personally, I love stooping in Flying Js cause its usually clean, decent parking and a lot of relatively fresh food to go. Here, the half of the parking is taken by this idleair crap, and for the food to go, its pity... No soups. No pizza. No chicken. No Mac n cheese, potatoes or other food of this kind. All you got is a handful of hotdogs and this gigantic cinnabon stand in the store. But if all you need is to fuel, go to restrooms and buy a Pepsi, its a great place, but its not a great J.

The service here sucked. I drive over the road and usually find these places well staffed and friendly. I was there on a Saturday night and there was one non friendly guy at the register. The line was twenty people long(not exaggerating) another employee came out, walked behind counter, did something then left., I get paid to keep my truck rolling. I spent ninety minutes just to scale my trailer.... Thank goodness I wasnt planning on going any further that night. Just wasted part of my break

The bathroom was the place of nightmares. There were brown streaks down the inside of all the toilets, urine splattered on and around the toilets, water all over the sinks, and it reaked of urine. I was going to inform an employee, but she was so rude to the person in front of me--she ignored her and when asked if shed heard said "yeah, but youll have to wait" and kept stocking things without so much as an apology--that I decided it wasnt worth my time to try to help them improve.

This is the worst Flying J when it comes to customer service.theres always long lines at the cashier counter. Most times they have just one Cashier.And please avoid this location if you need a shower.I have waited for a Shower for more than an hour and a half and still didnt get to take a shower because they Lie and said that The hot water heater was broken.Come to find out later the hot water heater wasnt broken. The Person that was cleaning the shower had gone home.

Decent parking, shower was ok, they need more cashiers instead of just one with the line backed up all the way to the back of the store. Huddle House was terrific, no complaints on the restaurant. They also have a Subway Restaurant inside this Flying J, got me the six inch Meatball Sub of the day for later. 3 1/2 stars on this one, I have a feeling that this stop fills up fast.

I visited this station first time; showers pipe was leaking and spraying water all over like fountain, and towels had stains like paints. I bought Wi-Fi internet that did not work at all. I called to customer service and they said there are several users...I said then why am I charged for this if it is not working...then are was a long silence at other end.
